DO NOT GO TO PEGGY SWANSON. I am not one to write a bad review but I feel a moral obligation to warn people against this scam artist. I was fairly new to Denver and after asking someone in my office where they had gone, I made an appointment for a cleaning. Dr. Swanson informed me that I had 8 cavities and needed to replace several of my current fillings. When I looked surprised she pulled out her camera and showed me on the TV screen where there was a tiny (and I mean tiny) black dot on each of my teeth. She explained this was a cavity and needed to be filled right away. Mind you, I had no pain, no discomfort, no sensitivity to hot/cold…NOTHING. Looking back, I should have ran for the hills or at least gotten a second opinion. I did not. Because Peggy recommended so much work, she had me come on two separate occasions. Turns out, all of this work hit my «maximum» insurance coverage for the year and I was out of pocket $ 2700. The worst part, while filling my two top back molars, she drilled a little deep and later had to have root canals. Not only was this painful but the whole ordeal has cost me over $ 5000. I later found out that another co-​worker visited her shortly after me and was told they had 9 cavities… haha. She should lose her license and someone should take a drill to her teeth. SCAMMER, PEGGY SWANSON, SHAME ON YOU. Oh, and the over the 3 times I visited her offices, I noticed that she had a 7 series BMW and a Range Rover. She pays for these by misdiagnosing her patients and billing them for services they don’t need.

I have had work done here before and everyone is very pleasant and kind, but the lack of office hours is as rotten as George Washington’s wooden teeth.
Sad to say I must sever my relationship with this dental office. Their schedule just doesn’t work for me since I travel a lot for work. There are no office hours on Friday or Saturday and that makes it impossible to schedule a visist for me since I’m out of town during the week days. Too bad.

I was referred to Dr Swanson by a friend who had been seeing her for 5 years. Despite my hectic schedule and a last second request amidst busy times for them, they went out of their way to see me. I was given much help and attention and all while being smiled at. As long as I am in Colorado I will use this office for dental work. Nate T. Appointment-​12/​10/​12

The least scary dental practice I’ve ever been to!
The office staff was fantastic– really friendly and insurance savy. In fact as I was leaving, the receptionist schooled me on my insurance– telling me how much I was covered and how to plan accordingly. I was floored! Above and beyond what I’ve experienced anywhere else.
I can’t say anything about the dentist, because I was just there for a cleaning. But the hygienist was awesome– she told me what I was doing wrong and right and didn’t make me suffer.

After reading a review of Dr. Peggy Swanson… on Unilocal,I decided to see her after putting off seeing a dentist for a couple of years. After all, who likes dentists? She was everything promised, and her office was clean, friendly, and in a good location. I’ve been very pleased so far, even after the difficulty of having fillings. The assistant held my hand and offered me a Teddy bear throughout the trauma, and the bill was very reasonable. Karen cleaned my teeth at my first visit, and she was gentle and friendly. Good feelin’s.

I had been putting off going to the dentist for a good 4 – 5 years, mainly because of fear. I found Dr. Swanson’s office through my insurance and couldn’t be more pleased with my experience.
The office staff is friendly and very welcoming. The hygienist was thorough and informative. Dr. Swanson is by far the best dentist I’ve ever been to see. We discussed each tooth, she showed me what was happening with a digital video camera and when it came time for the work to be done she was thorough, detailed and very gentle. All of my questions were answered and I feel a lot better about the state of my dental health. I wouldn’t go so far as to say I look forward to my next trip to the dentist, but with Dr. Swanson’s office I don’t feel so bad about going.
