I stopped in because my chain was slipping and Ian immediately stopped what he was doing and threw my bike up on the rack to take a look. I bounced around the shop checking out the used bikes and Ian took time to answer my questions all while working on my bike. In 15 minutes he replaced a sprocket and I was on the road again — for just $ 10!

No idea about the bikes here but someone who works here was nice enough to push my car out of snow bank and if people like that work here then this is a great shop.

The dude there helped me like when i read the first passage of genesis… Quick and cheap like a hot dog at seven eleven. My stomach feels fine and my bycicle is purring like when i pet the kitten

I really love this shop. They always have a really nice selection of all the major bike categories; cruiser bikes, mountain bikes, cross over bikes and road bikes. Whoever purchases their bikes has good taste. When I need to have my bikes tuned, I take them to Randy’s. Ian was able to tackle a few problems with my cruiser and it runs like it is brand new. If you are searching for a bike, I would definitely stop by Randy’s Recycled Bikes. If you need a repair, drop your bike off with them; they have a very impressive turn around!

Would not recommend this place. I went in and purchased a Specialized Stump jumper from around the turn of the century for $ 200. I also purchased a lock and an extra set of wheels(city wheels) On the way home from the bike shop I had issues with both the front and back brakes. No problem I told myself, I will fix them when I get home. That wouldn’t work because the handle bar stem was stripped on the bike. I returned to the bike shop the following week and they put new tires on the bike and told me that was the problem with the brakes… they were rubbing against the tire. The brake pads were also replaced while I was at Randy’s for the second time. Short on time, I took a cab home so they left the front tire off the bike so I could more easily get it into a cab. The next day I go to blow up the tire, oops, they sold me a tube that had a hole in it: I was lucky enough my neighbor had an extra tube he sold me so we put it on and off I went: the back brakes squeaked and vibrated more than any bike I’ve been on. I called them down at Randy’s to inform them that they sold me a tube with a hole in it… no apology, nothing. Keep in mind this is the second time I left the shop with an inoperable bike. They also told me the brakes were squeaking because they are new. Disappointed, I headed to the local bike shop to replace the tube my neighbor gave me. The gentlemen there was nice enough to inform me that the brake pads were put on improperly, and also that the bike I purchased had an 8 gear shifter with a 5 gear cassette: this is just unethical… the bike can not function properly like this. I need a new wheel set so he can put an 8 gear cassette on the bike so it functions properly: In all, it will cost me over $ 225(used) to get the bike in proper working condition.

I would recommend this place in the greatest way possible. I was riding around downtown Denver and popped both my tires and luckily we were only a few blocks away from this place. I figured I’d have to spend a lot of money and wait and hour or more for them to fix my tires, but was I completely surprised. Not only did it take only ten minutes but to fix both my tires it was only $ 17. If you’re around this area the people here are extremely friendly and professional. I’m a big fan. Go here.
