Lucky me! What an incredible find! I stopped in to pick up an anniversary card for my husband and discovered a gifting Mecca! They have a lovely selection of charming and unique gifts for everyone I can imagine shopping for. I know exactly where I’m going the next time I need a quick birthday or thank you gift. Surprisingly, they have a wide selection of local items as well.
And… I found the perfect anniversary card in a matter of seconds with the very helpful sales associate.

Would I? May I? Can I? Um, yes! I am in love. It’s the little things that get me. And that cookie was delicious after a long day of shopping.
HMK is a beautiful store located in Cherry Creek North. It’s so much more than a card/​gift shop. They have jewelry, home décor, gift wrap, cards, trinkets, purses, you name it.
I love the focus on locally made products. They have an entire section dedicated to Denver t-​shirts, decorations, jewelry, etc. I was so tempted to buy a painting of Denver, but decided to pass it up. I may be back for it, so NO ONE TOUCH IT!
The cards are all so beautiful, and for so many different occasions. Hallmark has really upped their ante with their selection of high-​end cards. There are also local brands and a few other national names, and a whole line of cards designed by Sarah Jessica Parker. So she is still relevant.
And you can custom embroider just about anything, which is a nice touch when you want to personalize your gift.
I will definitely be back, and soon.

The Millionaires that own the majority of the real estate in Cherry Creek seem to like to see empty store fronts instead of packed with bustling businesses. Don’t they know, «if you fill it they will come»!
It’s nice to see HMK in the neighborhood offering another shopping destination for cards, stationary, and gifts. If you’re familiar with Cherry Creek you know that you now have three solid options for gorgeous cards; HMK, Papyrus, and Paper Source.
HMK has a nice variety of cards but if I compare HMK to the other stores it is just average. I almost always find more card variety and superior quality at those other locations. Just this past weekend I was shopping for Thank You cards and a woman showed me only four different box sets of Thank You cards. Only four options for the most commonly bought card, wow! I was definitely expecting more from HMK in the card department.
The warm cookie upon entering is a nice touch but it won’t keep me coming back unless I can find what I need.

I walked by and a throw pillow caught my eye (I have a throw pillow obsession/​problem). I am in the market for a clipboard, so I thought this looked like the type of place that may have one. When I asked about the clipboard, they didn’t have one… but they did offer me a free warm sugar cookie. Yes please!
The two people working there were friendly and allowed us to browse the incredibly cute items. My infant son was starting to whine, so hubs and I had to cut it short, but not before playing with the Star Wars toys, personalized books, and me getting weepy over a recordable version of «I Love You Forever».
I will be back to look closer at the cards and other cute stuff for adults!

The perfect place to find a gift. Some cheaper options ($ 10 range) and nicer gifts (bought a wedding gift here). They can custom embroider many things in the store like bags, clothes, wooden cutting boards, iphone cases, etc. There are almost always sales going on and I’ve gotten some really great deals on a suede purse, stationary, and jewelry.
The ladies that work in the store are very nice and always offer assistance (and a warm cookie!)

When I first walked in I was greeted by two very nice women, one of which offered me a fresh baked cookie. How cool is that? It was still warm! Great selection of cards and gifts. They even have the option to create and customize your own card if you do not see one that you like. Cards are on par with stuff you would see at papyrus, and some are in the same price point, some are cheaper. I don’t know how busy they are, but I hope they stick around for awhile. It’s nice to have a higher end card and gift shop around.

Very friendly staff. Great gift ideas. There is huge selection of hallmark cards– I could look at them for hours. My only recommendation is to have some candles going to make it smell nicer.

Horrible! There were six women working the store and could not get it together when I was checking out. They don’t do military discounts and the embroider is incredibly rude. Keep it simple and just go to the mall or a standard Hallmark.
