History

Established in 2002.

Started working radon for a friend at Stapleton putting in radon mitigation systems. I slowly began doing installs in Summit County, Aspen, Eagle County, and Gilpin County. I have repaired many houses throughout the metro area. I have always succeeded in making the houses pass the EPA mandated standard of 4 pico cries per liter. I am usually well below that level. Interestingly, I can’t rate the work of Radon-​I-​Nator because Cliff didn’t do any work. He came out and looked over my system, basement, vent, etc. and thought all was working fine for now. He said I probably didn’t need to do anything right now, but that my old fan was probably going to go out soon. He’d never seen this model last this long (18 years!). He gave me some price ranges for the future and a card. Didn’t charge me a dime for the visit even though I offered to pay for his trip and troubles.
So, for being an honest, reputable radon contractor — I give them 4-​stars! Maybe when I actually get some work done by them, I will up it to 5-​stars!

Working with Cliff and his crew was so easy. Cliff was very informative and easy to speak to over the phone. Even though we had a SUPER tight timeline, and our house is on the top of a mountain in Conifer, he was able to work with us to get it done. My husband is in construction and had a very specific plan for how he wanted the system to work and where it should be located etc. He met with the team and the equipment and installation of the system exceeded even his expectations! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cliff and Radon-​I-​Nator to anyone who needs Radon mitigation.

I find myself reading Unilocal reviews so often, yet rarely taking the time to submit one. Today’s Radon-​I-​Nator service got me satisfied to the point that I wanted to spend the 3 minutes to let others know that I appreciated Cliff and Jay’s service. They were quick, professional and helpful. The small fee to paint the exterior piping is BEYOND worth it and goes a long way to get the system to blend into the house. Overall, I am very satisfied and he is a great value for the money compared to other places that I called.

We’re so glad we went with Cliff. Our radon level went from 9.8 to less than 0.4. We thought we had a sealed off crawl space and Cliff offered to come over with a scope to figure it out. In a few minutes, he determined we didn’t have a crawl space and that we were good to go on installing the system. I didn’t even notice the system was there since it was so subtle and blended so well with the house. We highly recommend him over other companies. We had a few other companies come over, but they clearly didn’t have as much experience as Cliff.

Our system dropped our basement radon levels from the 8’s to 0.9 using the same digital tester for comparison sake. Curious what the canister test will show. Overall quite pleased with final through roof installation. I wish there was a full sized see-​through sump cover rather than a small cut-​through piece of plexiglass to view sump since it has to be sealed for vacuum system to be effective.

We got off to a rough start but the boys came through and did an awesome job. Totally professional, quick, and well installed system. The rough start was due to Cliff and his new smart phone… That thing could launch the space shuttle.
Anyway, the team of guys did great and they deserve a 5 star rating even with the mix up in the morning. That’s how good they are.

Cliff came out to survey our 1959 house. By the time he was done we went from a sample of 12 (a number WAY too high for the pregnant couple buying our house) to a sample barely over 1. His crew was FAST and the pipes etc are clean, unobtrusive and much quieter than the system in our new house.
If you read the other reviews, you’ll see that Cliff is a trustworthy, HIGHLY knowledgable guy who tells it like it is. He also knows EVERYONE in the Denver area who can do high-​quality, reasonably-​priced work. Until we found Cliff, ALL of the plumbers, electricians, and handymen that we’d found through our realtor or Craigslist were late or no-​shows.
All of Cliff’s referrals were punctual, thorough, and reasonable.

Cliff & his team are awesome. They did the job that needed to be done at a great price & actually went above and beyond what they really needed to do. He painted the exhaust stacks, and helped fix and paint other pvc exhaust systems that were recently incorrectly assembled by my plumber.

Cliff at Radon-​i-​nator recently installed a mitigation system in our house – he did a really great job, the installation is clean, all the cuts are smooth and the pipe looks professional and unobtrusive. Sometimes radon systems can be a real eye-​sore but Cliff made sure it looks as good as it can possibly be, and he was super helpful about explaining all the ins and outs of what he was doing. Plus he was super reasonably priced! HIghly recommended if you need to get a system installed.

This is the kind of neighbor everyone needs in Denver. Preparing for my first winter here in Denver in my new house, I didn’t understand the intricacies of aeration of pipes and other cold weather mysteries.
So sure enough, when I went to turn on my sprinklers this spring… nothing happened. All I’m thinking is… «not good… how many thousands of dollars is this gonna cost».
I went up on Unilocal,and searched for some pipe services with the best rating, and the most affordable prices. Clifford at Radon-​I-​Nator fit that bill… and it was a fantastic experience.
He was over at my house in less than 20 minutes. Diagnosed and figured out exactly what the problem was, and went to the maze of a hardware store to find the exact pipe piece that was broken.
Some pipe glue, some soldering, and some fine tuning… before you knew it was back to perfect working order! Super thrilled! Another Unilocal Victory!
I did get to learn quite a bit about his company while chatting with him during the service call. I was thrilled to find out he’s a master horticulturist, handyman, electrical wiring genius, and any other project you can possibly dream up around the house.
