Nice little local ‘chain’, they have 3 stores. Rusti at the lohi location spent a good deal of time helping me out with selecting a road bike. They have some pretty exclusive bikes and parts and aren’t overpriced. They offer a nice added value of 5 Free annual tune-​ups if you buy a bike from them. Definitely recommend checking them out if you’re in the market for a bike or accessories.

I am admittedly not big into biking (I owe a $ 100 Schwinn from Wal-​Mart), but needed to get the tube replaced on a flat tire. I was slightly concerned about going into a specialty bike shop as I’ve had bad experiences in the past with similar shops due to pretentious/​critical staff being rude, egotistical or pressuring me to spend a bunch of money on something I don’t want/​need.
My experience at Colorado Cycling Connection couldn’t have been better. The staff was incredibly nice, knowledgeable and not the slightly bit judgmental of my junky bike. The prices seemed very cheap to me and they swapped out the old tube, pumped both tires and had me on my way in a matter of minutes. I will definitely be back for my future bike needs and highly recommend them to anyone else in need of bike help… just wish I was more into biking so I could give them my business.

Thanks C3 for helping me set up my disc brakes properly. I tried putting some new brakes on my commuter bike myself and got a little over my head. The C3 guys were very helpful and got them installed correctly without making me feel dumb in the process. You’d be surprised how many other shops around have egos. They even cleaned up my bike and gave it back to me looking sweet. I also enjoy drooling over their sweet bikes in-​stock. They had a Lamborghini BMC Commuter bike in-​stock. Who has that?!

These guys (Vaughn and Wade) did a great job tuning up my Santa Cruz 29 incher and my wife’s old Gary Fisher. The turn around time was fast, and they took extra care to address some small items that I didn’t even know existed. Plus, Vaughn spent some extra time with my wife to ensure she was properly fitted on her bike. Great bike shop and wonderful service.

Not surprised that this page is chock-​full of gleaming reviews. I thought I’d leave another, as these guys definitely earned it…
For starters, Wade, Vaughan, and the rest of the staff are knowledgeable and all-​around awesome. These guys have a genuine love for cycling, and it shows.
I was not necessarily the easiest customer they’ve had, and I appreciate how far they went to make sure I was happy and taken care of.
I brought in a Focus mountain bike with several drivetrain issues. The problem is, these bikes are made in Germany and rare in the USA. We encountered an issue with the deraileur hanger, which needed to be special ordered from Germany and shipped to an authorized Focus dealer. When it arrived, Wade sent his mechanic across town on an e-​bike to pick the part up so they could have me back up and running as soon as possible. Although this was a lengthy process and an absolute headache (by no fault of C3), they bent over backwards to make sure I was satisfied. While I was waiting, Wade cut me a deal on a Cannondale Jekyll demo (SICK bike!) to ride around for a couple days while they fixed my bike.
You don’t see this kind of customer service very much anymore in bike shops, and this was something I appreciated greatly. I’ll now be preaching the gospel of C3. Thanks guys!

I have been visiting this location since it was a tent in the parking lot the first summer that they opened. Wade and his staff have continued to be a go to source for all things «bike». I have taken several bikes there for repairs and restoration and recently purchased a new bike. It is great to have a local source that I trust and never hesitate to send people to.

I absolutely love this place. Wade and the rest of the staff are some of the most helpful, patient and least judgmental people I’ve met.
I came here about 6 months ago for the first time because the gears kept skipping on my road bike. I know very little about bikes, and had 2 other people look at it before taking it here. I was able to drop it off for a weekend while I went out of town. It was ready when I got back, and finally working again for the first time in months. So I decided to head back there yesterday to get my first pair of bike shoes/​clip pedals.
I’ve never had clip ins or bike shoes before, so I didn’t know what to expect and was afraid of looking really dumb. Everyone was so patient and helpful. They explained the difference between the mountain vs road bike shoes, gave recommendations for what they thought I’d like better, made sure the shoes fit well, got the pedals on my bike, and were incredibly patient as I practiced clipping and unclipping. The whole process made me feel incredibly comfortable and confident I won’t fall over quite as many times as I get used to riding with bike shoes. It was a really great experience and the folks there are just fun to be around.
C3 is a great local business and I’m excited to continue supporting them as I explore the wonderful world of cycling.

It has been two months since my first visit, and subsequent purchase from C3 and I’m happy to say that Wade and his crew continue to impress me. Finding the right bike is only the first step. Wade made it clear that they want to have an ongoing relationship with their customers. Initially, since I had not ridden for several years, Wade suggested that I get used to my bike before considering clip-​less pedals. Knowing that I would eventually go clip-​less he recommended a reasonably priced pedal for my bike that had a flat side (for non-​cleated shoes) and a clip-​less side for bike shoes with cleats. After a few weeks, and several bike outings I went in to get fitted for shoes with cleats. Vaughn took a great amount of time and care in attaching the cleats in the appropriate spot on my shoes and then worked with me on how to «clip in and out.» I must say that the parking lot next to Old Major is a great place to practice. Another great experience.
Since then I’ve been back several times with questions and for minor adjustments — and occasionally I just stop and say hi while out on a ride. They are always welcoming and even when very busy, they take the time to address my needs. It’s clear that they just love what they do and genuinely enjoy seeing their customers.
I understand that Wade is about to open a second C3 at Colfax and Forest. This can only be a great asset to that neighborhood.

A true 5 stars (the kind that makes me question whether I should reconsider my other 5star reviews because this really deserves a 6th star).
I’m an odd duck. My family moved a lot, I never owned or learned to bike as a kid, and it wasn’t until a kind soul taught me at the end of college that I really learned how to bike. Still never naturally comfortable on it, and always been a little afraid to be called out by real cyclists such as those you’d imagine work in a bike shop.
So I managed to test ride myself into Old Major’s patio basically, narrowly missing by jumping off. Well that happened. The BF was laughing his ass off, and if I wasn’t completely mortified, I’d laugh at myself too. Wade was completely unflustered and kind. This pretty much sums up the rest of my experience.
Now I’m exploring some of Denver’s bike trails, and it’s really improving my QOL here!

I went to C3 for a bike fitting today and was incredibly impressed by Wade and Kashi (spelling?). In his interactions with me and other customers, it is apparent why C3 is the top bike shop in Denver.
Wade took no shortcuts in my fitment; we turned over every stone and analyzed every reasonable possibility. When we finally arrived at the correct setup, I was amazed at how comfortable my ride was. I am most appreciative of how Wade explained the science behind the angles and how it affects my ride quality.
The service prices are very reasonable — I have tremendous respect for a local shop that does honest, great work, charges a reasonable price, and truly emphasizes customer service (shoutout to Ollie’s Barbershop, down the road).
I will, without hesitation, go back to C3 for future service and products. I’m ecstatic that I’ve found a terrific bike shop, run by a fantastic staff.

I returned the next day to make a list of all the other items you need (water bottle, etc.) when you buy a bike. I wanted to get brand/​model/​prices so to be prepared on the big day.
Vaughn was great. I had my piece of paper and pen. He said: Let me create a record for your wife and I will put all of this into the notes section. Awesome.

This was the best visit (for my wife and me) to a bike store that we have had.
Wade was great!
Asked questions.
Took measurements to calculate a fit.
Explained why the Cannondale Synapse was the right bike given our budget and her riding wants/​needs.

Don’t go anywhere else! They set my boys up with balance bikes and gave us a great deal when we traded the first one in for a pedal bike. They’ve built the bikes we’ve bought super fast and even hooked my little guy up with a flat repair on the spot. They then let him pump up the tires a bit, definitely something requiring a bit of patience.
With this kind of service we will be getting bikes here for years to come. Check out this local shop, you won’t be disappointed.

Super nice guys where a lot of bike shops out there will act belittling if you don’t appear to have some sort of expert bike knowledge, they are really patient and explain everything out to you in order to ensure that you’re making the best purchase.
I came in on a Sunday with my rear hub bearings making a ton of noise. I thought my wheel was done, but they insisted that they could get to the bearings, so I left it with them and bought a new rear wheel as well for back-​up. Rode away a happy guy.
