Denver Swim Club

I recently posted a review of this place and stated that I found it mediocre and somewhat unfriendly. People hang out in the jacuzzi area for hours gossiping and will loudly and openly critique someone negatively. It is a motley crew of patrons and can be either hit or miss. I guess it depends on which night you go. I do like a few of the senior staff members and the facility itself is not bad, although I did burn my legs in the «steam room» due to poorly planned steam vents. They do have good music.
After my initial post someone (who it turns out happens to be a surly worker there) responded to my review and told me maybe I should move back to where I am from and then proceeded to tell his co-​workers about my review, just to be petty and stir the pot — Thank you for proving my point EXACTLY. This is my opinion, which I am entitled to. I was tempted to downgrade from two stars to one due to the sheer unprofessionalism.

I’ve been a member here for some time. Recently they have redone the steam room which turned out well. My problem is with the service not the facility. They have raised prices AND shortened your time. Last time I was there on a weekend afternoon I found out there’s nothing like going in to the steam room and sitting on a used condom or lube packet. I don’t know what happened to the discount coupons either. Maybe they got rid of them with the price increase. I guess it’s time to give the Midtowne Spa a try

I have been out there once before, it was okay.

Great place for gay men to hang out and lay nude in the summer time. They do play adult movie and several theme room for action. They used to have a very strict door policy which only allow people who are gym bunnies or young boys in but they have relaxed that rules recently due to the tough economy so I didn’t find many attractive ones since many patrons are married seniors. Having that said, people are eager to mingle and do what they are here for – you see the picture. Be a little patient, you’ll generally find what you are looking for.
