This place is such a treasure! We really enjoyed our visit. Incredible collection of all things mind body and soul. I could stay here for hours. We was able to find some beautiful healing stones and crystals. They have a wonderful display you can almost feel the stones speaking to you. They aren’t just thrown on a shelf or bin. Each variety is placed in glass with purpose. They have a great selection of candles, jewels, Malas, books, and other very unique items. We brought our 2 year old and 5 year old and they were treated very kindly which is hard to find these days, and we felt welcomed. We tried the lavender sage smudge stick tonight and it was divine. Highly recommend if you’re in the highlands or Berkeley area to stop in this shop.

If you like rocks that has some kind of meaning astrologically come here. Or if you’re interested in just the beauty of each colorful rocks then come here too.
The ladies that work here will help you find your rock of choice. I came here with a friend who’s trying to find a rock that will make him more focused. We also looked for his birthstone. If they don’t carry what you want– they will help you by ordering it for you.
I found this bracelet that comes in about three colors. I love it!
Tons of incense tools if you’re into that! This is to me a store that I can lose myself in for at least an hour.

As soon as you walk in you’re greeted. When they ask what you are looking for and you respond, they are knowledgable with their recommendations. So many beautiful crystal specimens. I do think some of their tumbled stones and certain quartz crystals were over priced, but that won’t keep me from becoming a regular. I hope to attend some of their classes/​seminars soon.

This store was the first one I found when I really dove into my spiritual side of life. It’s still the store I frequent the most. The energy is great, the staff is super friendly, and I always feel welcomed.
Another reviewer said they felt watched and I would have to agree with that on some level. There have been a couple times I’ve gone in and have had that feeling as well. I understand their side though, I work retail myself.

I LOVE this store! I just started really diving into my spiritual journey after I moved to Denver and finding this store has been the most important thing I’ve done since I moved here. Sometimes I stop in just to take in the great energy in the store. The people who work here are really amazing and one of the things that makes this store great. Anna and Ashley are so helpful and you can tell they really love working there and sharing their knowledge and experience. I’ve been to see one of the readers, Michael, and I could tell even during our session that what he was revealing to me was going to change my life. It was the best thing I could’ve done for myself. I also love the events they host… I love it all!

I’ve been to this shop several times. Each time is a little a little different. The prices are a bit high for tumbled stones, but they do have a pretty extensive collection. If they are running a sale, the prices are comparable to other shops around town.
Usually the staff is very attentive here. Most of the times too attentive. Today, I was greeted at the door and told about the current sale. awesome! I was then followed to the crystal room and the associate hovered over and watched me. not awesome. The gentleman working there literally stood in the corner of the room and watched me as I sifted through the stones. Feeling a little uncomfortable by this, I acknowledged his presence. Instead of giving me some space to make my selections, he hid around the corner and watched me from there. It felt super awkward. I take a long time to select my crystals and don’t want to feel like someone is watching me. I understand that it is the holidays, but following around your customers as if they are trying to steal from you is not how to make them feel comfortable. I would suggest one of the several other Crystal shops in town if you would like a more comfortable shopping experience.

Very helpful and friendly staff. They have a wide range topics with the store and something for just about everybody. They had alot of things packed into the space and you could spend hours there. We will be back!

A gorgeous singing bowl, numerous crystals, and a pendant necklace chose me today :)
From books and Buddha’s, candles and crystals, prayers flags and jewelry, to windchimes and figurines… this store has it all! It practically bursts at the seams with beautiful things — plan on spending at least an hour exploring.
Questions? Just ask! Everyone was very friendly and willing to help. The handsome resident cat was just the icing on the cake :)

She meant it.
This is a place of serenity, healing, and love. There are fairies and crystals and beautiful artwork and stones and music and gorgeous cards… books, jewelry, flags, candles… it’s incredible. I only spent a half hour there and I’m this blown away.
It’s an amazing establishment that deserves more visitors, more love, and definitely more gratitude. It couldn’t have shown up in my life at a better time.

This is a really good place to get gifts for heartful friends. The owner is such a lovely woman. I always feel good about humanity when I am in this store. There is a wide selection of incense, candles, statuary, audiobooks and gift cards. Bonus — the store plays host to healing arts practitioners on weekends and weekday nights.

This place is awesome, they have an amazing selection of goods. Books, precious stones, candles, beautiful rare items you won’t necessarily find in other stores in the area. Any questions you have about anything metaphysical they will be able to help you. Need a fantastic gift for someone? I’m sure you will find something out of the ordinary here. The lady who owns this store Diane, is amazing and I feel grateful for having a tarot reading from her years ago. at the old location off Tennyson. There are so many workshops and classes you can join as they are constantly changing with new instructors and psychics. I love this store and I don’t go as often as I should

I love the shop! It’s small but because of that you can really interact with the workers. They are so lovely and genuine you will leave in a better mood. Better prices than Isis! They have a lot just ask for help!

Last night I did a large portion of my Holiday shopping for the third year in a row at For Heaven’s Sake. I had thought that I should get more «conventional» gifts this year but some of my friends and family have been hinting that they really like my gifts from past years so I was more than happy to get to do my shopping at a great store with great people. It sure beats the energy of the mall at this time of the year. Plus I always find something fun for myself!
The part of the store that has candles and gems feels a little crowded if the shop is busy which would be the only downside of the new store in my opinion. However, the more convenient parking makes up for it.

I am a huge fan of this place. I’ve been a fan since the store moved to it’s current location on 46^th Ave and I would follow them if they moved again!
This store has served as a gateway to so many cool experiences for me (Reiki, readings, meditations, meeting like minded people, Deeksha, etc.) I encourage you to give the calendar a look and see if there is a class or workshop that appeals to you!
I choose For Heaven’s Sake for all my metaphysical books, as well as gifts, and ceremonial items (sage, candles). They are always getting new merchandise too, so that is a bonus as well.
The staff here are very friendly and helpful. FHS is a very special place!

Joseph, one of the readers, read for me today. He was kind in explaining his process for a few minutes at the beginning and then continuing past the timer he’d set when he felt I needed more of a follow through of what he saw going on in my life. He didn’t charge me for the extra minutes, but I did tip. I was at For Heaven’s Sake for a reading, and the rate of $ 1 per minute was great – it’s a bit more if you schedule outside of their monthly fair which occurs on the fourth weekend of each month. I had called ahead to schedule the reading, but the two readers available today had fairly open schedules even when I got to the store.
Everyone at the store was friendly and willing to explain things, but as I appreciate, they weren’t overbearing.
I probably won’t be getting another reading anywhere for a while again, but in the future, I’d definitely consider returning to For Heaven’s Sake.

I agree with the other reviewer: I liked the older location on 44^th (and Tennyson) a lot better. It seemed bigger. cleaner and brighter. However, I like the overall feeling of the place. It has a good selection of smaller crystals, scarfs, and readers.

I have had many positive experiences at For Heaven’s Sake. From the large selection of books, stones and incense to the wonderful practitioners, I have learned so much about myself from my few visits to this little metaphysical store.
I don’t like the new location as much as the old one but when it comes to healing, it isn’t about the building; it’s about the care you feel from the people in the building– and when I visit For Heaven’s Sake I feel taken care of.
