I’ve been looking for my local mechanic for the past 3 years I’ve lived in Denver and I’ve finally found the guys! I can not speak highly enough. Personally as a local business owner myself I can’t stand these reviews, but when a business deserves a pat on the back, here ya go. I called to set up an appointment for an oil change, brakes, tire rotation, and an problem with my steering. Honestly thought I was going to spend hundreds of dollars. They set me up the same day, had my car done in less than an hour. From previous mechanics I was told my brakes were bad, not the case apparently. Same with the steering problem. Nope just a loose bolt. I went from hundreds of dollars to a mere $ 45. I will definitely tell my friends about Maple Garage and am happy I found my local mechanics!

Established in 2007.

We started with one guy turning wrenches and answering the phones in 2007. After growing that business and adding two full time technicians, this downtown (134 S. Broadway) location was opened in 2010 with a total of 16 bays.

Easy to deal with and didn’t try to up sell me when I needed to get a new battery. Wouldn’t say it was the cheapest I’ve ever had, but I would go back for other general auto issues.

They are great. Never feel like I’m being upsold. Problems are fixed and at a very reasonable price. They have always come through for me and have been there several times to help in a pinch. I once took my car there after having just got into a fender bender and they popped out my front bumper at no charge to make my vehicle functional and drive-​able. It’s hard to find mechanics that you KNOW you can trust. I have no doubt I can trust these guys.

Brought me car in to have the oil changed & tires filled. Everything went well, and the mechanic stated he would give me the Unilocal discount price– but from the guy in front of me, made it sound like the price has gone up a bit. He advised me that my alternator belt needs to be replaced soon along with 2 other things– and soon. The other two were correct– but when my car died, and I called «My Mechanic» to come replace it– assuming that would be the case, they notified me-​via e-​mail– that replacing 1 shouldn’t be done– since both belts had to be removed & its best to do both at the same time. After some researching– I found this to be correct & scheduled the visit. When he came out & pulled off the cover, he showed me that both belts looked fine… But that my battery wasn’t strong enough to start the car, even though the lights were coming on. After jumping the car, he sent me to O’Reilly to get the battery replaced.
They did not check power steering & provided incorrect information. Did not check battery power. It is unclear if anything else had been missed.
I will not be returning here. They cost me an extra $ 70 in diagnostic check to find out something they should have been able to tell me with a routine battery check that I’ve had previous shops do while changing the oil.

I came in to Maple Garage to get my washer fluid pump replaced. The guy working the front told me that I had to get it inspected first before he could determine if it needed to be replaced or repaired. The useless inspection costed $ 55.00! And he effectively did nothing except tell me that I was right in that I needed it to be replaced. The cost of the labor ($ 55.00) and new part ($ 50.00) was about $ 105.00 total which was justified. What was not justified was the useless inspection ($ 55.00) that did nothing except tell me what I already knew! So I ended up paying $ 160.00 (not including tax). I definitely overpaid!
And it doesn’t end there. To add insult to injury, when I went in my car to test the new washer fluid pump, one of the nozzles wasn’t even spraying properly! It sprayed out like 2 inches. Did the mechanic even check the quality of his work? Apparently not! It turned out that there were particles clogging the nozzle that needed to be flushed out.
And then I leave to go home and after driving for 20 minutes, the engine light turns on! I had to drive back to Maple Garage to get them to fix the issue that caused the engine light to turn on. It turned out a fuse was blown due to a poor electrical connection they made in the in the replacement process.
If you’re going to overcharge me then at least give me quality service.
Very disappointed to have experienced this poor service from Maple Garage. My first experience with them was great! Not sure if I’ll come back to Maple Garage.

Wow! Maple Garage is by far the best shop i have EVER been to. I’ve brought my car in on two different occasions, and Greg has been amazing to work with. They are kind, and they are understanding. Greg really took his time to explain to me everything that was going on in my car and i really appreciate that honesty. I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone! Hopefully i will not have a reason to go back to Maple Garage for awhile but if i do, i know i can trust Greg and the boys at the garage!

As a transplant, finding a reliable, honest and talented auto mechanic is not easy. A friend suggested Maple to me for an oil change– not a huge repair or anything, but the service i received was excellent. They inspected my vehicle and gave me a thorough report of how it was running, what repairs I should expect in the future, as well as quotes. Most garages won’t even look at anything but what they are fixing, so I was surprised and so happy to know that my old little Subaru is running just fine! This place is a go-​to for me!

Walked in without an appointment for an oil change and they took me right away. Changed my oil in a timely manner and gave me great advice with other services I should think about as some of my parts needed to be updated. They didn’t not make me feel pressured to purchase any service or products. Will be going here for my tires and my future oil changes and repairs!

I have never been disappointed by the service that I receive at Maple Garage. Everyone who works there is completely professional and very knowledgable. They always seem to go above and beyond to insure their customers’ satisfaction. Their pricing is reasonable and they have never tried to upsell me in any way. This is my go to garage in Denver and I would definitely recommend them!

Maple Garage has cared for two cars of mine for the past 5 – 6 years, and even helped my buy my current car. Luckily for all of us, I tend to own old cars, so we get to see each other quite often. Been there the past year and havent missed a single oil change with them. Today i see it was busier then normal, took about 4 calls the whole morning to finally get help to make an appt which i understand, but eventually the guy was able to take me off hold. It took some time to try to make an appt because i dont work m-​f 10 – 7 and can only make it before my work or during break which i mentioned to the guy… He got fustrated and thought i was playing with him when i couldnt make his opening times… No, i actually work during thier business hrs and can only make certain times. He also btw scoff at me when i said i couldnt make certain times… Ended the call by letting him know im going to a different location now. He jus lost a customer.

Chose Maple Garage for an oil change and cabin air filter change after seeing reviews on Unilocal.The oil change was quick, but they took a while to find the part/​replace the cabin air filter. I arrived at 9:30am (with an appointment) and didn’t leave until 12:30pm — 3 hours total of waiting. If I had to work that day, this wait time would not have been feasible.
The other issue that drops this review to 3 stars — the mechanic must have had oil/​dirt on his hand when he was in my car because I found a small stain on my cloth passenger seat after my visit. (My guess is that he put his hand on the seat when pushing the passenger seat back to clean the floor.)
The prices and customer service were wonderful, though, and for those, I may return for my next oil change. If I have other issues, I may consider a different place or dropping my car off to avoid waiting a long time again.
Recommendation — Call ahead and make an appointment if you plan to get your car serviced here!

I had a great experience at Maple Garage and will definitely go back. I went in to get my oil changed; they had a coupon on Unilocal that made it a super reasonable price.
They gave me a few recommendations, one of which was replacing my air filter. They didn’t have the filter on hand so I came back a few hours later and they changed it out immediately.
They’re more expensive than most shops for alignments, but I do think you get WAY higher quality service here, which can be worth it.
I intend on continuing to go here and hope it always stays this kind/​honest!

I would highly recommend taking your car to Maple Garage! I live a few blocks away from this shop and based off of Unilocal reviews I decided to check them out. SO HAPPY I DID! They always seem so honest and don’t try to scam you. Their website had a special for a $ 25 oil change and tire rotation so I have done that a few times (what a deal!). Each time they changed my oil they talked to me about the status of my car and just gave me a heads up of repairs that might need to checked out in the future, but no pressure to pay or do anything right away. I have also taken my car to Maple for estimates or issues with my car and they take the time to explain what’s going and relate to you on a different level than most other auto shops I’ve been to. Dealing with car problems is never fun, but Maple has staff that I can trust to get the problems solved efficiently and correctly.

These guys have been great to me since I walked in with a Groupon well over a year ago. Fortunately I haven’t needed major service to my car — yet, but my routine maintenance is always affordable and quick, and they’re always willing to go an extra step. I even bought windshield wipers from them and they installed them and put the RainX window cleaner stuff I bought on my windshield for me. Totally unnecessary, very appreciated.
They’ll get my business when I need more major repairs, for sure.

I really have nothing but awesome things to say about Maple Garage. When a local shop on a busy intersection not only happily helps you with your tire, but does it within an hour, as well — you know you’ve found the spot for you.
Having made an appointment for my first visit, the process was as smooth as butter. So, when I managed to puncture a tire just a day later (literally…a day later. I really shouldn’t be allowed to drive) I walked in unannounced thinking they would whip me for not having made an appointment. I had a feeling they preferred call-​ahead visitors; however they were just as accommodating as the first visit and just as quick.
If want to go the local, family operated business for your vehicle needs, and skip all the steps that corporate chains make you take, I say ‘yay’ to Maple garage!
