Denver dentist Dr. Neil Dobro is a prosthodontist — a specialist in the field of reconstructive dentistry, which includes dental implants, esthetic dentistry, fixed bridges and how they relate to gum problems. With more than 30 years in clinical practice, Dr. Dobro is one of only a few prosthodontists in Colorado who both place and restore dental implants. As a prosthodontist at New Image Dental Implant Center in Cherry Creek, he uses his experience and skill to restore beautiful smiles for his patients.

Education

Dr. Neil Dobro studied at the School of Dental Medicine at Tufts University, earning his dental degree in 1974. He furthered his studies at the University of Chicago where he completed a General Practice Residency in 1975. He then went on to earn a specialty degree in Prosthodontics at the University of Illinois in 1977. The emphasis of his studies was esthetic and reconstructive dentistry, and periodontal disease.

While completing his advanced studies, Dr. Dobro taught dental students at the University of Illinois as an Associate Professor in Fixed Prosthodontics. He held the same position at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry when he moved to Denver in 1977.
