Pink Fog Studios

I knew what kind of pictures I wanted for our wedding, so I spent hours
looking through online galleries hoping to find a great photographer within
our budget. I came across Pink Fog Studios site. Dave’s pictures looked
amazing but what really caught my eye was the way he described the style of
his work — modern, creative, yet classic. That was exactly what I was
looking for. I was excited to find out that he was available on our wedding
day, and after the first 3 minutes of our interview I was sold on Dave. He
was laid-​back, friendly, yet professional. He listened to me and asked a lot
of questions, was very straight-​forward which I really appreciated. He was
full of ideas and suggestions and did not try to sell me up.
Like all brides, I wanted my wedding pictures to be perfect, and being very
camera-​shy I convinced my fiancé to do an engagement shoot with Dave, mostly
so that we could get used to Dave and feel more relaxed in front of the
camera on our wedding day. We could not be happier with that decision! Not
only we had fun doing it, we also ended up with the most precious pictures
of the two of us. Dave was incredibly easy to work with. He gave us advice
on different locations, best time of the day for our pictures, clothing, and
helped us with the poses though out the shoot. Everyone who saw our pictures
was very impressed.
I felt relieved and no longer worried about the wedding pictures. Dave spent
a lot of time with me on the phone walking through each detail for our
ceremony and reception. On the day of the wedding Dave and Linda came early
and were already familiar with the hotel and the area around it. We had some
scheduling complications with the hotel, but they calmed me down and did not
seem frustrated by the fact that we had to switch rooms multiple times.
During the ceremony I felt too overwhelmed and nervous to notice anything,
but Dave captured all the precious moments that we will keep forever. I give
him a lot of credit for being so patient and attentive, especially because
half of our guests did not speak any English but were able to follow Dave’s
directions easily. When my new husband ‘accidentally’ smashed a piece of
cake in my face, Dave was the first one to run up to me with a napkin to
make sure that I am ready for the next shot.
When we came back from our honeymoon, the pictures were ready and they
looked amazing. We proudly show them off to all of our friends and family.
We could not be happier with Pink Fog Studios, Dave and Linda are an
outstanding team.

My husband and I were lucky enough to be able to get married in Maui, but we still wanted to have a reception at home for all of our friends and family. This meant we had to find 2 sets of vendors!
As soon as I had registered on
, I began getting vendor ads and offers in the mail. While they gave me a place to start, I’m the type of person who likes to research before I make a purchase. I want to hear what real people have experienced. This is how I found Pink Fog Studios and Dave Z. I liked what I heard, so I set up a time to sit and talk to Dave. Dave sat and listened to what we would like to have, told us when something would not be feasible, and offered alternatives that he had seen in other weddings. So, we signed a contract! Later we also decided to have engagement photos taken. While setting up the where and when, Dave tried to really understand what it was we were looking for. When the day came, my fiancé forget ALL of his outfits! I could have killed him, and while he was definitely put out, Dave was awesome about it! We made another appointment, and this time, I made sure we were both ready! Dave took us to a great location and we got to be models for a day. He took a bunch of pictures and was great about directing us. Our photographer in Maui was pleasant, but did not take the time to tell us to move an arm, fix my hair, kiss her cheek, look this away — things like that. He had a lot of cool ideas for spots, lighting, and poses.
When our reception day arrived, Dave was there early. We had a Tea Ceremony prior to our cocktail hour, and Dave made sure he had gotten each shot before moving on. The lighting was beautiful! During the family pictures, Dave was able to rearrange half-​listening aunts and uncles into position efficiently. We had a little extra time, and Dave seized each minute to take a few more shots. Dave was all over the room during the reception getting reactions, and was even on the floor at one point!
Dave and Linda are both quick to return emails and phone calls, and are true professionals. There was a mix-​up with our engagement prints, and Pink Fog fixed the problem quickly. Dave is definitely the type to tell you what he thinks and not mince words, so take advantage and ask his opinion.

Our family had a great photo session with the Pink Fog team, Dave and his wife Linda. Linda was very professional and arranged the best time for our four year old daughter to be in a cheerful mood. And the best of all, Dave’s photography brought out both the serious and the funniest expressions from our daughter Karina. Thank you Pink Fog!

We used Dave Z. for our engagement photos. When I contacted him, he was so enthusiastic about hearing my ideas for the session. Up to the day of of our shoot, Dave was very accomodating (we had to reschedule at one point). Finally, we had our engagement photography session on a sun filled Saturday morning all glammed up! Dave was full of creative ideas and we had a lot of fun. He kept worked with us until he was sure we had some great photos.
Overall, our experience with Dave Z. was unique! He is very enthusiastic about photography and his work, which is important because it shows he is passionate in what he does; and it shows through the photos he develops. We not only enjoyed our engagement shoot but we completely adore our photos.

the one thing you can take away from your wedding is the photography. my husband and i are so glad that we have amazing photos to last a lifetime thanks to pink fog.
we initially met with dave z and liked his style immediately. he made us feel comfortable and is constantly full of ideas. we went with an 8 hour package and added an extra 2 hours for a total of 10 hours. dave and his team from pink fog gave us so so so much more than those 10 hours. on the day of the wedding, they were not only on time, they were hours early. they visited the venue weeks prior to the wedding, planned these «set» shots, researched the best places for lighting, and communicated with the venue to make sure they were able to have the best photo session ever.
we ended up with TONS of pictures to choose from. at most weddings, people end up with a few favorites out of a few hundred, and the rest they can put in a box. in our case, every other picture was a favorite. and the best part of it all, pink fog gives you a high quality dvd of all your pictures, including the rights to them.
pink fog studios captured our fairytale wedding for us and they did it flawlessly. our wedding album will be a story to tell for generations to come…

We used Dave Z. at Pink Fog to do our wedding this August. I’m so pleased with the results. Our pictures came out looking great and the price was totally affordable.
We went with a 4 hour package which covered and unlimited number of photos of the ceremony, formals, some couples shots, and the reception. This package cost around $ 1000 and came with some additional perks. Primarily, we have the rights to our photos. All the pictures taken are put on a dvd and you can do with them what you wish. This dvd didn’t cost a cent extra like with some other photographers ($ 800 for the pictures of MY wedding!!!). We also got some free prints with this package.
Dave was a great photographer. He put us at ease and got some great shots. He really listened to what we wanted, but had no problems making suggestions when we were floundering (because he has photographed way more weddings than I have). Dave got a great mix of candids and posed pictures – even the candid-​looking posed photos were great.
Additionally, the prints ordering website was awesome. It had some great features like side-​by-​side comparison so you can decide what picture of you and your honey you like best. It also lets you save your cart so you can spend several days compiling your perfect wedding album.
I am so pleased with the service I got from Pink Fog. I would recommend Pink Fog to anyone getting married (or not) who needs some fun and beautiful photographs.
