Established in 2011.

Lightbox Leadership was founded by Derek Lauber and Sara Hawerlander in 2011 when they saw a definitive need to help small business owners and entrepreneurs who wanted to increase their profit, create a better culture and improve their business by developing their leadership and management effectiveness.

Energetic, honest and to-​the-​point consultant Derek Lauber is a successful, trusted coach to small business owners and entrepreneurs. For over 7 years he has helped his clients create breakthrough results and profits by maximizing their leadership potential, fully leveraging their employees’ talents and dramatically increasing their productivity and performance.

He is an entrepreneur and has been a part of two successful startups and worked in and with small businesses his entire career. He knows and understands the daily challenges and struggles small business owners and entrepreneurs face.

Derek has a passion for helping small business owners and entrepreneurs, it is what he does best, and it makes him very, very happy to see someone achieve success (and all that comes with it) as a result of the help he gives them.
