We had my mother’s 90th Bday celebration at Odyssey. It was amazing. They treated us like family. The food was all so delicious and service impeccable. In our family we will take our celebrations to Odyssey.

Had a late Friday night dinner while in Denver on business. Wonderful food and atmosphere! Owner/Chef personally came by our table to ask how our food and service were that evening. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing family run restaurant inside an old Victorian style house with friendly service, outstanding italian dishes, healthy portions and decent prices for fine dining. Moving from NJ where there are endless delicious italian restaurants, it’s not easy to find a place that can compare, however Odyssey stacks up. The restaurant has a romantic atmosphere, dark with candlelight and dried roses for décor. In the summer the patio under the twinkle light tree creates the perfect date spot. They even give the lady a rose as a parting gift for dining with them. I will continue to go back to try their specials and new dishes. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves italian and a good atmosphere.

Couldn’t ask for a better place to celebrate my anniversary! Service was great, friendly and quick. Complementary prosecco, too! Best Italian food I’ve had in a while. Got melon wrapped prosciutto, Caesar salad, lobster da frivolo, swordfish and bananas foster. Delicious!

The experience from the second we opened the door was exceptional. The environment is swanky and classy and warm. The service is fit for a noble king. Mario, our server, was just great. He gave many great suggestions and ultimately made our meal awesome. We WILL tell others about this great restaurant and we will be back with them. Stop thinking about it and go. You will be pleased start to finish. I suggest the Mellon prosciutto appetizer… Amazing.

This is my favorite restaurant in Colorado. I sometimes try to recommend dishes for those who read my reviews, but honestly I have not had a single entrée I did not love from here. For dessert, however, get the banana’s foster. It is a delicious flambé that is prepared in front of your table. The atmosphere is intimate and romantic, and so is perfect for date night. The service always amazes me; the waiters/waitresses are always attentive and knowledgeable. If you come here, then prepare to have an astonishing time!

The Odyssey was nothing short of an amazing dining experience… if I could give more stars, I would! Even before we arrived it exceeded every expectation! One of our hosts Michele’ or «Mike» called a day ot two in advance to welcome us and ensure we knew they provided valet service for our car. He is a really friendly and great guy whose father is both chef and owner of the restaurant. Attending to our cozy corner table was Jessica. She was also delightful and entertaining throughout our meal. She was very familiar with the menu and made a number of great meal and wine suggestions and provided superior service all night. As we enjoyed cocktails, then our wine, we were served delicious fresh bread to dip in a dish covered with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and loaded with fresh garlic. Mmmmmm. Our entrees were swordfish, and lobster tail over a spicy pasta. Both prepared nicely. Each came with a dinner ceasar salad Again, the food was cooked to perfection, served at just the right time and always with Jessica ensuring we were happy with every portion of meal. We shared a nicely proportioned tiramisu dessert, again, delicious! Other diners enjoyed banana foster flamed tables idea that I have to try next time. To cap off the night, we were treated to a tour of the historic building which was filled with fun dining nooks on several levels. and we met Ignazio Mulei, the chef and deservedly proud owner of the Cucina Siciliana Odyssey. Well done!!! … We shall return and to anyone looking for an authentic Sicilian dining experience, you will not be disappointed here!

The best Italian food in Denver, as voted by real Italians. I was referred to this great little establishment by a coworker and we will definitely be back. The owner and his son welcomed us(and every guest) at the door. We were seated right away with our reservations and were immediately waited on hand and foot. The wine and appetizers were great to get us started. We enjoyed the fried calamari(some of the best I’ve had) and the chief’s tasting board with lots of meats, peppers, cheese, tomatoes and even grapes. Our food came out quickly and by the end we were so full we unfortunate didn’t have room for dessert — even though we had seen and wanted the bananas foster. We will have to come back for that very soon.

This place is in a cute house and the wait staff is very friendly. We had the penne rustica w/chicken and sausage and the Penne Bolognese w/ricotta and a glass of the banfi chianti classico. The food was good but I have to admit it was more Americana Italian than true Italian. The prices were steep with each dish being $ 18.00. Still we thought it was cute and romantic. We got a complimentary mini bottle of prosecco as a parting gift which was sweet.

My friends and I came here for my birthday dinner at 730 pm on a Sat night after our original plan fell through. I could not be more happy to have my plans changed! The staff was unreal in how accommodating they were, I truly felt like a celebrity or something! We walked out of there happy, laughing, full on delicious food and so very pleased with our dining experience. We met the father and son that run the establishment and you can really tell they love what they do and take pride in it. They gave me a rose, and small bottle of proseco as gifts and made me feel very special. To top the whole thing off, they included the most amazing table-side flambayed dessert for free for the whole table! I am truly impressed with the hospitality, great food and love this family puts into this restaurant. Support local small businesses! Dine here, you will not regret it! Also, if you notice, there is one very negative review of this restaurant. However, none of the others really are at all. I’m not sure what happened to that one lady, but I’d bet it was a fluke or something because this place is really fantastic! Maybe she was having a bad day. Lol :)

We were celebrating our first anniversary and Odyssey came highly recommended. We were placed in the«carriage house» in a little corner booth and told it was the most romantic table in the house. It took the server about 5 minutes to get to our table for drink orders. We ordered two appetizers, the one called Sicilian Rice Balls was good, the fried tracking ravioli was mediocre at best. Our salads were great. My husband enjoyed his penne rustica, but I found the eggplant rollitini bland. We had bananas foster made tableside, and it was neat to watch. It was pretty good as far as flavor. Unfortunately the pan and burner were left next to our table and did not smell good after our server was done. At the end of the meal we were given the wrong check. The server caught it and charged the correct amount to our card. Overall, not the best Italian I’ve ever had, we will not likely return.

Wow! The best word I can use to describe everything about this restaurant! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted warmly by happy employees. The décor and atmosphere of this restaurant is gorgeous. We had a seat right by the window and I felt like it was a scene out of a movie. Fresh flowers on every table. Service was exceptional, everyone was accommodating and happy to recommend their favorite dishes. I opted for a chicken Parmesan with Alfredo sauce as opposed to marinara. To die for! The best Italian dish I have ever eaten. Not to mention, the vegetables on the dish were the best veggies I have ever had, and I am not a vegetable fan. I can’t wait to visit Denver again so that we can return to this establishment. Thank you for the hospitality! You made our trip wonderful!

This place is truly breathtaking. Specializing in veal and lobster they offer mouthwatering dishes that will keep you asking for more! The moment you step into restaurant you are immediately taken into another world. A small original Colorado home that has been converted into a little piece of Italy itself. This place is amazing! I had the opportunity to try several dishes however the sword fish as well as Lobster Diablo were something that was truly special. Offering a unique taste that I have yet to find at any other restaurant. For dessert the table side banana foster is something from heaven. There are simply no words to describe it and is something you must try for yourself. I can promise you won’t be sorry! Highly recommended! however parking sucks(hope you can parallel)

I love this place… seriously I’ve had such wonderful service and food here that I find myself in here as much as I can. The food is legit authentic Italiano/Sicilian cuisine from recipes that the family has held on to for many years. All the dishes and the wines I’ve had here really embody a very deep wonderful flavor. The service is really spot on, they keep you fed and keep your glass full of delicious vino. There’s really something to be said about how much better food is when you can taste the passion of culinary and ingredients. I’ve straight up cleaned my plate each time I come in here and I can’t wait to visit again. If you love Italian food, you will love this place it is bellissimo!!!

My favorite restaurant. Everything ive had here is fantastic. The service is fantastic. Get treated like family every time I come in. I think my favorite pasta so far was the bowtie gorgonzola with sundried tomatoes. That sauce is unbelievable. I created a Unilocal account just to review this place. That should say plenty.

This place is too cute! The restaurant looks like it’s in an old home so the place is very cozy, warm & inviting. It’s a multi-level restaurant with ambient soft lighting, candles, fresh roses on the table, rose petals @ the entrance-way & oldies music like Sinatra. I was excited to hear a song about SF come on during the first 5 minutes I was seated. Wine menu is fairly priced(around $ 9 – 12 per glass) & the waitress was very informative & helpful about the menu selection. I was eyeing the veal with potatoes & spinach special + the diablo spicy lobster spaghetti special. I tend to order whatever is on the specials menu if they offer one. I was excited when the waitress came to my table & suggested the exact 2 things I was eyeing. So naturally, those were the two dishes I tried. Prior to the entrée, I had the delicious, freshly baked bread with parmesan cheese with a side of garlic, balsamic vinegar + olive oil dip. The bread was delicious & I couldn’t help but have two servings of it. The entrée came with a nice caesar salad that tasted like it had homemade dressing. It also came with olives which is a nice twist to the traditional caesar. The veal came with prosciutto and some spinach that was cooked in white wine. The lobster pasta dish had tons of whole pieces of lobster meat & it had slices of pepper in it. It definitely packed some good heat. With the ambient lighting & roses everywhere, it is hard to imagine this place as anything else but a date-night romantic-type restaurant. Servers were great & friendly. I didn’t get to try dessert but I’d love to come back to try their banana flambé dessert that they flambé table side.

I have been here 3 times, and each time seems to get better and better. This old house turned restaurant is charming and quaint, without feeling crowded. They have a very nice patio, cute little bar, and tons of atmosphere! The staff is the most personable and friendly I have ever seen. They greet you, seat you and make you feel at home. They try to accommodate your every need, so if you want something, just ask! They are incredible at going that extra mile! As if all that wasn’t enough, there’s the food! Every I’ve had has been incredible, and if you see something you may want, ask for a taste! Especially their meatballs or Bolognese! They want you to be happy and full, so they make sure you leave well satisfied! I can’t accurately put into words the experience, you just have to go!

I returned to the Odyssey last night for the second time, as it is one of my friend’s go-to restaurant each Monday for«Pasta Mondays.» Every Monday, the Odyssey offers their pasta dishes for $ 8.95, which is a screamin’ deal. We were warmly greeted when we walked in and spoke with Mike, one of the owners, and sat down outside. The patio was nice and would be great for a romantic date. We ordered a bottle of Chianti from Tuscany(I believe), which was tasty. I forgot our server’s name, but he was attentive and brought us many plates of bread and the olive oil/balsamic/rosemary mix to dip the bread in. We also ordered calamari to start, which was lightly breaded, delicious, and had subtle hints of lemon in the breading(prior to squeezing the lemon over the dish). With each pasta dish, you get a small Caesar salad to start. It’s the perfect amount to have prior to your next course. For my main, I had the pesto tortellini with chicken. YUM! The pesto is creamy and filling, while not leaving you feeling couch-borne after eating it. The tortellini was stuffed with ricotta and was soooooo goood. At the end of our meal, Mike surprised us with some gifts to take home. We also met Ignacio before we left and checked out the upstairs. The entire time I was at the Odyssey I felt like family. This is true and great customer service. When you leave a restaurant beaming with a grin from ear to ear, you know you have been to not just a good restaurant, but a place where you are truly valued as a customer and new friend. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who likes good Italian food and being treated warmly by such gracious hosts ;) I will hopefully be returning in a week or two for pasta Mondays. As per my Italian and East Coast friends(who know good Italian), the Odyssey is the most authentic they have had in Denver AND you get warm Italian service, too.

After the Broncos vs. Vikings game we decided to try the Odyssey. Partly to avoid traffic on our drive back to the hotel and because it looked very promising from Unilocal reviews. We are very glad we stopped in. They do not have parking but we found a space on the street about a block away. At the entrance we were greeted warmly by the owner Ignacio. Our server Jessie was very enthusiastic in her wine recommendation and it was spot on. The bread they give you is served with a plate that has olive oil, balsamic, herbs and fresh garlic on it. Quite tasty with the bread. The bread is New Orleans style with a light, dry and airy consistency so perfect for the olive oil mixture. My husband and brother both had the spaghetti and meatballs and Jessie suggested the children’s portion(no salad). It was a large portion with 2 very large meatballs. They both enjoyed it. Sometimes you just want comfort food and that is why I ordered bowtie pasta gorgonzola and added shrimp. Nice sauce and the sundried tomatoes added a little pop. The small salad that accompanied my dinner had lettuce, olives and shaved parmesan with a light caesar dressing. Just enough. Because of a mixup over our appetizer Jessie offered free dessert and we tried the tiramisu. It was quite good and the plate was dusted with a hint of cinnamon(?). We will definitely return the next time we are in Denver. They have a nice fireplace that adds ambiance.
