Corner House

Corner House is perfect for you if you’re a hipster who wants to only enjoy a few bites of food. Seriously, we had to go for second dinner after having a meal here because the portions (along with menu selection) were ridiculously tiny.
We came in on a Saturday night because I had a Living Social that needed to be used and they only had a hightop table available along with seats along the window. We sat at the community high top table and that’s probably gonna be your option when you come here because there were only about five or six tables in the place, this place is small.
Servers were friendly enough but they were hustling because it was busy. I think the highlight of the night was when I asked our server for an iced tea and they told me they didn’t serve that. I thought my boyfriend was going to have to push my chin back up because I was amazed that they didn’t have iced tea. I guess them and their patrons are too blasé for a commoners drink like iced tea. I had the steak and it was tasty thanks to a carmelized onion purée but it was only a few bites and even more so since we were splitting our dishes. My boyfriend got the seafood red curry and there were only a few bites of various seafood (mussels, crawfish, etc.) so I didn’t want to marsh his mellow by stealing too many bites. They only had about four or five entrees on the menu with no sandwiches on the dinner menu which stinks because sometimes you just want a sandwich.
I don’t need a selection like Cheesecake Factory but appreciate places that have more than five items to pick from. Perhaps I’m just not hip enough (or don’t make enough money) for a place like this. The bill around $ 55 with a $ 30 Living Social bill to apply so we still had to foot out a pretty penny, talk about a Living Social fail!

If this was advertised as a place for tapas, I’d totally understand. Instead, they charge full price for meals that look insignificant compared to many other restaurants in the area. The servings were so little that we had to go out for a second dinner somewhere else. oy! Service is pretty good, yet a bit scattered. I don’t think I’ll ever come back or recommend this place. The restaurant is in a great area so I’m sure they will have no problems attracting more people to come here. However, a business is also built on repeat business and good service/​product. The latter which they lack. Oh well… moving on.

If I could give lower than a one star rating, Corner House would be the place I’d give it to. I’m basically fuming from the experience I just had there and although I don’t like to write rash Unilocal reviews, I feel this restaurant deserves this one.
I just had brunch there and here’s how things went: we were sat right away as the restaurant was pretty empty, we ordered drinks, they brought the wrong one out for me, then didn’t bring out the drink I actually ordered for at least 20 minutes. An HOUR after we ordered our food, our server told us they were «out of waffles» (don’t even ask me how you run out of flour, eggs, sugar and milk…) so my friend ordered something else and our food finally came out at 12:35 (we got there at ELEVEN!). The food was just okay but I was really too upset with the service to pay much attention to it.
Several lightyears later, our waiter brought our check. He had comped my friend’s meal so the bill was only $ 16. I had bought a Living Social deal of $ 13 for $ 30 so when I asked if I was able to use it on our $ 16 bill our waiter told me it would only save me a dollar so not to bother. So I ended up paying the $ 16 PLUS the $ 13 I had already paid for the deal… Do not even ask me how that makes sense.
I WILL NEVER EVER BE BACK HERE AGAIN.

If I lived closer to the Corner House I would be there every weekend. I live in Parker and it’s well worth the drive and I can’t say that about a lot of places.
The décor is organic. I walk in and I get a calming and friendly vibe from the entire space.
The service — the few times I have been there it has always been stellar. My coffee is never empty and the food is timed nicely. They make you feel like one of the family.
The food — There is something for everyone. It’s both focused and diverse at the same time. The flavor combinations and choices are spot on and really make me happy.
This past weekend I had brunch and it did not disappoint. What magically hit our table were Oysters Rockefeller, Black Beans (more like a dip), Clam Chowder, Quinoa/​Spinach Salad, and Belgium Waffles.
The stand out dish was the Oysters Rockefeller. I always give extra credit to a dish than can change my mind about a particular food item. This did that as I’m not a fan of cooked oysters. The toppings made this with an odd combination of chorizo, spinach and ginger — it was phenomenal. The presentation of the Black Beans immediately took me to the Shrimp Cocktail scene in Beetlejuice. I waited for a moment after it was placed on the table but it didn’t start dancing and grabbing everyone’s face. It would have been so cool if it had but it didn’t. It was yummy to say the least.
What I loved about the Clam Chowder is that they let it stand on it’s own. Unlike the stuff that comes in the can that is almost solid and could possibly stand on it’s own. This was much more light and it didn’t feel heavy as it let the flavors of the natural ingredients stand on their own. I paired that with the Quinoa/​Spinach Salad which was also nicely presented and tasted fresh and clean. My dining companion had the Belgium Waffles and she was not disappointed.
One of my favorite items on the menu is the coffee, which comes from Elevation Coffee Company. It’s a medium to dark roast but doesn’t take like it and is served with real cream and little golden nuggets of cane sugar. If you haven’t tried this it will change the way you want your coffee.

Best meal I ate in Denver!
After running a half marathon, my friends and I were hungry for something but didn’t know what. Scanning Unilocal,I came across the high ratings for this place and it sounded good. We were all glad I made the decision to come here.
We had to wait a bit for a table but were able to get drinks and sit by the round windows up front. Bloody Mary was full of horseradish, just the way I like it! Another friend ordered a Geri Halliwell which was also outstanding.
We got seated at a table looking out onto the park and proceeded to order. Horseradish devilled eggs were amazing. My friend got some type of soup which was delicious. For entrees, one friend had the breakfast burrito. It was outstanding! And huge! I had the short rib chiliquiles… they were delicious and very filling. Pairing them with fruit was a wonderful idea.
Two other friends got soup and sandwich and they both chose the curry chicken sandwich. Let me tell you what… days later they are still talking about how that was the best sandwich they ever had.
Service was perfect all around. Everyone with whom we interacted was friendly, informative and made us feel very welcome. Not to mention that the design of the place is gorgeous.
Denver is fortunate to have such an awesome restaurant. I love it and if I go back to Denver, you better believe I’ll eat here again.

Portions. I don’t necessarily need to leave a restaurant feeling stuffed to the gills, but I do like to leave a restaurant feeling like I ate dinner. Both the wife and I left here after dinner and had to go home and make dinner. We also spent over $ 60 on food and drink. It was probably the worst price to portion ratio that I’ve seen in Denver. Maybe ever.
First, the space is pretty neat, but also pretty loud. It’s definitely a small restaurant, and small restaurants get loud easily. I liked the layout of the strange triangular space, though. Service was slow and seemingly understaffed, but everyone was super friendly, so it wasn’t the end of the world.
The salads we had were good, especially the grilled avocado salad. Could have used some more avocado, but the dressing on it and the house salad were both tasty and different. The house salad is basically a small bundle of weeds, but the grilled avocado was one of the best salads I’ve had.
It was the entrees that killed us. I want to make it clear that everything we had was good. I had the short rib which was cooked absolutely perfectly. It had a great crispy crust and fell apart when forked. The potatoes it came with were great and garlicky, and when you combined the meat with the potatoes and the beet purée, it was very, very good. That said, it could have used a vegetable, because it was just a small piece of meat with about half of a mashed potato, and as such, was a little one note.
The most disappointing thing was the gnocchi, which was literally a small bowl with about 9 or 10 gnocchi in it and a sprig of broccolini. This entrée cost something like $ 14. Gnocchi is something we go to regularly when we’re out, and I’ve never seen such a bland, uninteresting plate of food. At over $ 1 per bite you’d expect them to be f-​ing amazing, but they were pretty standard. I don’t know how you can call this an entrée with a clear conscience, though.
So maybe they’re catering to a crowd of 90 lb weaklings who can get by on half a cup of food for dinner. But that ain’t us, and we won’t be back.

Beatrice & Woodsley meets neighborhood pub in Jefferson Park. Great design — reclaimed wood throughout with industrial flair. We came in on a sleepy Sunday to nurse our hangovers… Spicy short rib chilaquiles & a Bloody Mary were just the fix we needed. The French toast bread pudding with maple butter was the BOMB. I will dream about this. We can’t wait to come back for happy hour, 3−6pm weekdays…
My Bloody Mary was a bit too spicy for me & as a heads up the chilaquiles are kind of like nachos, but delicious amazing nachos.

My favorite part of this experience was the staff. The food was great but when you have people who are awesome it maks eveything 100% awesome!
The drink menu insane and equally yummy. However for the Yankees like myself remember the altitude. .you’ll be laid out at the table on your first sip.

Bottomless mimosas for $ 11 that come in a full stemless wineglass pour? Sign. Me. Up. Well, actually I signed myself up and I got just that.
Sir Nicholas and I headed to Corner House for brunch one weekend morning and there was no one in the place at 11 am. Although, it did fill up rather quickly around noon so I guess the «early» birds got the worm? The interior is small and warm (not in temperature, but in ambiance.) There are rich wood walls and tables and even though it doesn’t look comfortable it is. And the menu is interesting. I tried the grilled avocado salad that every raves about and would just like to add my enjoyment of it to the masses. I also ordered the Bacon Asparagus Frittata that I wholeheartedly enjoyed, too.
I’m definitely interested in coming back to try dinner at some point and the next time I’m looking for bottomless mimosas Corner House will be at the top of my choices.

My experience at Corner House for brunch was a good one. I anticipated a wait but it was practically empty when we arrived at 11am on Sunday (brunch starts at 9). I kind of like waiting (a reasonable amount of time) to be seated. It extends the dining experience. I also don’t mind waiting for food for this reason, as long as I’m not in a rush.
That said, it did get busier throughout our time there and we ended up staying for more than an hour.
Since we had a Groupon to fulfill, we started with an appetizer of horseradish deviled eggs. Three eggs halved into six pieces was perfect for two to share. The horseradish was dominant, but I enjoyed the zing. The eggs where a little too firm for my liking, having been refrigerated at least overnight. I prefer the softness of a recently hard-​boiled egg.
For my entrée I selected the Short Rib Chiliquiles. It reminded me partly of enchiladas and partly of day-​old nachos. The corn chips were softened by the beef and accompanying sauce to become more like soft-​shell corn tortillas. The dish worked quite well. Only after finishing my meal did I look back to the menu and discover that it was missing the avocado and lime crema. I saw the dish come out to another table afterward piled high with avocado and I couldn’t deny my jealousy. The waitress was kind enough to take a few dollars off of the bill for the mistake.
For dessert we were interested in the Chai Tea Panna Cotta but were told it was recently taken off the menu (though still on both the printed and online menus). Instead we opted for the fresh berries and cream, much to our delight. The berries sat in a lightly whipped cream and surrounded a scoop of vanilla ice cream, which was then topped with what seemed vanilla extract, but was listed as coffee caramel.
Since we had a few dollars taken off I ordered an iced mocha to go. It was a nice pick-​me-​up but nothing outstanding. The chocolate flavor was lacking and the espresso flavor was not much more impressive.
Wrapping up, I enjoyed my morning at Corner House and the service was impressive. Two waitresses checked in on us cheerily throughout our visit. Problems were resolved to my satisfaction. I’d gladly return for another brunch outing or to experience their much talked about cocktail list.

Corner House has that rustic, industrial modern thing going for it, complemented with a wall full of alcohol. Oh, delicious alcohol.
I had the opportunity to try their Chilaquiles Pulled Pork and it is pretty darn good. Their sides weren’t anything to write home about, but pair it with a delicious $ 11 bottomless mimosa and I’m sure you won’t be writing anything at all.
Nice cozy spot. I just wish I could have it closer to my neighborhood.

Not at all impressed. The restaurant was small and unbelievably loud and noisy. I don’t know how many members of the waitstaff asked if we had reservations – it wasn’t even that busy. Since we didn’t have reservations, we were asked to sit along the edge of the restaurant at bar stools overlooking the street. The seating was awkward with our backs turned to the rest of the restaurant (we could never see the waitress coming).
Everything on the menu sounded good, but the taste did not deliver. The bacon and asparagus frittata was bland. For being «farm fresh,» I don’t think I’ve ever had such flavorless eggs (not even a hearty dose of hot sauce could save them). The fruit bowl was equally disappointing. A small, meager portion of overly ripe and borderline mealy fruit (not to mention it only featured two varieties of melon rather than a medley of various fruits). The mimosas were decent, but at $ 11 for unlimited refills, the drink cost more than the entrée itself.
Overall, a fairly disappointing experience.

I really really really wanted to give this place five stars. I mean, it came in where there used to be a hair salon/​coffee shop (I’m not kidding… who the heck wants a perm flavored latte?) and is walking distance from my work. I finally convinced a co-​worked to go with me, and we tried them out yesterday.
The décor is nice, although almost over the top woodsy. Fine. The music was a little over loud, but was pure 50s, so I’ll take it (a little walk down memory lane for both of us). The menu is vegetarian friendly, and food is priced appropriately for this type of venue; fabulous.
The missing star? The service. Not only did our service suck (water empty for 10+ minutes, 20 minutes between our salad and meals, etc), but the table next to us waited equally as long, one of the three was given the wrong dish, and another of the three didn’t even get served his meal until the other two were done.
So why four stars, when service like that would usually drop them to two or three? Because the food is bloody amazing. We shared the Grilled Avocado salad to start with, and while simple, it was delicious and tasty. Then we got the Portabello Panini (with tomato jam, spinach and cherve cheese) and the Pear and Manchego Panini (with stone ground mustard and spinach), and each took half of each. Beyond ridiculously good. We definitely needed the salad in order to feel full, but ye gods, the food was fabulous. Add to that the serving of Rocky Mountain Ginger Beer and Teatulia teas, and I was a happy camper.
I’ll be back, I’m sure. Just will have to try and avoid the 1:30pm lunch rush (what?) cause apparently that is when the service is a bit iffy.

I never heard of the Corner House until the Westword recently announced the winners for Toques & ‘Tails. They won the cocktail competition and they have a happy hour. Perfect for my happy hours Friday and I was pumped for their Ham and Cheese listed on the online Happy Hour menu.
Cautionary word: they don’t offer the Ham and Cheese for happy hour. Crushed dreams. Deviled eggs have replaced them as the menu has changed and they can’t offer their current Ham and Cheese appetizer plate at a good HH price point. That’s fine, but it’s another reminder that if the paper menu updates, so should the online version.
I settled in with their «Ain’t Nobody Got Thyme For That» cocktail featuring rum, cachaca (Leblon is not another rum as I was told), thyme and ginger agave, Breckenridge bitters, and lime. It was a satisfying warm weather drink. While waiting for my friend, I ordered their olive oil, rosemary, chili, garlic and salt flavored roasted almonds.
Once my friend arrived, we individually ordered the Grilled Polenta with shaved asparagus, roasted fennel, queso de mano, black olive yogurt, the Ham and Cheese plate with prosciutto, ciabatta, herbed mallow, two types of cheese (one soft, another medium), and some candied nuts, and the Lemon Bar with herbed ricotta and (name a dark color) berry jam. I’d love to supplement my poor memory, but the website needs updating in several areas.
The grilled polenta was a simple dish. It appears light, but I was quite full when I left. I especially enjoyed the asparagus and black olive yogurt. My friend was in love with her prosciutto. She’d take the ciabatta, smear herbed mallow, layer it with prosciutto, then some cheese, some nuts, fold it in half, and make it «talk» before she ate it. Play food is good food.
The Lemon Bar was solid, though I could have used more lemon. I enjoyed the chewy texture and its denseness. I’d kill for more ricotta right now.
The final word: if you have approximately a ½−¾ shot of olive oil, rosemary, chili, salt and garlic mix remaining from your roasted almonds, don’t shoot it. If there’s money involved, go head, but if there’s not, take a pass. It’s spicy, salty, the rosemary gets everywhere in your teeth.

Came here on a Sunday night with a group of 8. Made reservations and was seated promptly. There weren’t that many other customers there but… there will be.
The place is fantastic looking! So cozy, dark wood, rustic. Everything hipster and local!
The drink menu is full of hilariously named cocktails «Ain’t nobody got thyme for that» and «Oj did it». Not only that, but they were spicy, sweet, and delicious.
Although the menu boasts «small» plates they aren’t THAT small. My husband and I ended up ordering quite a few dishes and got stuffed. In a good way.
Now let me just say that we have been trying to do this «paleo diet» for a few weeks and this place had such great options. Even my vegetarian friends were happy with the menu.
Appetizers:
–Tuna poke: thick chunks of fresh tuna and huge slices of avocado.
–Spinach salad: perfect mix of freshness, crunch, and the dressing was light.
Main course:
–Pei mussels: big and juicy! Came with 3 slices of toast that I wanted to dip in the broth so bad but… paleo diet.
–Short Rib: Did i mention I dropped my knife and had to cut through this juicy, tender meat with just a fork. Delicious.
They were unfortunately out of the white shrimp cocktail AND icecream. My friends had to eat their chocolate bread pudding DRY. Not even a sauce or anything. First world problem but for a new restaurant, keep that in stock!
But, service was great. and we had such a great time! Corner house is definitely going to be one of the up and coming restaurants in Denver! I swear it!

Ya wanna be cool? I mean really really cool? Ya wanna be not just a step or two ahead of the crowd, but 5 light years on down the road already?
Here’s what ya do: Tell your eatin’ partner that you’re going out to this neat new place on the west side. S/he’ll think you mean LoHi, but LoHi, well, that’s so 1990’s compared to where I’m sendin’ you. I’m sending you over to the Jefferson Park area. (Never heard of it, have you?:). I live kinda semi-​nearby, but the only people who really know about this place are either folks looking for cheap free parking north of Invesco Field, of us sorry-​ass men on the way to TUCC:) (

The Corner House is making the most delicious paninis that I know about in the City these days. We ordered 2 for lunch and since they’re nicely split in half my budette and I traded halves. Both were outta-​sight incredible – a perfect pear of paninis, and that’s no mistake:).
The smoked curry chicken thigh panini came with brie, pear, pickled onions and scallion mayonnaise, and was incredible. But when followed by the pear and manchego panini with spinach, apple chutney and fresh ground mustard, it became a pleasure palace of fine dinin’ fun. I chose the arugula green salad as a side and my friend chose some still-​warm kettle chips. Unfortunately, we didn’t have room for dessert.
The Corner House, however, has now joined my list of super new places to which you bet I’ll be returning soon. And you should head on over. It was lightly used while we were there, and with the kind of food they’re serving, it should be packed every day.

Quality, not quantity. 3.5 stars rounding up reviewing drinks only:
This place is too fancy pants for me, but if you are into swankiness this is the spot for you! First off this place is tiny, the staff was on top of each other in the bar and kitchen area and there are about 5 seats at the bar. The design is great, but small so I can see this place becoming trendy and crowded like an exclusive specialty spot. It did have a great energy and feel both inside and out.
We ordered a dirty vodka martini and a manhattan. Yes they were amazing! But they were also expensive and about 6 oz each. We sat at the bar and they had an array of accoutrements in jars in front of us that were delightful to the eye, but nothing garnished our drinks aside from the empty TWO olives and the cherry in the manhat. Plus the snobby bartender was blow-​torching lemons when we came in and I asked him what he was making them for and he said ‘for fun, I am a pyro’, so I asked what I could order that would feature them cuz they looked great and he all but ignored me.
Why the four stars you ask? There was a wall of booze that they said they are trying to keep local products on and that was the tastiest manhattan I’d ever sampled. Plus, you can tell that they are trying really hard to be awesome. But, almost too hard. I didn’t try any food except for the dessert which was fine, but very small and very expensive. This place will be a success, if it is your style you will love it. If you are a dive bar connoisseur, skip this one.

Corner House just opened and on their third day a group of us ventured on by to feel out the place and sample their menu.
The cozy location right on the corner with lots of natural light, wood walls, custom wood tables and chairs and a fun vibe overall.
Their menu is small but somehow there is still a variety of options to choose from. Since we arrived shortly before the lunch-​dinner menu transition we opted to order from the lunch menu. Two Panini’s cut into four’s for a Unilocal sampler and a bowl of the Green Chili.
My favorite was the Curry Smoked Chicken Thigh Panini served with Brie, pickled onions, and a scallion mayo. It has a hint of Indian flavor with that green curry hitting your tongue and tantalizing your taste buds. My taste buds were doing a happy dance. We also tried the Roast Beef Panini with horseradish, spinach, and cheddar cheese sauce. A solid Panini, I would have preferred some more kick with the horseradish — I want that punch of flavor in the front when I see the horseradish in the dish. The home made chips served along side were a nice side and were used as vessels to finish off the sides of sauce. The Green Chili was served in a big bowl with a dollop of sour cream in the middle. Overall the Chili had great depth of flavor, the layers were impressive and you can tell there was a lot of thought put into the creation of this dish. With that said it needed some heat. When I order Green Chili I expect some heat in my throat, some tingly lips and I was missing that. Add some heat and this will be a top notch dish for me.
Onto dessert, we couldn’t help ourselves. We ordered the Chocolate Bread Pudding with vanilla bean ice cream and the Poached Pear with Gorgonzola with spiced pistachios and sabayon. I want to emphasize that the first word on the Bread Pudding was Chocolate. No one at the table tasted any chocolate. It tasted more like a spiced cake of some kind, definitely not chocolate. The fruit and ice cream with the Bread Pudding was very tasty. Next time, add chocolate and I may be more satisfied. The Poached Pear dessert with Gorgonzola was the highlight of the afternoon. Pear poached in white wine and paired beautifully with the Gorgonzola, That creamy cheese really added another layer of flavor to the dish. We polished off the dish quickly and scraped the plate for the remnants of the sublime sabayon.
Third day open and this place impresses already!
**No HH yet, something they are working on for the future. I hope it’s a good one, I can definitely see this as a great HH hot spot.
A small menu but it’s one that highlights local produce and showcases Matt Selby’s unique take on food. I can’t wait to see this place explode on the Denver scene and people flocking to try some great food.

I am very happy that we were able to check out the Corner House so soon after its opening. We came here on a sunny Friday afternoon. I have to say, the place is so visually striking and unique that the impact of it keeps coming through, even after you have been there a while. The have used harvested pine beetle-​kill wood throughout the space. Much of the wall is done in alternating horizontal stripes of light and dark wood. Aside from the visual factor, you can actually smell the wood, which contributes to the ambiance. The chairs at the tables are angle iron and slabs of wood. They are surprisingly solid and heavy. It was comfortable for the first hour or so, and then seemed somewhat less so after that.
Matt Selby and the rest of his crew have obviously been burning the midnight oil getting the place up and running. The borderline exhaustion (and excitement) was apparent on so many of the faces. They don’t have a happy hour established as yet. However, they have a full bar, some very nice beers, some good wine, and some excellent signature cocktails. I tried the «Three-​Oh-​Three» cocktail. It is leopold brothers whiskey, dancing pines chai, apple cider, and angostura bitters. It is served on the rocks in a short glass. There is a garnish of an apple slice dusted with cinnamon. When I popped this garnish in my mouth, I quickly found the clove hiding underneath. POW! My mouth went numb from the big hit of clove. It was a bit off-​putting, but this is a powerful cocktail overall, so I felt it was just part of the experience. The intense whiskey flavors with the bitters made me think of a strong apple-​Manhattan if you will. I thought it rather good.
We were a bit early (3:30pm) for the dinner menu, so we made some selections off the lunch menu. We split two of the panini. Of the two, I preferred the Curry Smoked Chicken Thigh Panini (with colorado brie, picked onions, and scallion mayonnaise). It had a subtle green curry flavor, with lots of other elements going on. The chips on the side were quite tasty as well. I thought the Corner House Roast Beef Panini (with horseradish, spinach, and local cheddar cheese sauce) was good, but could have used a bit more «kick». We also split a bowl of the Green Chili. It had a velvety texture, nicely cooked pork, and some deep flavors. It was quite tasty, however, I really wanted significantly more heat from this dish. The tortilla on the side was nicely grilled.
For dessert, we split the Chocolate Bread Pudding with vanilla bean ice cream and the Poached Pear and Gorgonzola with spiced pistachios and sabayon. I am not a big fan of bread pudding most of the time. This seemed more like a spiced (gingerbread?) chocolate to my palate. I did enjoy the fresh berries on the bottom of this dish quite a bit. The Poached Pear, in my opinion, was the best bite I had all day. The sweet pear, the sharp and salty cheese, the rich pistachio, and the creamy sabayon all came together in a miniature flavor orgy (seriously).
I will definitely be back, and I anticipate this place will get even better in the near future. One final note, our server (noted on the receipt as «Mustache») was excellent. We really enjoyed talking with him.

3 stars would be too low, but I don’t think CH is in 4+ territory quite yet. Having no 3.5 option, I rounded up in this case.
As a neighborhood eatery, CH hits its mark. It’s a nice place to start the evening or enjoy a secluded lunch off the beaten Highlands /​LoHi path, but I wouldn’t christen it a destination venue thus far.
The understated menu is simple and nicely executed. Flavors are clean and dishes are presented well. The mussels are very popular and I can see why, as it’s one of the better interpretations I’ve ever had. I’d also recommend the poke bowl – which needs a sauce to bring it all together – and the almonds were fun to gnaw on.

Drinks wise, I would have been more comfortable if my tasty $ 12 Western Slope was closer to the $ 8 – 9 range, but I appreciate the craftsmanship. The cocktails feel steep (pun intended), but I get it.

About the ambiance itself, I enjoyed taking in the décor and all the subtle design touches, however the space is tiny. It gets loud and stuffy when it’s full, so it’s not a good venue for large groups of more than four. CH is ideal for the solo couple.
Overall, it needs a bit more tweaking, but the ‘House definitely has the potential to be a home.
