History

Established in 2001.

The experience of Frontier Roofing Systems Inc (FRS) starts back in 1981 when the owner Bob Schmitz started his roofing career roofing during the summers while he was still attending school. Thirty years in the roofing industry has given Bob the knowledge of roofing to pass down to his employees and demand the same excellence that he always demanded of himself and others that he managed. Depth of experience in almost all aspects of building waterproofing gives FRS an extreme advantage over most of our competitors. The other aspect that makes us stand apart is our commitment to doing it right. There are so many ways that roofers can cut corners and install a product that appears to be good on the surface but is far from adequate if you dig a little deeper. FRS was established in 2001 as a sole proprietorship. How Frontier Roofing Systems Inc (FRS) came to be, started from when I sat on my Mothers lap as a small boy and told her that some day I would be able to take care of her. I was alway entrepreneurial at heart and knew from a small boy that my dream would be to own my own business. While attending college I was forced to make a decision to either stay at college or move out with my girlfriend. This is when Beth and I decided to move out together where I would start roofing full time. I worked for some of the best roofing companies in Colorado learning all that I could about roofing and always striving to be the best roofer. I loved being faster and better than my peers and always looked at what other people did and took the good parts of what they did and incorporated it into the way that I installed roofing. I have installed thousands of commercial and residential roofs in Colorado. I worked as a manager of roofing with two large companies until I started Frontier Roofing.
