We specialize in virus/​malware removal. As a former software engineer, I have an intimate knowledge of how viruses work and how they get their hooks into your system. Although this is our specialty, we provide a wide range of services from hardware upgrades and installations to software issues and installations, data backup and recovery, networked devices (i.e. printers), and much more.

History

Established in 2014.

I started iStart Computers when I got fed up with a certain «big box» computer service shop. They were telling people that there was a 5 week wait for service. Who has the time or patience to wait 5 weeks to get their computer system back. I have wanted to start my own repair company for years and I saw a need and decided to do it.

I got my first, «Computer», (a Commodore 64), back in 1986 when I was only 7 years old. I started programming my Commodore 64 back then by just typing in computer code out of a magazine and debugging it. I was always comfortable with computers and always enjoyed working with them. I worked on computers owned by my friends and family when I was in high school and college. I worked as a computer programmer at several large companies such as, Qwest, Accenture, and Fuzion Software. My dream has always been to start a computer repair company and I’ve finally done it.
