Not a hip or trendy cigar lounge, Prince Phillips is a place you can get a cigar(or other men’s items including hats and shaving supplies) and hang out with friends just shooting the breeze. There’s no tv and the radio is typically low so you better be prepared to make new friends when you enter the smoke ring. You can rent humidor space if you’d rather keep your stash here and I’ve seen a couple of guys bring whiskey out of their rented space for something to sip while they smoke. The regulars and staff are older which means they’ve seen it all and aren’t impressed by trends. Other smoke shops always seem to have younger guys coming in to try their first cigar but that doesn’t seem to happen here. You’re welcome to bring in your own sticks and join the smoke circle, it’s always a slow paced relaxing time.

The owner John is so friendly and helpful. I recomend coming to this store if you’re in the area. Everyone smoking here is friendly and welcoming too.

Purchased my first pipe here. The overall experience was great. Brian was very helpful and knowledgeable. The atmosphere in this place is comfortable and has historic feel to it, nice place to relax and grab a smoke. The prices are reasonable and the selection was good. I would also like to add their private stock tobacco selections are good and fresh. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This is, I think, the third location Prince Phillips has had in the past Decade. Great old school pipe and cigar store, complete with a very knowledgable and slightly crotchety owner. The selection is good, and the large humidor is stocked to the gills with cigars. This is a perfect location for anyone in the DTC area who can appreciate fine tobacco.
