Specialties
MockSides Studios provides actor training and production service for the TV/Film professional. With a combined 40 years of experience on the TV/Film industry, our coaches prepare their actors in audition training, on-set experience, quick line memorization, scene analysis, professional on-set protocols, and marketing strategies.
We produce about 20 — 30 short films for our advanced students and provide other video services. All scene work is custom-written for the students by the authors of the internationally known online actor resource, www.mocksides.com which provides specific challenges for each actor. No other acting studio in Denver does what we do.
History
Established in 2008.
In 2008, Casting Directors, David Dalton & Chad Schnackel, opened their studios with a vision of raising the standards of professionalism within the local film community by providing the type of training one cold only receive in major markets, like Los Angeles or New York. In 2010, they produced their first instructional DVD, «How to Memorize Lines Fast using S.M.T.». They promised their students they would only work with original scripted material for their class work. Since then, they have written over 600 scenes, which are now published on their MockSides websites, which have earned them notoriety with film professionals across the globe.
