Notice this location closed… much to the chagrin of the arrogant owner. One less terrible pizza joint in Denver. About a 1,000 more to go.

This place is so delicious. We ordered unlimited and piled on the toppings. It was magical. It tasted so fresh. The toppings were perfectly proportioned, the sauce zesty enough etc. The delivery was right on quoted time. I can give it four stars just for that alone. I will eat here many more times.
When it comes to pizza in Denver, not my favourite city for pizza, this is far above the rest.

Overall best pizza I’ve had in Denver! Classic thin crust pizza with a nice crunch and quality ingredients. I met the owner who seemed very passionate and genuine about his store. The only comment to make is the medium pizza we got seemed small for it’s price. I recommend this for anyone looking for a good pie!

Pretty solid pizza. The 5280 is my pie of choice. I moved here from the east coast, so that I have a bar when it comes to pizza. This certainly isn’t NY style by any stretch, but quality is pretty good. Drawbacks? For its size, it’s a bit on the pricey side.

This is a definite pro/​con place. Pros are great: tasty pizza, fresh stuff, friendly staff, and they are open late for the drinkin’ crowd. But the one con is a pretty large one: the «large» here is a smallish medium anywhere else I have ever been. As Lindsay said in her review, the «large» pizza is not enough to feed two adults, and the pricing was on the higher end for what we got. Honestly, I liked the pizza a lot, but was still hungry after eating half. I was honestly thinking they confused my order, but was told the 12″ box was their «large». Naw, I’ll get a real large elsewhere.

I like this place. We have eaten their pizza at least 10 times and it is consistently good. Tonight we ordered the East Colfax, which has a spicy sauce and hamburger topping. Nice thin crust and really good flavor. Always loses something with delivery, so I think it would be even better if you could eat it right out of the oven, but that is not possible at this location, or at least we have not done so and when I have walked by the place seating seems very limited. A good place to get tasty delivery when you are too tired to cook at home.

Their unassuming store front led me to question the validity of the pies. I was pleasantly surprised. Denver Pizza Company has a good slice for a good price. Side Note: The dark and scary hallway leading to the cold and uninviting bathroom was a turnoff and the magazine rack was creepy (you are not at home, you do not need reading material) — a revamp there would be wise.

I’m a pizza scholar (self accredited) to a degree and I am very flexible in terms of style, etc. I appreciate the approach DPC is taking but I just can’t endorse the results or the value. I’m fine with a thin pizza with good flavor, sparse toppings, very little cheese. but it shouldn’t be $ 13 (medium two topping)! A $ 13 medium should be substantial.
The style is similar to an Anthony’s or other NY-​style pie but you don’t get the toppings and you don’t get the value. Sauce is slightly sweet but not overly-​so. The crust is highly hydrated and soft but lacks flavor as though they make it same day. 3 visits in one year and I won’t be back.

Fast, tasty & local.
Their pizzas are pretty decent, and they’ve got a good variety of menu options, plus fun names for their pizzas. And let’s face it, if you can start any order with «I’d like a large Cease & Desist» that’s going to be a pretty solid ordering experience.
They’re a little pricier than some, but cheaper than others. They do, however, have peak pricing options and some pretty great value in their lunch specials — slice of pie and a soda for like $ 6 or something.
I think overall they’re really only 3 stars. They aren’t the best, but (for me) they really won’t be anything disappointing about what you get. It’s almost like they’re an old standby without having been around long enough to be either. But what gets them the 4^th star is the great way they interact with their customers via twitter and facebook. They don’t always talk about specials, and they aren’t always suggesting you visit them and buy a pie (though that’s most of it – but they’re a business, you have to do that when you’re running a business) but they’ll also connect with their customers on a personal level about sports, or pop culture or anything else. It really shows some savvy on the part of the business owners that creating some personal identity with their brand can help build relationships and sales. Plus it’s fun to talk about the Rox with the boys at DPC via twitter, because then I get hungry and need to go get a pizza!

We ordered two, two topping pizzas, so nothing complicated, but one of our pizza’s still came with the wrong toppings. I was also disappointed as they are only about 4 blocks from our house, but the pizza was not hot when it was delivered. The pizza had good flavor, but it was not hot and they messed up the toppings, so we’re not sure we would order again.

god, i hate doing this… i went back. and it just wasn’t good.
the place was a little dirty, the dude putting pizzas in the boxes had gloves on and then handled my money… and then the cinnamon was just too much this time. as i’d bring the slice to my mouth, i felt like i was about to bite into a cinnamon roll, not a piece of pizza. it was all i could taste as i chewed. sigh. total bummer.

Best delivery pizza I’ve had. A little expensive, but well worth it. If you are a fan of spicy, try the Hot Springs Pie… you will not be disappointed.

Pizza and toppings are great, they’re as good as any local place in the city, but what I really go for are the cheesy breadsticks. They’re $ 5 and are great as a entire meal when I’m too lazy to cook and I’ve already been to Chipotle too many times that week. Service is quick and it’s really easy to get in and out for carryout with parking right out front.

I live just west of I-​25, which means all of the non-​chain pizza places refuse to deliver to my home… with the exception of Denver Pizza Company. This was the first sign that I was going to love them. The second of course is the pizza. The 5280 spices on any pizza are delicious and give every bite of your slice so much flavor, it’s ridiculous. The pizza certainly tastes nothing like the box it was delivered in, I even look forward to eating the crust (something I typically avoid at most pizza joints as it’s always hard or too thick).
Their delivery guys have NEVER arrived over the quoted delivery time frame, if anything they always arrive earlier than I anticipated. If you’re not tipping their drivers at least $ 5 on every delivery, you’re doing it all wrong. They’ve earned it for bringing such epic pizza to my door!

Speaking of which they are one of the few Denver companies utilizing their social media the way it should be. They are extremely interactive with their followers and truly care about their patron’s satisfaction and recommendations on improving the company and pizza (if that’s even possible).

Denver Pizza Co is the real deal for thin crust. I’m a connoisseur of NY thin crust. Denver Pizza Co. could sell their pies in NYC. What better compliment could I pay than that? I talked to a couple of the owners and they filled me in on some of their story.
Highlights:
~ I had the 5280, one of their most popular pies: Mozzarella, pepperoni, mushrooms and «a special blend of 5280 spices»
~ Their first location (on W. 11^th Ave) they took over a spice shop. The owners of the spice shop continue to mix special seasonings for their pizzas. You definitely notice the spice’s fragrance and taste = really good.
~ I really liked the crust. It had a nice char on it = excellent.
~ Prices are fair for a gourmet pizza. Around $ 20 for an 18 inch, which I shared with friends.
This was my first order from DPC, it will not be my last. I’m happy to find a good slice in Denver. Overall, 4.5 stars.

Last week I was with a friend of mine who is on a gluten free diet. I used Unilocal on my cell phone to find a place that served gluten free food and this is what I found. The place was easy to find and the staff was friendly when we walked in.
My friend got a whole gluten free pizza and decided she could save whatever she didn’t eat for later. Denver Pizza Company does NOT offer gluten free pizza by the slice. I got a single slice with lamb meat, artichoke and feta cheese. It was about $ 8 for one slice of pizza and a small fountain drink. Seemed a little pricey, but it did taste good! The slice was also HUGE!
I tried a piece of re-​heated gluten free pizza later. As a person who has never had to go gluten free, I will offer my opinion… pretty darn good! I enjoyed it. Overall, this place was pretty decent. I don’t know if I’ll go out of my way to eat here again, but it is nice to know that there are some places in town that have specialty diet items on their menu. For those of you that cannot eat gluten, I highly recommend this place!

My new favorite! I grabbed two pizzas here on a pretty solid recommendation and it was an amazing decision! It was gluten free, which is always amazing. I’m not allergic to it, but find things generally settle better when it isn’t involved! So if given the chance, I definitely avoid! All the toppings were fresh, unique and absolutely delicious! A perfect amount of sauce and the tastes were perfect (I got the Boulder)! Extremely reasonable in pricing. There is absolutely NO excuse to order gross chain pizza again! I’m so happy there is one downtown too! Think I will be trying the Hero this weekend! Thanks DPC!
