OK here’s the deal while the food is good there is a huge problem getting the order correct! We went to the drive-​through or order was simple I had to get out of my vehicle go in because we were missing chicken tenders that I first discovered! I was prompted to check the order because he couldn’t get the drinks right before asking us to pull up and wait for five minutes. After getting home which was 28 minutes from the location I discovered that we were missing french fries and want to order red beans and rice in another order and they had shorted another order half a dozen butterfly shrimp. The chicken requested was to be mild but it brought tears to your eyes so I know because I’ve eaten at Popeyes in Texas what the level of heat should be. Not enough to give you indigestion? Insured it doesn’t matter how good the food is because some of it was good but if you can’t get the order right why are you in business you should just close the doors and the fact that in my want to order I found seven mistake it’s just scary and sad to think about just how poorly they are doing! It’s a travesty because here in Colorado we are short on good places to eat people like this should strive to get it right. The next time I go I will go inside and order I will dissect my entire order and make sure it is correct before leaving?! This is something I should not have to do since I am guessing everyone that works there is an adult and not mentally compromised!

So here we are giving them another chance.
Last time we were here they told us it would be 20 minutes for our order. And we asked for a discount for waiting and the crew member said basically, «not happening «
So we went to Church’s instead.
Please understand I’m all for equal opportunity but when you have to point to the pictures on the windows so they can understand what you want that’s when I’ve had enough.
We also ordered a mix of spicy and regular chicken and they didn’t even get that right.
So Good luck Popeye’s in Thornton we won’t be back EVER !!!

I was see bad reviews but just want try out myself, I love my foods & services, some time you see bad reviews come to the place is very good, some time you see good reviews you come to place is bad, thank you for have Popeyes, I will come back :)

I’ve been here well over a half a dozen times each and every time there have been mistakes on my order. On four different occasions I have requested and paid for extra biscuits when I’ve gotten home or to work is when I realize they are not in the order. As far as the quality of the chicken goes it is actually a four star meal but because of the incompetent staff they get no more than one star. Because of being ripped off several times we have decided not to go back to this particular restaurant. When we go out and about we will stop at other restaurants from Popeyes just not this one. Now I know what lousy, non-​caring management they have. Four months and no contact or addressing of my concerns about the theft of my money for paying for items I did not receive.

The food and the service is always good here, but the parking lot… Pot hole city… and I don’t mean one little one here and there. I m talking many and they are deep. They have a good thing going here. and I can imagine repaving a parking lot can be expensive… but it d be well worth it.

Very busy place. This is always a good sign when a place is a dump its empty. Ordered the family meal service was quick food was hot BUT they got my order wrong So I recommend this place BUT you must check your order before you leave.

This is the worst Popeyes ever! I waited 30 minutes to get my food and once I brought it home it was inedible. It tasted metal like, like the oil was dirty or the fryer was too dirty. Absolutely disgusting and the rice was uncooked in our red beans and rice. I tried to call and complain and no one answers!

This place was horrible. The shrimp and chicken I got was overcooked and dark brown. The corn was soggy and it was hard to even eat and the coleslaw had no taste what so ever. Needless to say I will not be going back. If you want good chicken Church’s all the way or even a meal from King Soopers.

As far as Popeye’s goes, this is the best location! The food is always top notch, cooked fresh, and my meals are always right. I have been coming to this location for 10+ years, and I live a good 20 minutes from it, and pretty close to another location but I come to this one because it’s that much better. Kudos to the owner!
The spicy tenders are awesome, and when you order a side of gravy to dip it in, you will think you are in fried chicken heaven (if there were such a paradise).
If you are near 84^th, this is the best food you will find; don’t look for something else just stop in here, you won’t regret it!

I have eaten at several Popeyes locations in the Denver Metro area and enjoy this one the most!!! Last night was the first night that Iv ever had a problem. I ordered $ 60 in food and my 16 piece chicken meal had no breasts and no wings in it. It was all thighs and legs. I called the Manager on duty at 8:30 PM and explained the situation. She was very apologetic and offered to make me fresh chicken breasts and have them waiting for me when I got there. That is exactly what she did!!! The Manager was a young thin Hispanic girl… and although I didn’t catch her name… she“s definitely what «all» eateries these days need… GOOD MANAGEMENT!!! Thank you Miss… You’re Popeyes is still my Favorite location, thanks to YOU!!!

I’m a fan of any Popeye’s Chicken, but normally the service is that of any fast food restaurant where they don’t give to flips about the fact that you’re there and mess up your order and then look at you like it’s your fault. Not the case at this place. The people who work there really want to make sure they have your order right and are super polite. I dig that. The manager on duty that evening really went out of her way to make sure our food was perfect. It was hot and obviously just cooked, was pleased with that as well. We’ll be back to visit this location whenever we want some chicken.
