Amazing moving company and movers with a free and accurate estimate! We moved from a 3-​story townhome and into a 3-​story house. We thought it could be done in a few hours — 4 maybe? Some moving companies did an estimate over the phone for half the price that Movemasters quoted us by seeing our home in person. If we would have used others, we would have been in for a sad surprise at the end of the day. Movemasters told us up front they will not underestimate to get your business, but rather, they would try to do it in less time but prepare you for the worst. They did exactly that and they were cheaper than the other companies would have turned out to be.
Chris and his team of 5 were unbelievable! They were polite, helpful, friendly and when they were loading and unloading boxes they were running! Yes, RUNNING!!! Up and down the stairs. They put all the boxes into the correct rooms. Boxes I packed that I could hardly lift, well they carried 2 of them at once. They brought me wardrobe boxes so I could pack up my closets without taking stuff off the hangers, and then they put the boxes right into my new closets. They treated both of my homes and all my boxes with so much respect and care. I have an antique Chinese table that I was so nervous about, and they took such great care of making sure it was handled especially delicately.
Moving can be a nightmare and so stressful. I felt so much pressure to choose the right company as I didn’t want anything to go wrong. Movemasters was the best decision I could have made! From the in-​home estimate, to the call afterwards to see how it went, Movemasters was one of the best companies I have ever worked with.

Did a great job on a difficult move (moving out of a townhouse with lots of steps and tight stairwells. Finished quicker than estimated, no damage to anything. Great experience

After having a terrible experience with our previous movers, Movemasters was the answer to a prayer. They arrived on time, performed the work diligently and quickly, and came in under the quote. Great team, professional and friendly. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I would give 5+ stars to the men who actually did the moving job (Robert and Christian). They were thorough, professional, and fast while treating my household goods with the utmost care. They were thoughtful and seemed to care greatly about doing a quality job.
Tim and Dan the owners/​managers are also nice, friendly and very helpful.
I would definitely use them again and refer them to others.
However…
They provide a disclaimer when they provide the estimate:
This company has a strict policy of providing realistic to liberal estimates, and not to underestimate time or labor for the purpose of securing work. If move can be completed in less time than estimated you are only charged for actual time.
Unfortunately, I firmly believe this is an inaccurate statement. I made the same move before and it took 4 men longer than what Movemasters provided in the estimate for 2 men. The other company was also a 5 Star company, so I knew the Movemaster estimate was not accurate.
You should definitely budget at least 1 ½ to 2 times greater than what is estimated.

Tim and the people at MoveMasters are exceptional. Be it a small move or receiving and delivering a whole house of designer furniture they handle your things like it was their own stuff. Something of a rarity, they also don’t waste time or effort by not thinking things completely through when staging a move. They are efficient with their time and effort and conscientious with your moving expense. Super rating!

I’ve moved 4 times with Move Masters. My most recent move with them was in Nov. 2012. I was pleased with their service each time. They are prompt, employ good people, and have very reasonable rates.
