Frame by Frame

So far, this place is pretty great! We went in for a quote, matched a white frame to the colour of the paper (there are way to many whites in the world), and helped us find a simple black frame.
I was surprised at how low the cost was, compared to what I am used to from other states. We will be returning to get our painting framed next month.

I am an artist who works with pastels, so it’s very important to me that I trust my framer not to smudge/​damage my pieces. Rod is always very careful with my work and very helpful picking out matting and frames. I don’t go to anyone else!
Rod also supports local artists by featuring a different artist each month in his shop along with an opening «party» to feature the artist. I love working with Rod and his support for the local artist community is wonderful!

Just had a large original painting framed here and it turned out wonderfully! This store has a large selection of framing options. Turnaround in one week was wonderful and the pricing was reasonable. I will be back!

If you are looking to have your artwork framed or your artwork stretched on canvas I would highly recommend working with Rod at Frame by Frame. I had 7 pieces of art that were on canvas and I wanted to have stretched and placed on canvas. I live in Stapleton so this was one of the closest framing stores to where I lived. I walked into the store, Rod (the owner) greeted me with a smile and spent over an hour with me consulting me on what options I had and they have a ton of great options, which I appreciated. When I saw the amount of frame options he had, I decided to have a few of the pieces frames and not just have all of them placed onto canvas. Rod was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and patient and the price that he quoted me for the amount of work was much lower than I had expected it would be, so that made me very happy. I asked Rod if there was any way he could rush the order because I wanted to have the pieces back in time for a party I was throwing at my house and not only did he guarantee me that he would get all 7 pieces done in time but he didn’t charge me any sort of rush fee to do so. Two days prior to the date he guaranteed me that they would be ready, I received a call that my artwork was done. I couldn’t believe that he was ready before I was. I was actually out of town for work, so I wasn’t able to pick up the work until the agreed upon date. Because of the large size of the pieces I had stretched and framed, I had to rent a U-​Haul to safely pick them up. Rod met me when they first opened, showed me the work they had done and I couldn’t be happier. They looked amazing. I could tell that Rod was proud of the work his team did and I really appreciated that. I now have the 7 new pieces of art hanging in my house and I have Frame by Frame to thank for that. I will be recommending Rod to anyone that is looking to have their art framed. I already know I have two more pieces that I need to have matted and framed and I will be back.

I had a great experience working with Rod, the owner at Frame by Frame. The actual framing of my art was only part of the experience. Rod was a pleasure to work with. He has a really good eye and suggested some great options in my budget. Aside from that, the store is full of interesting stuff. There is a different, quality featured artist every time I come in, plus they sell a lot of other decorative things for the house. I come back for their candles. These really great hand made candles from the east coast that are less expensive in the store than they were at the candle factory in North Carolina. Even if you don’t need framing, I suggest going for the art and candles. Thanks Rod.

I am headed over since they’re open for a little longer today. This will be my 3^rd piece; the first two were items from deceased family members, so they were important to me and I was pleased with how they turned out. I found both gentleman with whom I dealt to be pleasant and helpful.

I am a water colorist. I’ve had lots of work matted and framed here, and they’ve always done quality work with quality materials. I do happily recommend them.

I walked in with a picture of my son and wanted to spend less than $ 100. I am not too familiar with framing and was asked what color mat I wanted. No one helped me with any options or suggestions. I chose white and was given 100 different white options. The man helping me just slid white mat after white mat near my picture and didn’t speak to me, offer suggestions etc. When asked what color frame I wanted, the same happened. I wasn’t helped in making many options and we stood in silence while I looked at the wall of hundreds is frames and no help was given to me until I chose a particular frame off the wall. These men work with prints and frames all day and I would have appreciated some suggestions and different options that were beyond white mat and brown frame. I felt so awkward with the silence that I simply picked one that I more-​or-​less liked and went with it.
Update– I did pick up my framing and they did a quality job. It looks great in my house and they were very kind when I picked it up. Maybe someone was just having a bad day…

As a professional artist, both for my paintings and photography, I found Rod (the owner) and Michael to be extremely helpful in choosing the frames that helped showcase my art in ways I never could or consider. The finished product was beautifully done, the mats and frames putting that final «touch» on my art. The quality of the work, service, and turn around were «above and beyond.» Rod answered all my questions and concerns and made me feel very comfortable with entrusting my art with him. I highly recommend «Frame by Frame» for your framing needs. It’s also a fun little store to shop in too!

My husband and I went into this store to have our wedding Ketubah framed. We chose it because it’s a local business and was open Sunday.
Our experience was great! Rodney was very personable and friendly, and he really took his time explaining our options and pricing. He seemed quite invested in making us happy and in making our Ketubah look nice. He even threw in an unrequested discount because he «likes young couples.» Our art was ready well in advance of when he said it would be, and it looks wonderful. He’s won our business for the next time we need something framed!

My interaction with this place has been minimal but terrible. While I was fortunate enough to not have given this place my business, my short communication with the owner was awful in my opinion. Since this is just my take on it I have included the email chain for anyone to decide whether or not the slight was real or imagined.
The email was sent to their email address on their website (which is a gmail address… really? Get a real business email.) The responses come with a signature with a heading of «Rod Leeseberg, Owner.»

I am looking to have my wife’s diploma framed for her. It is 14“x16″. Can you please provide me with an estimate of what I can expect to spend to do this?
Response:
That is like going to the grocery store and asking how much are my groceries going to cost, I have over 2,000 moulding to choose from, hundreds of mats, and a dozen glass choices. How much do you want to spend? I have an Anniversary Sale going on for 2 weeks 30% Off Custom Framing, now would be a good time to bring it in.
Thank you for the inquire but this is not something you can do over an email.
My reply:
I know very well what my groceries are going to cost when I go to the store. I am asking for a range of what it can cost. I’m sure it is possible to provide an absolute minimum and an absolute maximum of what it could cost depending on the materials I choose as that gives me a number to plan for. If that’s not something that is possible over email so be it, however I do not appreciate you talking down to me.
I would like to point out that I emailed the same question to two other local businesses and both of them provided me with very similar estimates starting around $ 90 and going up depending on the materials I chose. His final email that i will not be responding to quotes a price of $ 50 if I choose black frame, regular glass, and no matting and up to $ 500 for «all the bells and whistles.»

Frame by Frame Gallery has been wonderful to work with. They are very professional, offer great variety, do quality work, in a timely fashion and at a fair price. As an independent photograher, I am so pleased to have found such a caring business to work with.

Rodney framed a couple out photos from my outdoor adventures. These pieces are just beautiful and my memories are now transformed into art on my walls. Thank you!
