Specialties
Globe Hall is a converted Dive-bar just off the Washington Street Exit from I-70 in Globeville. This no-holds bar, restaurant and venue is now serving authentic Texas-style Barbecue and features a full bar, backyard patio and music venue featuring a variety of artists from the local music scene. Globe Hall is located in the River North (RiNo) area of Denver in a bar and music hall built in 1903 as a Croatian/Slovenian meeting lodge — St. Jacob’s Hall. It was one of the first saloons in Globeville and for more than 112 years has operated as the Golobvich and Slogar Saloon, the 16 to One Exchange, the Logan Grill and the Sidewinder Tavern. After the only ownership change since its construction, Globe Hall continues to celebrate the joy of community gatherings. Instead of union and town hall meetings, weddings and funerals, Globe Hall now hosts live music acts and serves Texas style barbecue, beer and cocktails.
Meet the Business Owner
Jeff C.
Business Owner
Raised in Texas, refined in Colorado since 1995, Jeff wanted to create a place that reminded him of all the great barbecue joints and honkeytonks he frequented while in Texas. While Globe Hall is his first foray into the restaurant and bar business, his previous career was in entertainment working for companies like Ringling Bros. Circus, Disney on Ice and Radio City Entertainment. Globe Hall is the product of his love of live music, great barbecue and comfortable bars that foster a feeling of friendship among strangers.
