History

Established in 1983.

In 1983, We began providing bookkeeping and tax preparation services to businesses and individuals. Managing member, Rhonda Redgate, is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS and the office manager is a Quickbooks Proadvisor. We specialize in small business bookkeeping at RedGate Accounting making sure the businesses we work with are compliant with all tax forms and cognizant of all upcoming taxes. We pride ourselves on our customer service.

Enrolled Agent. Formerly from Illinois, but have been in the Denver area for over 30 years, most of which I have been working with this firm. Proficient in accounting, bookkeeping and taxes. I like to have a relationship with my clients, not just be a bookkeeping or tax place, but rather the bookkeeping/​tax person they can feel free contacting. Mother, Grandma, dog owner, Harley rider and nature lover!

I wanted to get a second opinion on my taxes with Rhonda since she had such good reviews (I’m an independent consultant). We went through all my numbers, she did some estimations, and found the numbers were pretty good and my accountant did a good job. Can’t believe how honest she was! She could have easily tried to just steal the business. 5 stars all the way.

Rip off… just like H&R block. She wanted to charge me $ 125 to type in one additional form from last year. I watched the H&R tax person do it in 10min. She must have plenty of clients to defer me to turbo tax and not give a break to a return customer. The office she is in pretty worn down to charging the same as the Block. She should be a little more humble, just sayin. No worries, turbo tax WILL get my money.

Two years ago I opened new business and my friend recommended to Rhonda. She has been amazing. We changed from LLC to S crop and She helped get all the tax and all the paper work done on time and no problem. I did not have to worry anything she took care it all !

If you are looking for an accountant to help with business purposes, look elsewhere. The only way they would make an appointment with me was if I agreed to have them do monthly bookkeeping for me, without even talking with them about what they do or what my goals and needs were in seeking an accountant. The gentleman who answered the phone was less than pleasant and borderline rude, and even asked if I was the same guy who called earlier asking the same thing. If you are already a client, maybe they’re great, but as a potential customer, I was quite put off and will be sending my business elsewhere, I suggest you do the same if you need an accountant that is responsive and willing to work with you.

Impressed by their positive reviews in Unilocal,I called this business in mid January to make an appointment for personal and business taxes. The man who answered my call had his mouth full, but that did not stop him: «Hello». When I explained the purpose of my call, he said «hold on» and gave the phone to a woman. I had to explain the purpose of my call for a second time, just to be told that they do not accept any new business. She suggested that I call back in mid February to see whether there are any openings. Instead, I called another agency and made an appointment for February 20th. If you are new to Switzer and Pritchard, you may want to save your time and look somewhere else.

I found Rhonda by using Unilocal and must say I am glad I did. She has prepared our taxes for the last two years and has done a tremendous job for an extremely reasonable price. This past year I gave her my paperwork and she called to ask about something I had mentioned the year before, but completely neglected to include in the current tax info. She has saved us a lot of money.

Rhonda is professional, thorough, and fast! I searched high and low for a tax professional to help me with both personal income tax filing and small business. After much research, I settled here and am really glad I did.
Rhonda will take the time to sit down with you and really listen to your needs. Then her vast experience kicks in and she gives you top notch advice. She’s helped me out in many areas of tax planning strategy, resulting in significant savings.
And her rates are VERY reasonable. You get way more than you pay for.
If you’re on the fence about where to go, I’d recommend coming here. Ask for Rhonda and she’ll take good care of you.

Terry took care of preparing my personal taxes for 2013 and they were done when she said they would be (took about a month after dropping everything off). She also suggested amending my 2012 and 2011 taxes based on a couple of things she saw. Rhonda took care of getting that done quickly and I received a decent refund on the amended taxes to boot!

I would not suggest using Switzer and Pritchard LLC for small business taxes. While they are easy to get into, very reasonably priced and friendly, the services provided are horrendous. For being a certified CPA one would expect proper tax knowledge — unfortunately Ms. Pritchard seems to be lacking in this area. I have only used the services provided for just over a year and my estimated tax payments have been miscalculated EACH and EVERY time. No one likes to receive a «you owe» bill at the end of the year — prepare for a very large one when using this firm. Even after providing all the necessary paperwork and giving a higher gross estimate this firm is unable to even come close to preparing a proper estimated tax payment. Their excuse: «I can only blame myself and the rush of tax season for the year’s under-​estimate». This year’s tax season?! Isn’t that what your job is!!! I would highly look at other firms when considering help with small business taxes.

They were both very personable and helpful in preparing and filing my taxes, and they found additional deductions I didn’t know I qualified for! Rhonda’s attention to detail coupled with her «up to the minute» knowledge of tax law changes, makes her a true Subject Matter Expert. Not to mention a joy to work with. She WILL keep you honest! It almost seems like a catch 22 to give a tax accountant a good review but Rhonda deserves it. My husband and I were so happy with how easy she made our taxes, how straight forward and helpful she was, and how much she communicated with us through the entire process. She was friendly and professional and got our taxes done quickly and efficiently. Her prices were standard yet we received more from her then others in the past who charged the same if not more. We will absolutely be working with her next tax season and highly recommend her to everyone.
