Namaste International Grocery

This little market specializes in Indian groceries as well as items you might find in a really hip convenience store. Lots of imported grains and, for those of us who like to cook our curry at home, a bevy of heavenly spices can be found at quite reasonable prices. The imported frozen foods can be rather pricey, but well worth it just for the joy of roaming the aisles of this wonderland of yummies interspersed with gorgeous cookware, Hindu and Buddhist ornamentation and all kinds of necessaries for those of us who won’t set foot in a 7 – 11. We had our 2^nd shopping trip there today and we really want this market to succeed and be available to us Hill dwellers for years to come.
It is really on Marion Street, just around the corner from The Irish Snug… and a quick trot from the Marion Street Post Office.
