this place is a scam… very unprofessional. Dr Janet Schimdt is a complete shame. she will ask for medical records, i will give her my medical records she will than tell me these arent real. on top of that she spent the first 10 mins asking me questions about what other doctors have charged me with in the past. kept asking what htey charge for higher plant counts and kept telling me she would not give me a high plant count. Weird, because i never once brought up a high plant count or a need to have it. STAY CLEAR they do not return your personal information. i had to forcefully go back into the office to retrieve it! The state will be hearing of you «Dr» Janet Schmidt i hope you are in the clear because i will be contacting them about your shame of a business! telling me a 26 year old with medical card that i am cheating the system? but than youll give the 19 year old kid after me his?

After a hick up I was able to see the doctor who was professional and caring. After a detailed oral history the doctor was able to access my needs and she adjusted my plant count appropriately.
Overall I like this place, Channing who mans the front desk is always pleasant and efficient.

Beware of this business. I went there to get my red card renewed for a couple of years without any problems whatsoever, which is why I kept returning. However, this morning turned out to be a different experience. The front desk receptionist, Channing is a true professional and a genuinely nice guy. I enjoyed our conversation and the appointment got off to a great start. However, unlike my previous visits, I was greeted by a different Doctor this time around, a woman by the name of Dr. Yin, a small Asian-​American woman (which I only mention for the purposes of identification). From the very beginning Dr. Yin had a very condescending and unprofessional attitude that made me feel very disrespected and uncomfortable. She would ask routine questions about my health, and then right as I was attempting to answer her, she began to get angry and accused me of not «answering correctly» and «talking over her». It’s like, woah, I’m just a boring guy that suffers from intense lower back pain in need of some relief, in no way was I looking for drama or confrontation of any kind. If you google this same Herbal Health Systems location, you will see several other reviews in which patients make similar claims about the startlingly unprofessional way in which Dr. Yin conducts herself. Never before in my 34 years have I ever encountered such disrespect and coldness in a professional medical setting. There are dozens upon dozens of other locations to get your red card/​renewal in Colorado. Do yourself a favor, avoid this place at all costs!!!

The doctor made rather bizarre and unfounded generalizations about my medical history and suggested something about conditions (that I have had for over a decade and endured countless medical tests) that literally NO DOCTOR HAS EVER SAID BEFORE. The doctor also did not bother to look at my medical records that I had brought with me. The front desk was super helpful and nice so not an entirely bad experience, but would not recommend.

Dr. Janet Schmidt will keep you waiting longer than the DMV. Go somewhere else.
