FerZa Crossfit started my crossfit journey a little over three years ago. I had a friend who kept recommending this new Crossfit trend… and when I saw a groupon available for a gym really close to where I lived, I pounced. I have to admit, the first time I walked in, I felt like it wasn’t a good fit. I thought the coach was standoffish, the space itself was small, but the workout hooked me. I eventually came to love FerZa. I was there for less than a year because my husband and I moved away. I will say this: Sisco and Eddie(coaches/owners) want people to be happy at their gym. They became some of my friends, and I looked forward to seeing them and my fellow buddies at the workout each day. FerZa is a great place to get started with crossfit. It’s a really laid back, friendly vibe. If you plan on being a fire breather, or competing regularly, it’s not the place for you. I think the emphasis on form needs to continue to evolve. Give it a try – see if it works for you. The new location on south Broadway is much bigger! Great space for Crossfitting…
