I love the opportunity to share the Aloha Spirit through song and dance. I have been dancing ever since I was 16 years old I have Professionally performed at countless venues throughout Denver and the surrounding areas since 1994 and after starting this group, I realized that the opportunities brought through teaching and performing are remarkable. With Manea Porinesia I have been determined to remain true to the Polynesian culture, integrating traditional form and music with contemporary Polynesian choreography. Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Aloha, My name is Simone Steele founder of Manea Porinesia. My journey began years ago when I ventured to the United States from the culturally rich land of Brazil. I’ve begin to learn with an amazing well Known Group in Denver The Sumeo’s Family I couldn’t even speak English at that time, but Sounds of the Toere (Tahitian Drum) captured my heart Imaging trying to move your hips without knowing what the teacher is saying, But with my love and dedication I’ve became well know as a strong Tahitian Dance in Denver. The truth is that the Polynesian Music and the wonderful Culture just took over me. Polynesian Dance became my passion.
