We are lucky. Reed is nationally known amongst high-​end photogs, and poeple send them their images but all we have to do is go on down to their shop. Their attention to detail is second to none, and their dedication to doing it right is even better. I sell prints on occasion and if I can’t print it myself these are the only folks I’ll let print for me.

I am so grateful to the Reed family for the high quality prints of my paintings they’ve produced. I was very hesitant to leave my original work to be copied anywhere over night, but was comforted by the welcoming, professional, and knowledgable staff Reed boasts. (They even let me bring my dog in and gave her a treat and some good petting.)
When I returned to pick up my pieces and review the test prints, I was blown away by the sharpness of line and brilliance of color their inks and paper captured. My work can be very colorful and intricate, and I was worried that prints wouldn’t capture those qualities. This was not the case at Reed. Not only was the quality of material exceptional, but the staff also went above and beyond to «clean up» the digital copies of some older original oil paintings that had staining and smudges on them for no extra charge.
I would recommend Reed’s services to anyone– novice, professional, or other. They go above and beyond. The only reason I give them 4 stars out of 5 is because of the quality of service I received from one of their employees in particular, which negatively effected the turn around time on one of my time-​sensitive orders, but everyone else is fantastic and the quality of their products is top notch. Go to Reed for any of your fine printing needs!

I am beyond blown away by the work and customer service you get at Reed. I brought in an antique photo for copy and they were able to turn it around in just a few short hours. Which is amazing!
On top of that, the quality of the scan and print were exceptional. Reed sincerely gave me a piece of my family history that will be forever restored now. Thank you! I will be back for the remainder of these pictures. I will forever be a loyal Reed customer.

For our wedding anniversary, I wanted to surprise my husband with an enlarged black and white wedding photo to hang over the mantle. I purchased an awesome Unilocal deal and trotted over with my JPEG file requesting it to be blown up to 24×48 inches. I was told that due to the vast size differential, the proportions may not turn out well and that it was best to run test strips first. Seemed reasonable to me.
Long story short — I had to do two test strips and try different frames of the photo I wanted. It was also recommended that due to the sizing proportions of the original photo, I should change the order to 24×36 inches to keep everything proportional. No big deal… until I got the bill. I was charged $ 120 for the enlargement (which I was expecting), but I was also charged $ 15 per test strip ($ 30 total) which I was not expecting. When I inquired about this, the employee said, «No one told you? There is always a charge for test strips.» Um, no. It would be really nice to have a full disclosure on these kind of things, similar to how transparent they were with me regarding different pricing options for the enlargement. Hence, the one star deduction. After much effort, I ended up sorting this out with management, and they did refund me the charge for the test strips which was very much appreciated.
As far as the product — the quality of the photograph was amazing. It came out exactly how I envisioned it, and their advice to downsize slightly was spot on. They are meticulous and truly care about the product they deliver, and it clearly shows. I would definitely use them again. However, I would recommend you inquire about every service they provide just to avoid any potential billing surprises. Overall, I was very pleased with the quality of their service and pricing.

Mixed feelings about my experience with Reed. First of all, I gave them over a week to get something printed for a show, which apparently isn’t enough time to get something done without putting a «rush» on it, which costs extra. And when I called them to check on the status of the prints 2 days before the show they had screwed up my order.
Having said that, they fixed the screw up, the prints looked absolutely gorgeous, everything was done in time, and the staff was very courteous and even remembered my name when I came in to the store. A little bit more expensive than some of the competition, and definitely higher turn around time but the end result looks amazing.

Went here to get some prints made that walmart or wal greens couldnt due to the size i needed them. The prints came out amazing! ill def be going back

Used Reed for mail order film developing and proofs of 35 mm and 120 color print film. The quality of the negatives and prints were good and the customer service was great but that is not why I gave them only 3 stars. The rating is based on the special instructions I enclosed for how I would like the negatives cut. Out of the 4 rolls sent, none were cut per my requests. While this may not be a major problem, I will not use them again because they can not follow my simple instructions and I can not trust them to follow the more important ones.

There probably isn’t anyone better in this area to do any kind of printing. Period. They always do a fantastic job.
I called for a quote on a client project (tradeshow graphics) and was quoted a price per piece and it didn’t add up as they had quoted me per square inch and one size was not the same as the other when I broke it down. So I called back. She said, oh, yes, she was looking at the wrong number, she was very nice. Fine. I reiterated what I wanted and explained the material to her. Flexible plastic that would lay perfectly flat with a velcro back on a carpeted tradeshow booth. She put the phone down and went to look at the material and then came back and assured me this is what we were talking about. I reiterated that I was quoting my client based on this information.
Sure enough, the client makes an order. I tell them to hang on because I didn’t feel good about our previous communication as far as pricing, so I tell them I need to call to make sure the price hasn’t changed. I called back a third time and reiterated all of these things to the person on the phone and received a third, different figure on what I wanted. At this point, I raised my quote to the client just in case.
As it turns out, when I went to see the material, we weren’t at all talking about the same thing. I needed flexible vinyl material that would lay flat and smooth with a velcro back on a carpeted tradeshow booth and yet still be able to roll up for storage. They were quoting me on banner fabric.
What I quoted my client was $ 180 plus my fee. What I needed was $ 1400 plus tax and that didn’t include the velcro. After a conversation with Gary Reed, (he knew right off the bat what material I was talking about when I gave him the same description I gave three different people up front) he called me back and quoted me a really generous price on the project. At this point I was out of time, so I didn’t really have any other choice.
I had to pay $ 120 and change over the total that my client had already paid. Not good. That’s all of my utilities for a month and I’m on a pretty thin margin as it is. At this point I didn’t have any more time and I kind of felt my back was against the wall. To the point where I just kept my head down and my mouth shut until after I had picked up and paid for them.
The thing is, I kind of feel like they think I should be super grateful that it didn’t cost me more. From their point of view, I think he thinks I got an amazing deal. From my point of view, it cost me $ 120 out of my pocket when I had called three times in order to get a quote and gave the best information that I knew how to give to three different people, one of whom went back to look at it personally. I feel like all I did was make a phone call and had to lose money on a job because of it.
I want to be grateful, I really do. But now I’m scrambling to find that money somewhere else. $ 100 makes a huge difference to me. I went in to pick the product up today and went back where they had it laid out. The guy said barely two words to me. Nobody came out and said «Hey, I’m sorry this didn’t go down right» or «Hey, do you have a few minutes, let’s talk about the material and why it costs what it does» or «Hey, come back here and I’ll show you the process it needs to go through, etc». I just felt awful and like I wanted to leave. And like they wanted me to.
I don’t think anyone set out to make this a nightmare. People make mistakes. I’m just not happy that I never set out to deceive anyone, made several attempts at trying to explain what I wanted and I still lost money. But it made me feel really icky about the whole thing. Gary made it clear that he could see I didn’t ‘do this all the time’ and that I needed education about the process. Hey. I was just trying to get a job done. I’m sorry if I didn’t go to Printing U. I explained everything to the best of my ability and I assure you, I know more than the average person off the street about tradeshow graphics or I would have ordered the banner fabric. They were very happy to pass on $ 120 to me that I don’t think I should have had to pay, when I would never have done that to my client. And really… another $ 120 wouldn’t have made much of a difference to them based on the ‘generous’ deal they gave me. But it’s making a big difference to me now.
I didn’t rate them low on stars because I don’t think they deserve that. But I’ll find another printer going forward. I can’t afford to have this happen again.

This company is a major find of mine. I am archiving my late fathers work. as well as showing it a bit at a time as I go along. Gary Reed the owner is honest and artistic in his recommendations to me. I have a good eye but this is how he makes a living. Bob J in the print department has been a great help in the final stage of getting reprints made. I am indebted to them and great to know my father considered using them and he was in NYC. the Imaging reproduction mecca
You get what you pay for but they are honest in the rates as I have looked around for years. eric of

i used Reed Photo’s mailers, and sent in a roll of Fujifilm Neopan Acros 100 in 35 mm, for process, scan and prints, and to date, I have never seen better black and white scans or prints.
Great job. Competitive pricing.

If you need quality prints, don’t go to Walgreen’s for God ‘s sake! Reed’s will do an amazing job for a touch more in price. Giclee prints are the way to go for amazing wall art.
The staff here is fantastic, like you’d want ot hang with them for at a Rockies’ game kind of nice.

The most intelligent, experienced, kind staff I could imagine. I literally chose to pick-​up my prints instead of using drop-​ship just so I could enjoy the interaction with such an efficient, positive group.
I have since moved out of state but I am still using their services (even though drop-​ship is my only option now) because they’ve earned my patronage!
