This place is amazing! Their hashes are epic and the service was lovely. The place has such a cozy feel too! I left my glove here one day and they held on to it so when I came back the next day they were able to return it to me! Lucky day! Will definitely return!

Tried this place for breakfast on a Sunday based on a recommendation. A solid quiet little place. Nothing special on the inside but really good food and let’s face it, that’s what matters most. The staff were friendly, food came out quick and there was NO wait for a table. Hallelujah! Got the Classic Benedict. Eggs were perfect and the sauce was one of the better ones I’ve had recently. Pretty much everything we had was good. Also recommend the bacon… WOW. So crazy good. The sausage gravy was a winner as well. TIP: the lot beyond the building is free on Sunday’s. At least in th

Best brunch spot. The vibe is relaxed and not at all gimmicky like the trendier Denver spots(looking at you Jelly and Snooze) and it’s just a good neighborhood spot with all ages dining there. The food is SOGOOD and not very expensive. There’s usually not a wait(unless maybe you’re a larger party showing up at peak hours) which is a rare find for brunch in Denver. The staff is the nicest and make sure you’re taken care of.

My first experience at fork and spoon was pretty great. They have an awesome array of breakfast to choose from as well as some lunch items. Personally I got the huevos rancheros and it was amazing, although the heat was lacking. My boyfriend got the breakfast quesadillas which in my opinion were better. Overall this was a great breakfast/brunch option but the service could have been better we were some of the only people in the restaurant and never got our water glasses refilled. But I will definitely be returning soon.

In the neighborhood so I thought I’d give this place a try. I ordered one of my favorites, a breakfast burrito-I was more than a little surprised and disappointed when I was told the green chili was extra. I’m not sure what would’ve happened if I would have ordered biscuits and gravy would the gravy be included, or a slice of apple pie would I pay extra for the Apples? The service was great the place looks good on the inside, but really, who charges extra for green chili on a breakfast burrito.

Comfy atmosphere, friendly employees, and delicious food! I ordered the French Toast special, and it was super good! Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful breakfast here this morning and will certainly be returning! Our food came out exceptionally fast and piping hot I ordered the steak, blue cheese and balsamic glaze scramble — the combination of glaciers are intense and delightful! I added a side of gravy for my potatoes and am sure glad I did! My guy ordered the pulled pork hash and it was gone before I could even ask if he liked it Our waitress Hannah was a sincere sweetheart! She kept my coffee hot and full!

We came into fork and spoon because sassafras had a hour long wait. We were seated right away. The staff was friendly and the ambience was pleasant. The football game was on so my dining companion was happy. The Bloody Mary was excellent and his bottomless mimosas were a great deal. The food arrived promptly and looked great! The biscuit and egg sandwich I ordered had perfectly candied bacon and the biscuit it self was definitely homemade. What really topped off this find for me was the triple berry jam made by one of the owners. It was so good I ended up taking a jar home to Wyoming with me! We enjoyed our meal and service and am happy that we uncovered another sweet breakfast joint in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.(Bonus we didn’t have to deal with any pretentious hipsters either!)

Had lunch here while on vacation in Colorado. Didn’t know of a location in the capital hill area while visiting the Mollie Brown house and cathedral. Picked it because it was across the street from cathedral. Wasn’t sure what to expect but ended up being pleasantly surprised. My chicken Caesar wrap was delicious. The owners daughter waited on us and she was so delightfully friendly. Definitely recommend!

Great food marred by terrible service. I asked for two egg sandwiches and was charged $ 19 without drink or tip. Apparently, I was given two full meals on one plate. I pointed out that I ate less than half, didn’t realize that I was ordering two meals and also that no sane person would knowingly order such a large amount of food. The staff made no attempt to fix, correct or try to find a solution. Excellent food or not, I can’t guarantee I will come back to a place that treats customers like this and charges $ 20 for bacon eggs and biscuits.

I had the Chicken and Waffles which was — Sweet potato waffle smothered with a cayenne-pecan maple syrup with a lightly breaded chicken breast, candied pecans, whipped cream and apple slices. One of the best chicken and waffle meals I’ve had. It’s sweet, it’s spicey, it’s savory all in one bite. I recommend this place for a small group.

I’ll be honest — we ended up here bc our brunch destination had an hour wait. It seems a bit clustered full of tables with no layout when you walk in. We were pleasantly surprised by the food however. In our group we had the smoked salmon Benedict, fork and spoon Benny, a classic Benny, and chicken and waffles. No complaints about any of them. Besides the layout, the other disappointment was the service. Our waitress seemed to have too much on her plate. It took awhile to get coffee and water refills, and our food took a good 30 minutes to arrive. You could tell it had been sitting for a bit when we did get it. Our waitress was very friendly but with too much going on. Overall it’s a good casual brunch spot that suites your needs.

The food here was amazing! I had the waffle combo and that waffle will follow me to my grave. It will haunt my breakfast dreams. No other waffle will attain the status of that perfect waffle, only found at the Fork and Spoon. Not only was my food delicious(including my white chocolate mocha) but the staff were crazy friendly. Elizabeth/Lisabeth(I can’t recall which it was, I’m so sorry) was extremely kind and friendly. She made the restaurant very welcoming and her upbeat attitude made for a great atmosphere! I highly suggest this restaurant, especially if you’re from out of town. Elizabeth/Lisabeth was quick to offer up different places to go and see while I was in Denver.

I told myself today that I would finally remember to take a picture of my food to post with the overdue review of this place I had also told myself I would write. I forgot again, of course, but at least it was for the best possible reason! It wasn’t until I was already knee deep in my AMAZING pork tamales, one of today’s specials, that I remembered about my photo pledge. By that time I had done such a job on my tamales that the picture wouldn’t have done them their delicious, delicious justice. This is pretty much what happens every time I eat at this place, so I’ll consider it a success if I never upload a picture of my breakfast. The food is always delicious without fail, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the ambiance is welcoming. Their coffee is from the Espresso Smith Coffee Company, and it’s the best! I’m normally disappointed when I visit a breakfast joint and my meal is accompanied by a watery brown cup of coffee that’s a disgrace to the beverage’s name, but not here! The coffee is wonderful, and your tastebuds will be thankful. If you want to find a charming, reasonably priced breakfast place to frequent, don’t pass on giving Fork & Spoon a shot! I left this morning with my tummy happy, and I’m so glad to have this place in the neighborhood.

Average breakfast spot. $ 10 bottomless mimosas and bloody mary’s for two are two drinks they offer. The bloody mary for two lacks in what the smaller bloody has, seasoning and zing! Order the small one or the big one and theyre both good. The waffle sandwich with chicken is small but good. The Chorizo looked dank and my girlfriend made me eat the rest of hers. She really twisted my arm! Just kidding it was so good I ended up eating most of it even though I was full #fatlife.

I try a lot of places through Groupon or Living Social. I’m up for most anything, but my time and money are valuable so I use Unilocal primarily as my screen before buying a coupon. It has served me well so I thought I should add to the conversation… Sadly my first review is disappointing. Frankly, even at the discounted price this was not worth it. The service was quite poor… terse, unfriendly, ineffective(did not bother to give us the specials list or even discuss them with us) and inattentive. We had to wait a long time for coffee, and then longer for iced tea. When these were empty, we had to ask to get them filled… not as soon as we emptied them mind… but after they sat empty awhile. In fact, the iced tea never got refilled. And the food. My wife had the fork and spoon benny… ho hum… maybe just not the right day. So let’s move on to my chicken and waffles. Picked a bad place to try this oft tempting menu option. I didn’t finish it and certainly would not take leftovers of such a poor meal home. Anyone who knows me likes(or hates) my mantra… «waste not, want not»… so yeah, leaving food on a plate says a lot for me. Some parts of the chicken could not be cut with a knife and most of it took hard work to cut and chew. Add to this the place was not all that clean and really, I might be being generous with two stars.

My guy and I went here for breakfast on a Saturday and were seated right away. Our server was very friendly and gave good suggestions. I like to share a sweet & savory with my guy. We got the Lafayette Stuffed French Toast — stuffed with fresh fruit and cream cheese and a healthy-ish omelet and both were so good. Really good coffee too.

Funny ambience, good music, super-cool staff, and pretty good food. The breakfast burrito was good, if not great. My wife only ate half her waffle, but I really enjoyed the other half. My biggest complaint was that the dining room was probably 50 degrees when we walked in, but they fixed that soon after seeing us. Fork and Spoon didn’t blow me away, but it’s definitely good enough to give it another shot.

Hello?! You can get a breakfast sandwich on a waffle. They have a sign defining the word«hangry.» They serve biscuits and gravy, stuffed French toast, chicken and waffles, salads, and sandwiches. Their coffee creamer comes in adorable little milk jugs The staff is super nice. They deliver! I mean what else could I possible want from a Colfax breakfast joint? Even with a smaller menu I had a tough time deciding on my breakfast choice, but I did enjoy my meal and the tough choices make me interested in returning again to order something new and different. The inside isn’t overly large, but it is cozy and I really enjoyed my breakfast here.
