Katelyn Simkins is a freelance makeup artist based out of Denver, Colorado. From natural to outlandish, Katelyn prides herself on creating a cutting edge look to flatter each unique face. Katelyn is a creative and accomplished artist with experience in many different aspects of makeup, including (but not limited to): print, runway, bridal, TV & film.

Katelyn has had the prestigious honor of being twice nominated for a NAHA award for Makeup Artist of the Year (2010, 2011). Furthermore, in 2009 she won 303 Magazine’s Makeup Artist of the year, and was featured in Allure Magazine’s January 2010 list of «Makeover Masters». Katelyn did the make-​up for my wedding party. There were 7 people including myself and it was a morning wedding. She was very professional, traveled to my hotel room to do the job and was exactly on time. She asked me how I liked my make-​up (in terms of heaviness of coverage) and did exactly what I liked. I showed her a picture with a vague idea of what I liked and she extrapolated to make the look perfect for me. My make-​up was flawless through tears and sweat (it was an outdoor wedding) all day long. She was sweet and all of my bridesmaids and mothers (mom and mom-​in-​law) loved her an the make-​up she did.
I would absolutely recommend Katelyn for any make-​up job that you would like to have done. She is professional, prompt, and her work is absolutely beautiful.
