OK, really… I buy furniture from many places on planet earth… many, and today I decided to pop in (Tuesday) based on reviews from Unilocal users here. I’m sure Greg is awesome but in the literally 17 seconds I spent in the store I’ll never know. It’s possible I just hit it on a bad day… methinks not. I drove from 80 122 through Mordor to get here and literally wasted 45 minutes-​1 hour driving here thats 3300 of my heart beats.
Seriously, this was a joke, I drove around the block for 5 minutes and once I found the location parked at Arby’s to walk in.
Yeah I’m an elitist snob I guess… oh and by the way it ABSOLUTELY smells of cigarette smoke upon opening the front door.

This place is legit. It’s a great spot to shop for quality used furniture. The owner Greg, is no nonsense but moves a lot of quality furniture. We stopped in twice, and the first time he didn’t have anything of interest to us, so he gave us a list of recommendations of other shops. A week later we got a great deal on a dresser set, high quality and a great price. Delivery prices are stellar as well.
The only downside is that the place is pretty small. It’s filled up and emptied a few times a month, so it might take a few trips to find something that you like, but it’s a great stop if you need something «new» for your house.

Great deals from a varied selection. The owner, Greg, does a great job of keeping the showroom packed — some might say crowded — with various items, from the cheap $ 30 dresser that would cost probably $ 100 elsewhere to a $ 900 complete dining set (which retails for $ 6000+ new).
Since his prices are so low, there is very quick turnover, which is why you may want to pop by during the week when he’s getting new items. I think many of his items come from the up-​scale retirement homes in the area, so you can find some very interesting and old pieces for cheap.
Sunday is clearance day, when prices are slashed so that he can make room for more inventory during the week. These pieces are priced to sell already, but by the weekend you can get even better deals — but risk going to a store where every item you seek has a «SOLD» sticker already.
Greg’s Furniture Liquidators is our weekly destination, where we know we’ll find interesting items at a very good price. Also know that Greg does furniture repair as well, and at very good prices.
There are some people here complaining about smelling cigarette smoke. Some people just have to complain about something. To be clear: I have never had a furniture item delivered that had any bad smells. I have probably 10 items and none have a smell. Sometimes he smokes a cigarette in his work area while keeping the doors open, so you may smell a cigarette if you walk back there. If this bothers you I suggest you go to a different store on 44^th St. where prices will be double, but where you won’t have to worry about the faint smell of a cigarette.

Not a gigantic store, but the owner is constantly restocking the supply (go back next week if you don’t like what you see this week) and everyone is very friendly and helpful. Prices are good and sometimes you can find an awesome piece for a steal. They also deliver if your eyes are bigger than your trunk.
One word of caution– this store is just inside the boundaries of Mountain View, a tiny town that is also a money-​hungry speed trap. Go the speed limit, wear your seatbelt, make sure your lights work, and take that air freshener off your rear view mirror before visiting.

This business reminds me of the old yankee shops I grew up with. That is a good thing. That means, reasonable prices, and maybe even discounts. They do delivery for a meager 10 $ flat rate. Stuff is coming in all the time. This place is cash or check only, due to the credit card companies fees having become ridiculous in the last couple years. I found some really nice functional items. Plus, he was super nice and fun to do business with.

I went here solely based on positive Unilocal reviews and once again Unilocal led me in the right direction.
Greg is really accommodating and the selection is constantly changing so there’s a lot to choose from. He customized a 3-​piece dresser set for us and it turned out absolutely adorable (for our son’s nursery).
The downside is– it does smell like smoke in there– but if you can wrap your head around that you’ll have a great experience.

Greg, the store owner is a old school and very pleasant person. I always find something useful at the store when I visit. The store has all types of vintage furniture, lamps, mattress and decorative things. The wooden furniture is Greg’s specialty.
I had been to few other stores like this. Mostly other owners sell the vintage furniture as is; which is mostly crap and/​or are not in a good working condition/​good looking at higher price. Greg know his stuff and work on it himself to look and work good before he sells it. He also makes a fair deal and free delivery to home if within certain distance.
Highly recommended for vintage furniture and other things!!!

COME HERE FIRST!
Awesome owner who knows what exactly is in his store at any given moment. I was immediately greeted and asked what I was looking for. I found my chair and desk in less than 10 minutes! Service is fast and friendly.
He also personally showed me my options that he had available at the time. I will be going here for all of my random furniture needs.
The price was also right up my ally and because I was within 5 miles he offers free delivery!
If you are looking for vintage furniture check him out first.

Bought a chair/​ottoman combo for the new apartment. But, after it got delivered, I realized it was reeking of cigarette smoke. This turned the whole situation around to searching for a carpet cleaner to come out ($ 100) to clean a chair that I just bought for $ 60. Granted not much money, but my new purchase was wrapped in plastic with arm and hammer baking soda all over it. After leaving this mess, and being in Vegas for a week, I left a voicemail for Greg about the situation. After thinking, I was never going to get a call back, 2 days later, Greg calls and tells me, «If you’re not happy, then I’m not happy.» Delivery guys came the next day and handed me my cash back.

This is an awesome little store. The owner is a great guy and is super helpful. If you are looking for something particular and he doesn’t have it then he will look for it for you. The shop is small but packed. I went on a Monday and found a couch but didn’t commit to it. I was looking for a steady bookcase. The owner gave me a tip of coming in on Thursday when his shop is stocked to the masses and he has the most inventory.
I am very much looking forward to going back on a Thursday.

Prices are so reasonable you will feel like a jerk for paying so little.
Went in several times looking for a pretty specific piece. Greg let me know when he was expecting new arrivals. Finally found something perfect, a very nice solid wood nightstand with two drawers for $ 20. And they brought it straight to my house 40 minutes later.
It’s a small shop so he may not have what you’re looking for the first time you go in, but if you keep going you will find exactly what you want for the price you want. And Greg is a super nice guy, it is actually enjoyable to go in repeatedly because it’s always pleasant to see him again.

The place reeks of cigarettes, despite both doors being open and wind blowing through the place to air it out. Their selection of furniture wasn’t great, and the prices were disappointing. Glad I checked it out, but I was just as happy to leave.

The owner of this furniture store will take care of you and what you’re looking for. He is a gem in the mess of people out there and gives you furniture for a STEAL! Before you go to other furniture stores, go in and ask Greg if he has what you’re looking for. If he does, he will give you one heck of a deal. If he doesn’t, he will let you know when his next delivery is or where he suggests for you to go and find it. I bought a bedroom set (9 drawers with a mirror attached and a nightstand) for $ 130. He fixed up the break in the wood and finished it beautifully. He takes pride in his work and he wants you to be more than satisfied with what you purchase from him.

I love this place! He has so much stuff and always getting new things in. We got a bed here in a hurry when my dad was coming to stay in our spare bedroom and he gave us a very fair price and delivered the same day. I’ll be stopping in regularly just to check out what he gets in. There is a lot of cheaper stuff (but in great shape) and also things that are pricier but beautiful.

This place is great. I’ve been in here quite a few times and each time I have found something unique to add to my home. The owner is so friendly, I really don’t feel like he is trying to rip anyone off. He just wants to move out his furniture to make room for new stuff! Free delivery to the Highlands is awesome.
This past visit he did not have what I was looking for, but he took down my name and number, then called me a couple hours later telling me he have what I’m looking for in the store by Monday. Wow!
Seriously awesome customer service. And by buying here you are supporting a local business instead of a giant furniture chain.

This place is eaxactly what I am looking for when I want to find used furniture. Contemporary, kitsch, odds/​ends, trailer-​park circa 1979 — whatever you want, they will usually have it. If they don’t, just keep checking back — eventually you’ll find what you want.
The owner will wheel-​n-​deal with you.
I see other entries below about the place being ‘ghetto’…if you’re the kind of personality that would say that, then it’s not your kind of shop. A goldmine to hunters looking for that right piece for an even more-​right price.

Furniture Liquidators: no thanks. I’m happy with the furniture that I purchased and the price I paid for it but I am never ever going back.
When you drive to the place, it looks like a back alley estate sale and the furniture is literally spilling out the doors into the tiny parking lot. This is the only way you know you’ve found the right place as there’s no business sign or any non-​sketchy indication of an open store.
The owner of the store is friendly and knowledgeable but oversells by a large margin –and I don’t mean the prices. He talks the furniture and his refinishing process up more than it really deserves. Everything is veneered particle-​board or overly-​ornate collections from the 70s and 80s. But hell, with prices that good, it seems pretty perfect.
EXCEPT when you cut them a deal on price in order to guarantee a prompt delivery to your apartment in Five Points and they don’t hold up their end of the bargain. Normally, I’d be more level-​headed about the whole shebang but neither the delivery guy nor the owner had the simple politeness to call and inform me that they’d be a day late.
Honestly the store seemed to be the right price for the furniture in stock and I appreciated the quick inventory turnover but this namby-​pamby slacking on a business deal does not cut it.

Unfortunately, I have yet to purchase something in this store. But, the prices are great and the service is fantastic.
So, I was looking for a buffet for my dining room. I went in once and was told that they didn’t have anything currently, but that they had a huge truck yet to be unloaded, so I should check back the next day. I went ahead and cruised the small store full of furniture. I was told not to bother with the price on the sticker, to ask the salesman (possibly owner?) if I was interested in anything and he’d work with me. I checked back a few days later and no buffet, but the same salesman was really nice and recommended that I head down the street to Wheat Ridge Used Furniture, where I found what I was looking for.
I will definitely be stopping in here again to scope some more stuff for my house. Next on the list: Patio furniture
Did I mention they have FREE DELIVERY in the ‘hood?

First off let me say, the prices in this store are freakin’ fantastic! Most pieces are under $ 100 and I’m not talking about a dinky little footstool or something. You can get desks, chairs, couches, dressers etc for great prices. I bought a 1950’s Danish Modern black leather sleeper-​sofa in flawless condition for $ 225. If you went to a vintage store on Broadway you can bet that sucker would have been about $ 1000!
The owner is a super friendly guy. When I came in the day before I bought the couch he told me exactly what he was planning to get in the next day and when it would arrive. I set my alarm for 8:00am on a Saturday morning just to get that couch. If you are looking for any particular item/​era you can ask him to look out for it and he will.
I cannot express enough how much this place ROCKS! There is a new shipment pretty much everyday, so the inventory is always changing. I’ve already been 3 times this week (in my defense I did just buy a new house)
