I’ve noticed that I’ve been giving all these art galleries on Santa Fe solid fours for various reasons. Nonetheless, this simply just doesn’t suit my character. I mean come-on, 4’s all around? High-fives and now we can all go home? I think not! Which means it is now time to cut one of the galleries on Santa Fe down to size, and it just so happens that the Co Art gallery fits the bill. What I remember of this place wasn’t too much, since it was entirely unimpressive. The paintings looked amateurish, not well done, and yet they were marked up as if they were masterpieces. Just keep on walking past this place.

I believe this was the gallery that I got approached by one of the Co-Art workers… As I entered the gallery the older women glided towards me and gave me an awkward smile and said, «Making memories?» I said, «What? Huh?» and she kept smiling the same way and pointed to my camera and said again, «Making memories are we?» I gave a nervous laugh and said«Yeah» and walked away… I felt like she was upset that I was holding my camera in the gallery. I just hadn’t put it away yet ok? jeesh… But, I might be making assumptions… I am not so used to friendly people since I am not one myself. Just kidding, it just took me off guard… No, I swear, I am nice! Co-Art is another cooperative gallery, with a variety of paintings, sculptures, and even jewelry. I can’t say that I was that impressed with the variety of art during the most recent First Friday, even though there was a variety to look at… What mostly caught my eye was the cheesy flower and cowboy paintings… Not that I could even paint these cheesy flower and cowboy paintings, but you get the idea… And I am still wondering why my eyes seemed to find the cheesiest work in the gallery. * Star one is for me… I don’t know anything about art, yet I somehow feel ok reviewing a gallery ** Spooky star two is for the older women who asked me about memories… Thanks for being friendly, I could learn from you *** Star three is handed out to the artists of the flower and cowboy paintings… Because I said so that’s why
