Awesome food, great service… Very authentic food. They have a ton of fresh seafood if your into that. They also have kids menu with chicken fingers, burgers, fries, taco being that sometimes you go out and eat based on shit your kids are into. They have something for everyone.

The food was good and service snappy. Nothing much to see out the windows other than some dirty auto shops but the atmosphere is nice enough for a place on Federal. I enjoyed my Breakfast Burrito and coffee. Cost less than $ 10.

We absolutely love this place. Not expensive, and absolutely delicious. The chile rellenos are crispy, cheesy and oh so good. Carne Asada is tender and flavorful. I’ve heard they have good steaks here, but haven’t tried them personally. I believe it, though for how lovingly they treat their carne Asada. Excellent customer service, family friendly, and a fun atmosphere. Put this one on your list!

I read the reviews before I came here. I just moved to Denver a few months ago and the word from some of the people I work with is that you don’t eat on Federal Blvd. After reading the reviews, I had to try it anyway. I got the shrimp in butter and garlic. I can’t remember what it was called on the menu. It was mentioned in another review. It was the best shrimp I have ever had. I loved every bite! The rice was fluffy and full of flavor. The beans were fantastic. They weren’t over cooked and had just enough seasoning. My friend got the crispy chili rellenos. They were absolutely great! They had a sauce on top of them and it was just like eating at his mom’s house(they are from Mexico). The tortillas are hand made and super warm when they come out. We asked for some mole to go and they were more than willing to let us have some. It is homemade and you can taste the love! We’ll be back!

If you like excessively loud Mexican music then this is the place for you. We had the Shrimp Vallarta, fried fish and a shrimp cocktail One of the Shrimps in the Shrimp Vallarta completely RAW as well as the bacon. Shrimp cocktail bland and the shrimp was not whole more like the bottom of the bowl pieces. Fried Fish was good but the oil used to fry must not have been very clean as the fish was very dark brown from frying. Truly though worst is that you cannot even have a conversation without yelling as the music is horribly LOUD!

If you enjoy authentic Mexican food, astounding service, and thirst quenching beverages, this restaurant can fulfill all 3 wishes. I was very impressed with the fresh food they provided, especially seafood. We tried multiple dishes, in which all exceeded my expectations, but the bacon wrapped shrimp holds a special place in my heart. Our waitress(Vanessa) was very attentive and gave immaculate recommendations. It is refreshing to come across a family that runs their own restaurant and still maintains high quality food. A must eat in Denver!

This is the most authentic Mexican place in Denver. It is small and in an area visited by local Mexicanos and this makes it feel like you took a drive to Vera Cruz. The service is outstanding. The food fresh. Home cooked no Sysco crap. We get the steak nachos and have never been disappointed. Today the salsa is just a perfect piquante! Also served a nice warm soup gratis. It’s one of the best kept secret(from us gringos) in Denver.

The food here is amazing and it is very fun when the mariachi band is playing. I’ve had the ceviche, chili rellenos, enchiladas, and flan. All were delicious. Also, last time I was in they brought everyone at my table free little cups of soup that were yummy.

This place is VERY good. The portions are huge too. My kids loved the big kids plate size. They both got bean burrito with substitution of rice for the fries. The horchata is pretty good too. They have Mariachi’s every Friday and Sunday. There are also healthier options on the menu too. The enchilada sauce I had was VERY good. I know what canned tastes like and this one was not canned. It was very good and freshly made. Can’t wait to try more.

I was pleasantly surprised upon our stop here today. First of all, it was mid-afternoon, restaurant’s dead time and this place was packed with Latinos. We were the only gringos in the joint, and my wife doesn’t really count as gringo being Brasilian. Service was very good with us being waited on or helped by a number of different waitstaff. The food was insanely good. The Mrs. go the fish and shrimp w/mojo de ajo(garlic butter sauce with the garlic slowly sauteed in the butter or oil for a long period of time) and I had the diablo shrimp which was fantastic as well. The wife’s fish was one of the better pieces of fish I’d had, surprising for a mid-level Mexican joint, and the diablo sauce had plenty of heat and flavor. Overall, this is a great joint with great food. Would love to go back and try some other menu items and margs.

Puerto Vallarta is my favorite! They have the best salsa, perfect beans and tons of dishes that are not typical to other Mexican spots. Lots of seafood. My bf and I have ordered many different dishes here and they all come out spot on. It’s like there is a super human chef there all the time.

hands down my favorite Mexican food spot. The breakfast burrito is cheap, delicious and huge. The tomatillo sauce on anything is instant awesome. The octopus ceviche is surprisingly not tough and yummy. Lots and lots of seafood dishes. The menu will take you forever to try.
