Juan’s Super Pollo

My wife and I didn’t feel like cooking dinner or cleaning dishes for the night, so we decided to try this new place. We bought the $ 14.99 meal that comes with a whole chicken, rice, beans, and potato salad. Everything was great, especially the chicken, which was filled with flavor. The service was quick as well. I’ll definitely be a regular customer after this great first impression.

Very tasty! Lots of options, from salads, burritos, tacos and of course the roasted chicken! The potato salad is very creamy and delicious. They have a variety of bottled sodas as well. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a substantial meal on the go, or looking for something to take home to the family to avoid cooking.
You get salsa, tortillas, and 3 sides with the whole chicken meal. They look small, but once you build a plate, you’ll see it’s a lot of food. I think 3 – 4 people could easily eat from that order. Please give it a try!
If you are from Southern California, and/​or you’ve had El Pollo Loco, it is like this only much, much, much better.

The Chicken is awesome… roasted to perfection… and thats it… oh yes they have great beans and potato salad… and deliciously hot salsa… but that’s basically Juans Super Pollo. They have variations on chicken… like tacos… salads…nachos and quesadilla. I recommend any of these items for a cheap and tasty lunch… or take a couple roasters home!!!

Oh. This IS some DELICIOUS chicken!!! I don’t know what spices are on the skin, but they are magical! This is the first and only place I rush to eat the dark meat because I don’t want to miss out on all the chickeney goodness. I’m pretty much a white meat/​breast only chicken eater. not here! The first time my husband saw me gnawing on the little wing bits. He said.“who are you and where did my wife go?” Tonight we ordered a whole chicken and medium sides (rice, beans, pico de gallo and potato salad) for $ 14.99. (side note: The wonderful folks who run the place make this homemade salsa that is full of heat and just a touch of smokiness that sets off the flavor of the chicken so well… don’t miss out on it!) Even though I was worried about leftovers… we ate every single bit of that bird! With glistening fingertips, I was only left with sadness that I didn’t have room for more!
