I came in here because we have just bought a new house and with a lot of new square footage to fill, I wanted to come scope out my options. Restoration Hardware is pricey, but I love their stuff and would be willing to splurge on something worthwhile. As I was investigating the furniture, I came across a dining table that had all the appearance of solid wood, but a small chip on the side revealed the particleboard underneath. It was indeed laminate. Incredibly convincing laminate, complete with all the grooves and imperfections of solid wood, but laminate nevertheless. I’m definitely not interested in splurging on laminate furniture. Some of their drawer units also had drawers that had issues closing. In terms of true quality and functionality, I felt there was a lot to be desired. Also, one of the salesmen condescendingly suggested to me that I might be interested in RH Teen rather than their regular products. I have a fairly young appearance, but given that I am a year shy of 30, I am convinced it is not THAT young and he was just being a *%^$.

Half of my townhouse is decorated with RH furniture. The furniture is good quality, you are paying an upgraded price but there is nothing like it. If you aren’t satisfied with a piece they will deliver you a new one. The flagship store in Cherry Creek has some of the best views in Denver, I highly recommend taking a walk to the top floor. I will continue buying from RH Pros: Great style, AMAZING quality, large selection of furniture/home goods/accent pieces etc Cons: Delivery agency doesn’t communicate well, sometimes they just show up. We have sent back two sets of monogrammed towels because of large amount of snagging.

2÷26÷16: update Still waiting for my credit card to be refunded for the crap lamp from this place. It takes them over two weeks to refund me my money!!! Never ever will I shop her again. Should file a complaint with the BBB. — — — EXPENSIVEFORITEMSMADEINCHINA This review pertains only to the defective: faulty lamp we received. Very disappointing. We had such high hopes for our little sleek 1930’s inspired Parisian task lamp in beautiful bronze to be let down when it didn’t function. Upon closer examination I noticed the big«Made in China» sticker of extraordinary quality. Will be getting our money back.

Very disappointed. Found it cold, pricey and sterile. Wondered around for about 30 minutes without being greeted. No thanks!

Very disappointed with the new shopping experience at Restoration Hardware. I drove all the way to Cherry Creek to fight the traffic, parking, etc because I wanted to see some items in person and take home that I had wanted to buy from their website. Save yourself the trip and frustration! «The Gallery» is beautiful and great to walk around. However, they have NOTHING available for you to purchase and take home!!! I was able to find a sales person to help me out with my questions. Which seems to have been an issue for other people leaving reviews. When I went to purchase my items, the salesperson whipped out her iPad, went to the RH website and placed my order… to include a nice fat SHIPPINGCHARGE! In my experience, if a store did not have your item on hand, they have always waived the shipping charge for the inconvenience! This new concept seems to be very unfriendly to their customers! I could have saved myself the time and hassle ordering from the comforts of my own home! Not worth the trip!

I’m going to disagree with everyone else who has so far reviewed this new store. I found it fun to wander through and see design ideas and inspiration. It was sort of a catalogue come to life. The space is what is to be expected and on brand. Yes, prices are high, but that’s the RH we already knew. We were greeted by a lovely sales woman and asked if we needed help throughout. The only floor I didn’t love was the top outdoor furniture one. I imagine it’s for event rental because it didn’t have much diversity in products.

A lush upscale furniture store designed to provide the customer a museum-like experience. Unfortunately, it fails to provide more than that. The air is stifled with arrogance as you enter and it’s a big deterrent for anybody ready to lay down the big bucks. The pretentious staff are more likely to greet their fancy IPADs and $ 9 lattes then their customers. But if you really need that overpriced wardrobe resembling a giant’s tomb bigger than your bathroom, head south to the Restoration Hardware at the Castle Rock outlet for a bargain and better service instead.

One word — COLD. The environment and the people who work there… I am totally disappointed with the«recreation» of RH. I’ve also had some interaction with a few of the staff, and I have to say that I am less than impressed. I will always have a soft spot for the RH fare of years passed. But the facelift, if that is what we are calling it, leaves much to be desired in terms of the all around experience of shopping here. My money will be spent elsewhere.

A beautiful new store with 4 huge floors and you can’t buy anything. NOTHING in stock… no towels, no lamps, nothing that you can take to a housewarming or a hostess gift. Walked the entire length of the store twice and no sales people either. Another woman and I commented that it must be self-serve. VERYSTRANGE. So disappointed.

I have gone to the new location on 2 occasions to shop. I have wandered the cavernous space for over an hour, just like the other reviewer states, you have no idea who works there, and I actually have walked out both times since I was simply not spoken to or greeted. You would think they would be eager to welcome people to the new space. As for me, I have taken my purchase elsewhere and I will not be supporting RH in it’s new location.
