History

Established in 1999.

Founded as expert in OSHA-​compliant Health and Safety training with just 27 courses, FirstNet has expanded our course catalog to now offer over 700 courses in the critical areas of performance and productivity, law enforcement, management, defensive driving, sales and customer service skills, employment law, business skills, and computer skills.

We know one size does not fit all. FirstNet’s training centers have the flexibility needed by employers and learners today. We specialize in hosted, high-​value, branded, customized online learning solutions providing organizations with a robust Learning Management System (LMS) at a fraction of the cost of others.

Roy B.

Business Owner

Roy has been CEO and Chairman of the Board since 2005 and a Director since 2003. Under his leadership, FNL has grown extensively, forging new strategic relationships, and consistently providing quality service and innovative product offerings to a rapidly growing client base. He brings 30 years of management and ownership experience to FNL, including 20 plus years in the equipment leasing and finance industry where he raised more than $ 2 Billion in both public and private capital and was involved in the initial public offerings of two companies on both the NASDAQ and the NYSE. Over his career, Mr. Burger has been responsible for the development of industry-​first sales, marketing and finance programs with Fortune 500 companies. He has founded and built several successful companies, served on the Boards of a number of organizations, including two NYSE companies, and is active in non-​profit organizations.
