G T Car Shop

My car needed a simple fix, but it put me in quite a bind since the window wouldn’t roll up and it’s the middle of WINTER! I called GT’s on a Friday (of a holiday weekend). I knew the car couldn’t be seen until Monday, but everything after that was a breeze! Dropped my car off and by Monday at 2pm I got a call that everything was done. They were able to put my window back on track without replacing parts, which was a huge relief. They were fast, efficient, wonderfully friendly, and more than fair with the price! Thanks, guys!

Took them a while (a little over a month), but they got me in for an estimate quickly and did a great job. They were really nice and very thorough. August/​September is very busy for them, and I was warned of this, so I won’t deduct any stars for the delay.

I’ve brought my car into GT twice now, and I had an amazing experience with them. The staff is extremely friendly and up front about what the work will take in terms of time and cost. One time when I went there, somebody had broken into my truck and I needed to get the driver side window repaired, and they were able to get the parts and install it for me on the same day.
My girlfriend’s car was just in the shop as well, and they did a fabulous job on it too. She was thrilled to have her car looking as good as new and enjoyed her experience with GT. They dealt with her insurance company so that she didn’t have to. This shop is absolutely my go-​to repair shop if I am ever in need of more repairs on my truck.

Maybe my expectations were too high because of all the 5 star ratings but I was not a happy camper today. Somebody bashed into my bumper in a restaurant/​bar parking lot and took off.
Took it into Allstate — that’s another review and it won’t be a good one. They decided that my Lexus was only worthy of a refurbished bumper and wrote me a check for whopping $ 233 after my deductible. I took it to this place based on Unilocal reviews.
My antenna should have gone up when I asked how long and they said two days depending on whether they had to ask Allstate for more money so they could use new factory parts. So, I made an appointment and took it in Monday at 8:00 am on the coldest, iciest day of the new year. Of course no one was there but I’ll cut them some slack because the traffic was the pits.
So, I’ve been without a car all week and I finally called them yesterday to check the status. «Oh, said the office girl, we submitted a request to Allstate on Monday and haven’t heard back.» I was ticked because had I known that I could have intervened with Allstate Monday instead of today. I guess I could have waited indefinitely for them to let me know. I told the girl they should have called me with the status, I shouldn’t have had to call them. So, I tell her I’m tired of being carless and I’m coming to pick it up. She said fine she’d make sure if they had it torn up they had it back together when I got there. Two hours later and you guessed it — they hadn’t put it back together so I get to sit there fuming while the owner tries to blame the whole mess on me and Allstate and that I was welcome to call for status anytime. The point is it shouldn’t be the customer’s responsibility to find out what’s going on — you, as the business owner, have that on your plate. I told him I’d take my business elsewhere. He said, «I think that’s a great idea.» Nice.

My car was in a pretty severe accident a few months back, and after searching reviews on body repair shops, I settled on GT. I am very glad I did! The customer service was excellent, everyone I spoke with was kind and patient, even after there was a mixup with insurance payments. They were willing to work with me on picking up my car after hours and were very flexible when I had to leave my car for an additional couple of days due to going on vacation.
Once I received my car I was more then pleased with the work done. It looked as good as new, and was cleaned when I retrieved it.
Overall my experience here was definitely as good as it gets, I would recommend this place to anyone, it was professional and very high quality.

I had my 2001 Audi TT convertible fixed at GT Car Shop earlier this month and I was absolutely delighted with the service. Kelly, the owner, worked with me to reduce the cost of the repairs because I was paying out of pocket. They did the job in a timely manner and the quality was superb. It looks as good as new now.

GT car shop is one of those places you hope you never need (at least, for me). But when I needed body work, I’m so glad I found them. They came highly recommended from another place, and I’m so glad I went there.
Not only were they able to come in lower than the other bids I was getting, but they were fantastic about taking care of me and my car. The car looks great — that part is now the best looking part on the car.
They were friendly, helpful, thorough, and very pleasant. I felt like I was getting great service (sometimes I don’t always feel like that as a woman). They were on-​time for my appointment and got it done so quickly.
I’m hoping I don’t need their services again, but if I do, I know where to go.

I received my truck today from them and feel giddy like a school child like I just bought a new truck. In today’s world of auto shops there are few and far between that take the time and the effort to achieve quality and excellence and strive to deliver this to their customers. GT car shop goes above and beyond in all areas. Highly professional and if I could give them 10 stars I would. I would feel confident in recommending this shop to anyone. I had some front end damage to my vehicle that needed repairs. After doing some investigation of my own, a highly respected business close to my home recommended GT Car Shop for body work. I decided to go ahead and take my vehicle to them for an estimate. I was so pleased with the price that I decided to ask them to schedule me for the repairs. I only had to wait two weeks, which surprised me given that other places wanted me to wait six weeks. When you walk in, you can immediately tell just by looking at the shop that it is well run and orderly. The people are all friendly and highly skilled. This place is a diamond in the ruff kind of place. Anyone would be more than satisfied trusting GT Car Shop to take care of their car repairs. My vehicle looks like it never got into an accident. I am more than pleased. This business earned my respect and deserves my best recommendation!

I was heartbroken when my new car got sideswiped two years ago while it was parked. AAA recommended GT Car Shop, so I brought my car in. They were really professional and courteous, and when I picked up my car two weeks later, I couldn’t even tell it had been damaged! Plus, they washed it inside and out. I recommended them to two other friends who got hit within a few months, and they also loved them. Highly recommended
