Our home was built in 1907, and we needed repairs to the original stained glass in our foyer. It was warping and you could see through the metal edging to outside. We called them and they were prompt and polite. The window was carefully removed and taken to their shop, where it was restored and cleaned within a week. They installed the window today, and we also had them add a storm sash to protect the stained glass. We couldn’t be happier with the way the window looks now as well as the added security of the sash. Jim is a cordial, knowledgeable business owner. Both he and his employees were polite, even wiping their feet before coming inside. These guys are doing great work, at fair prices, to maintain these historical art pieces. I recommend them whole heartedly.

We love our windows. The design blends wonderfully with the 1901 windows in other parts of our home. And the more modern glass we chose for the bath looks great! Very efficient and easy to work with. They even did a great job on our repair. Thank You Jim and Co.

Jim is an old school craftsman that isn’t out to gouge his customers, he is a good human being. I brought in my wife’s stained glass that I ham-handedly crunched moving from Seattle to Denver, after Jim spent some time analyzing the damage, he decided one of his customers that buys materials from him would be a better source for the repair work(required ‘re-heating’ some thicker glass). Jim sold me $ 5 worth of material, and sent me on my way to provide the materials I purchased from him to the repair person he recommended. We also had a nice chat about ‘life’ … I think I was in his workshop for a good 2 hours shoot’n the breeze. Guys like Jim just don’t exist much any more, interacting with Jim is like finding a gold nugget on the surface of the earth. ;) I will be sending Jim all the business I can find for him … Jim also gave me a reference for a company to do replacement windows in my house, I think instead of buying ‘privacy glass’ for a few of the replacement windows, I’ll have Jim put stained glass inserts in instead of ‘frosted glass’. Some business owners are simply worth working with, Jim is one of those business owners. I know Commercial Art Glass did the stained glass at new business in my neighborhood, West 29th(Wheatridge). Or just stop on by his shop to meet the man in the flesh and check out some of his other works available for purchase, you won’t regret it …

We hired Commercial Art Glass to replace the regular glass in the windows in our family room with a patterned glass that would screen us from the neighbors. The price was very reasonable and the job was finished perfectly. The most amazing part was the turnaround time. I figured a job like this would take a week or more. The windows were out of my house on Wednesday and back on Thursday — totally finished. Jim, the owner, is very nice and clearly remembers his past clients and jobs — even telling you which of your neighbors have used him. Highly recommended.

Even though this is mainly a commercial stained glass company, they treated our 2 residential tiffany style lamps with great care and concern. The owner, Jim was very knowledgeable about our pieces and went into detail what he would do to repair our pieces. This was the kind of business we were looking for to repair our lamps and the service, price and craftsmanship were great. We were expecting it to take 3 – 4 weeks for completion, and he had them repaired by the end of the week. Glad we found this store, and gladly recommend them.
