Description

Specialties

Nola Voodoo Tavern is an authentic New Orleans bar/restaurant owned by Henry, originally from New Orleans. He offers his family’s original recipes from the French Quarter, such as his Grandma’s Étouffée and his Mother’s Gumbowhile also serving Hurricanes and a full bar! Great Southern style home cooking and service make this place what it is today!

History

Established in 2015.

Henry opened his first eatery in New Orleans in 1985. After a successful run in the French Quarter, Henry picked up and moved to Colorado to enjoy the mountains. After a decade of working in food and liquor sales in Denver he became tired of constantly searching for authentic creole food from the Bayou. Henry finally cut the cord and opened his own traditional New Orleans style bar/restaurant. Come down to Nola Voodoo Tavern and save yourself a trip to New Orleans!

Meet the Business Owner

Henry B.

Business Owner

Henry comes from a long line of original New Orleans inhabitants. He has been in the liquor and food sales business for the past 10 years in Denver, always craving original style creole food from home. After learning so much from his clients, he finally decided to open his own unique bar serving the food he was raised on as a child. His recipes are derived from generations of family get-togethers in the «Big Easy». Serving his grandma’s Étouffée and his Mother’s Gumbo, his recipes are a great addition to the Cole Neighborhood. There is nothing close to this style of food in the area. With welcoming staff and a great «French Quarter» feel of the place, comfort is second to none to the southern feel of fresh quality creole food. Why drive to the bayou when you can come here and satisfy your craving for good food, good friends, good drinks and good times.
