History

Established in 2012.

Open Iris is family owned by George and Kim —

Before moving out to the beautiful Rocky Mountains, Kim was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Needless to say, this NoLa/​Mountain girl knows how to throw a party! She’s a perfectionist in making an event unique, memorable, and an out right blast for everyone. She has an extensive background in upper level national business management, client relations, project creation, and new and emerging technologies. Her personality and attention to detail make working with her a worry free and enjoyable experience for all of our clients.

George is a Colorado native, born and raised in Denver. He’s an expert in engineering entertainment technologies. Whether it’s still photography, video, audio, or graphic design, he’s done it! His projects range from live/​post sound for local bands to engineering «A» level events like the host TV broadcast for the alpine events in the 2010 Winter Olympics. He’s obsessive about quality and innovation in the industry

Business Owner

George is a tech geek to the extreme. Apart from owning and operating Open Iris alongside his wonderful wife, he also engineers many of the worlds most watched television events. He has an extensive background in audio, video, graphics, and photography. Not only does he know the tech stuff, he knows what it takes to go above and beyond the expectations of the client in all areas of the business.

When he’s not playing with some sort of new widget, he can usually be found somewhere in the Rocky Mountains with either his wife and dog (Hava) or flying down some powder runs with a big ol’ grin on his face!
