Recently took a Chalk Painting with one of my employees, we had so much fun, learned a lot, and enjoyed shopping the consignment shop afterwards. The chalk paint instructor, Laura was very fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. After our class she helped us pick out the paint and tools we needed to get started on all of our painting projects to come. Really a great experience overall and the Chalk painting class is well worth it.

Great store to find unique pieces! Also, selling through them is an easy process and they send you a check in the mail!

Literally the best consignment store in Denver. The inventory is creatively curated and changes a lot. If they don’t have it, they will find it ASAP. The owners are very knowledgeable and adaptable to any design challenge. We have used them for both home and office.

LOVE re-​for your home. Every time I go in there I find a new treasure that I fall in love with. From a piece of art, a vintage credenza or a killer pillow; they always have great finds!

I could go here every week. There is always someone new. I think the prices are reasonable and the staff helpful and nice. I have purchased several lamps and mirrors. I also bought some chalk paint and brushes. This is my altimeter favorite place!

A great store with a great selection of furniture and accessories, and friendly, helpful staff — Jean and Laura were welcoming and knowledgeable. And you’d have to consider their sticker prices absolutely mouthwatering given the current popularity of mid-​century furniture. Re-​for your home is now definitely on our must visit list whenever we find ourselves in Denver. Thanks again, Jean and Laura, for making us welcome and for all you did to help us come away with some wonderful pieces for our new home.

Tara has an incredible eye for design and has made our house «funner» and more comfortable to live in. Jean and Laura are always a pleasure to work with as well. Every time I stop in to pick something else up that my wife has purchased, I am blown away by how happy I am to continue to shop with these three fantastic women!

Tara and her team have been absolutely amazing! We have been in the process of re-​doing our 20’x100’ deck and Tara has helped my dream come to fruition! I will definitely use them on our next project (our bathroom) and any future projects!!! Great Anne Sloan chalk painting class!

This store is AWESOME and very reasonably priced. Really cute pieces and fun finds. I took the Chalk Paint 101 class and Laura was super nice and a very patient teacher. I highly recommend taking the class before using Chalk Paint though because there are specific steps and tips to be aware of.
I bought two pieces of furniture at the store (store owners were also SO nice and so eager to help) and I can’t wait to paint the chair I bought.
So glad I found this place– make sure to check it out!

Love this store. Took my tired cushions from chairs in and they revived them. The ladies were very nice and helpful. They’re also the only store that sells Annie Sloan chalk paint. Really easy to use paint. Look how great this 70’s buffet turned out.

I recently took the Chalk Paint class at RE taught by Laura. This was a fantastic experience. Laura gave a brief history of the paint technique developed by Annie Sloan and talked about several techniques that could be used to achieve different effects when painting furniture, fabric, metal, etc. I am not a «craft» person but found this class to be inspirational in terms of how it could transform everyday «blah» furniture and accessories, things you would find at a thrift store could really be transformed. And the technique is easy. By the time I left the class, I felt confident that I could begin to use the Chalk Paint techniques.
I had just happened to walk into RE by chance one Saturday as myself and my husband were on our way to Epic Brewing just a couple blocks away. We walked in and loved the consignment furniture and art and thought that the prices were great. But the best thing that happened is one of the owners, Tara, took the time to talk to us about the choices we were making for our kitchen remodel and basically created an amazing kitchen that we got really excited about with her recommendations. She took the time to give us everything that we needed to put together the cabinets, flooring, paint, backsplash and countertops from the samples we had already picked combined with some great ideas from her own decorating expertise. We went from being «unsure» about our kitchen to feeling «absolutely amazed» at what we were going to be able to create. Thank you, Tara!!!
So, RE is basically a have-​to place to go to check out the furniture and accessories as well as to look at the Chalk Paint possibilities and think about taking a class.
I can’t say enough positive things about RE.

Long overdue review: this is truly one of the best buying experiences I have ever had. New to the neighborhood, a few months ago, I decided to check this place out. (I had already checked out IKEA and other big box options and wanted better quality and more originality.) I was so charmed by this store and so glad I waited! The furniture selection at «re-​for your home» was eclectic and offered lots of options at a wide range of price points. One of the owners asked me about my needs and space and was more than willing to run around the store trying to find pieces that suited me. (She definitely didn’t snub her nose at a 20-​something trying to furnish a new place on a budget!) When it came to making my purchases, she lowered prices on several items. I ended up spending about $ 650 but got a *ton* of stuff — a vintage chrome bar cart (that I love!!), a large wooden shelf (that I use for towels and toiletries in my bathroom), a bedroom set (matching dark wood dresser, nightstand, and bed), and a lovely scalloped mirror. And, even better, since I live close by, the co-​owner offered to have her husband deliver my new purchases. He arrived at my house a few hours later and brought everything inside— free of charge! I have been so pleased and am so grateful to have found this place!!!

I love this store! They have an interesting mix of eclectic pieces that are all in great shape. There is something unique hiding in every corner, and it’s not just a furniture store. There are great paintings (the beetle) and other trinkets all around. The staff is super friendly and helpful and goes out of their way to make sure you get what you came for. Great location and pieces that were thoughtfully arranged in the showroom. I’m looking forward to visiting again to see what has changed.

I recently moved to the neighborhood and was in need for a chest of drawers. I jumped online to see any local and unique solutions and stumbled across re-​for your home. I braved the snow and travelled the short distance to the store; I’m so glad I did. It features wonderfully unique pieces at reasonable prices. The true gem of this place it its service. The team at this store truly raises the bar for incredible service, friendliness and fairness. I ended up not only purchasing the chest of drawers (incredible piece btw!) but I also dropped off a few things for consignment. Bonus!
If you haven’t checked this place out, please do; you’ll do yourself a service for having this store in your back pocket when searching for furniture, home décor or just good conversation.

I stopped into Re-​for your home a few weeks ago, and I was really impressed. My husband and I are slowly decorating the house we just purchased. We are big fans of used and antique furniture as we like the price and unique selection of items. The showroom is thoughtfully arranged, and you can tell the pieces on display have been intentionally selected — unlike some stores where rooms of furniture are stacked to the ceiling (I’m not knocking that approach, but I’m at a point in my life where I don’t want to do the work finding those quality items — I like it when shop owners do it for me!). The owners are very personable, and the furniture is priced fairly. I definitely recommend checking out this store.

So I moved to Denver about a month ago to start teaching at a local high school, and did not bring very much with me. Upon moving into a new house, I was in dire need of some new furniture. I passed by RE out of luck/​chance, and boy am I glad I did. Tara greeted my girlfriend and I at the door with a sincere smile, asking what exactly we were looking for. At that time, we weren’t really looking for much, just wanted to browse the shop to take a look at what she had done to re-​use/​re-​function different pieces of furniture. Tara’s got a great feel for unique interior design, and its clearly evident as you browse through her shop. Best of all, the prices are reasonable! I left after my quick trip through with some new bar stools, some outdoor patio furniture, and an awesome vintage leather bag.
I went back yesterday because I needed «something to store little things.» After not really finding anything that fit my needs on the showroom floor, she walked me back into her warehouse, where she rolled out a piece that was exactly what I was looking for. She also gave me some ideas of how I could modify the shelving unit to make it even more functional. Again, best of all, it was cheaper than going to Target and getting a boring bookshelf. I also left with a vintage laboratory stool with custom upholstery and a sweet vintage linen box-​lamp.
Hands-​down the best re-​use/​vintage/​consignment shop in town. Do yourself a favor… GET HERE!
