Good Dog Training

If you are looking for the BEST TRAINER, DREW is the guy. My girlfriend and I rescued our labrador when he was a puppy and searched on Unilocal to find a trainer that did NOT use traditional techniques (negative reinforcement/​punishment) but USED POSITIVE REINFORCEMENTS TECHNIQUES. Luckily, I found Drew and was immediately impressed after meeting him.
He literally turned our lab into the most amazing animal I have ever owed. He RARELY barks, does NOT PULL on the leash, COMPLETELY house broken, KNOWS SO MANY TRICKS and is as WELL BEHAVED as a SERVICE DOG. Additionally, Drew takes dogs out on ADVENTURES (which is extremely rare), exposes them to different environments, and MENTALLY & PHYSICALLY works their minds.
Drew only uses POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT TECHNIQUES, understands the PSYCHOLOGY behind the HUMAN-​ANIMAL BOND, and is the most EDUCATED, KIND & TRUSTWORTHY individual I know. He has our house key & alarm code and GOES OUT OF HIS WAY all the time for us.
Seriously, if you want to provide your dog with a good life, you must meet with Drew at least for an initial meeting. It will take less than 1 hour and will change your dog’s life. The service he provided us has a LIFE-​LASTING effect and is TRULY PRICELESS. Every dog I own will only trained by Drew.

I never write reviews — too busy, too much trouble, nothing much to say, you get the picture. But this time I HAVE to share just how FABULOUS Drew is.

We have a new Golden Retriever puppy, Pisko, and started working with Drew almost immediately (e.g., private one-​on-​one lessons before Pisko had even finished all of his shots, puppy manner classes, two-​week boarding school, etc.) DREW has an exceptional rapport with dogs, a true gift for teaching (both animals and OWNERS), and a wonderful sense of humor. He also listens closely to what YOUR specific goals and needs are, and tailors your training experience to meet those objectives.
I could go on an on, but the bottom line is that DREW IS THE BEST TRAINER around!

Drew was a miracle worker for my «rescued» dog with fear agression. Drew helped me make sene of my dogs behavior and helped me to manage it so that I was able not only to keep him but take him out in public without fear of his doing something dreadful. Drew is simply amazing. He is our dog whisperer for our neurotic cattle dog, St. Bernard puppy who is a glamazon, our bossy beagle/​cocker mx, and our lazy Bernese Mountain dog. Drew is truly a dog trainer, and also an owner trainer. We can’t recommend him highly enough.

Drew is the BEST when it comes to training your pup! Our two and a half year old Welsh Terrier adores and respects Drew — and has been under his tutelage since he was four months old. Drew is a great trainer with exceptionally effective methods. He has spent a number of sessions with our Great Dane puppy. His caring nature and ability to connect with animals was obvious in his interactions with our pooch. He also took the time to work with my wife and I to understand the most effective ways for us to reinforce his training and make lasting improvements. Drew is amazing! He opened our eyes to so many things about our puppy’s behavior. He definitely goes above and beyond just «training.» We have a German Shepard/​Cattle Dog mix puppy who is a little too smart for her own good. He showed us ways to challenge her mind and to get her to think. His techniques are very easy to bring home and do yourself. He makes you feel like the sky is the limit when training your dog. I am a professional pet care business owner. I deal with dogs on a daily basis. When I come across dogs that need training, I tell them they need to use a dog trainer. But not any trainer, because there are some mean ones out there, I tell them they MUST use Drew! He is amazing. He has a calm personality and uses positive training techniques. He gets results and dogs really respond to his techniques. He also teaches owners how to continue the training so even after the sessions, owners can still work with their dogs on what they’ve learned.

Drew is a FANTASTIC trainer who really knows & loves dogs. I had spoken to several trainers in the area, and they all seemed to have less than a few years experience, but Drew has been working with dogs for years & it shows — he met with me & my dog in person at Petapoluza in Fremont and discussed with me his training style & even helped me switch food! I never felt pressured & could tell Drew really knew what he was doing.
I have had several training sessions with him for both basic obedience & we’ve been working on some leash aggression issues, and so far, we’ve VERY HAPPY with where we are. Not only did Drew’s experience outshine other local trainers when I was «trainer shopping,» he’s extremely personable and understanding to the needs of not only the dog, but the OWNERS as well.
