History

Established in 1974.

In 1974, Mike McDivitt started what eventually became McDivitt Law Firm, and soon after he was joined by his wife Karen. The firm is rooted in the principal that each person deserves to have equal access to the civil justice system. Mike and Karen firmly believe that everyone should be able to have an attorney, whether you can afford one or not. Mike made it clear from the start that he doesn’t get a fee unless he is able to get you the money you deserve for your injuries. And that promise holds true today.

Over the past several decades, the firm has become one of the largest Personal Injury law firms in Colorado. It is still family-​owned, but now Mike and Karen McDivitt are able to provide quality legal representation to thousands more clients than they could when they first opened their doors.
