Expensive for average at best food, the service sucks also. Not even worth giving them another chance.

Great experience at the Quiznos Grille! Chipotle Cheesesteak & Chicken Parm are crowd pleasures! It is a brand new space in the heart of Denver and truly has great service and great food!

Not sure why my Italian sandwich was cold if the meat was cooked to order on a grill? Maybe they don’t use a grill to cook the meat and just put«grill» in the name. Also the bread was hard. Not worth the price.

If Quiznos is serious about actually having a fast casual concept that they think will return them to profitability… My question to management is: Are you positioning to be the McDonalds of sandwiches or a concept with ingrained higher-quality, with a strong set of reasons for people to revisit? 1. Hearth baked roll — translation: plain boring white roll with my turkey pesto provolone sandwich, nothing exciting, if anything, the same boring white bread you’d get at a Subway. No artisian-feeling flair, completely mediocre and uninspired. Even Subway has asiago cheese bread, I mean cmon, your bread choice is actually worse than something one could get at a lower priced competitor. Remember Spicy Pickle(sandwich shop), one of the reasons people were so fanatical about them was their amazing bread choice, take note. 2. Taste — the ginger sesame slaw, completely tasteless, except for a tiny hint of ginger, no cider vinegar /tangy taste, no spice, nothing. A completely unflattering portion of cabbage, which is essentially all you taste. Completely falls flat as a side item. The sandwich itself, does however taste mildly of pesto, but there’s nothing really inspiring about this sandwich, it seems like a test kitchen sandwich which should have failed quality control. This was a totally underwhelming culinary experience. It should be noted, if there was any house vinaigrette on this sandwich, I certainly couldn’t taste it. I suspect the quality of the pesto sauce was subpar, due to the lack of taste, I finished half my sandwich and just threw out the other half. 3. Price point — 2 dollars for the ginger sesame slaw seems an appropriate price, but 8 bucks for an unimaginative sandwich which is on par with subway feels like highway robbery. There is nothing premium at all about this sandwich, other than the price. Totally disappointing. If you’re giving people a monstrous bag of chips, as I saw some of my coworkers eating, why isn’t the cole slaw also in some over-abundant portion as well? 4. Competitors — if you’re going to try and play with the big boys in the fast-casual market, Chipotle, Mod Market, Smashburger, etc., you really need to step up your game, especially with the myriad of other sandwich-type concepts out there(Firehouse Subs, Panera Bread, Jimmy Johns, etc). Each of these concepts has awesome food, in a lot of cases, better than you could prepare at home. This sandwich is actually worse than I would prepare at home, so QG is striking out here on quality to value proposition in a very major way. It also matches the Quiznos mantra of ‘slap a sauce on it’ and people will eat it, another disappointing reality. Based on my experience, there are more things wrong with this concept than right, and it’s clear that the management must be trying to throw spaghetti at a wall, so hopefully they are taking note of what works and what doesn’t. In the near future, however, given what I have seen today, I will not be making a trip back to this concept/location. If this is what Quizno’s future is going to look like, I do not see a lot of bright spots for investors moving forward. Ideas to management: Start something different, I mean for gawd’s sake you started out the ‘toasted’ sandwich revolution, why isn’t this sandwich GRILLED if your concept is quiznos GRILL. I mean I’d even settle for the sandwich being toasted or grilled in a panini press, by default. You could incorporate all-natural ingredients(along the lines of Baja Fresh), unique flavors, give people a reason to visit this new concept. Perhaps one of your sandwiches has ghost pepper sauce or some bold ingredient that sets it apart from other sandwich chains. Tout the freshness of your ingredients, rather than today’s example of mass produced crap thrown on white bread. Move to remove sodium nitrite(known carcinogen) and other preservatives from all of your ingredients and tout that fact, no one else in the sandwich segment is doing that to my knowledge. You’ll notice that Panera is already moving this direction to remove preservatives and additives from their entire menu, why be behind the times with consumer desires & expectations. Chipotle has 64 ingredients in their menu, why not model this same kind of honesty and have a more wholesome approach to your concept /offerings. Dump the boring white roll, opt for whole grain by default(it’s healthier) or something more interesting(panini /flat bread/ciabatta/etc). Start offering a much stronger value proposition, if you offer a better sandwich, consumers will gladly pay 8 bucks for it(or more: see WhichWich). Don’t automatically assume people are going to love you just because they’ve heard of the Quiznos brand, because they won’t, especially if the sandwich /sides are boring and nothing special. Go back to the drawing board on the ginger slaw, it’s truly so mediocre you really need to zest this up, lemon peel, cider vinegar, some spice, something!

Awesome concept! I had the chicken parmigiano and it was super delicious! Loved the pesto, and they other new, fun ingredients in the menu. Also, loved the izze drinks on tap– such a nice change from soda machines. Didn’t even feel like your typical Quiznos… Totally excited to come back and try more!

I work right across the street, so was definitely excited to try this out. Simply put, the sandwiches are delicious! I tried the Chipotle Cheesesteak and it was amazing. The Chicken Parmigiana sandwich was delicious as well. Finally, the Maple BBQ Brisket sandwich was the best I have tried yet. My only complaint is the price point — it is a little high, but comparable to other locations in the vicinity. A combo option which comes with a small amount of the homemade potato chips and a drink would be a good idea. When you order the chips separately, they are huge and more than one person can eat. ½ sandwich options would go over well also. Overall, it is delicious and I will be continue going back.
