Let me start by saying the scheduler for Clean Conscience was very prompt in reaching out to me after I requested more information through Unilocal.We got a cleaning setup for the next day and I thought it was all going to work out.
After that point, things went down hill. At the scheduled time I got a call from the cleaning crew stating that the «green» products they use would not be able to make a difference on my move-​out clean due to the amount of filth left by my tenants. This was a surprise to me since I clearly stated to the scheduler that there was a tremendous amount of cleaning and she failed to mention her light-​weight cleaning products. The cleaner told me that their products «suck» and even though they were scheduled to have 3 people cleaning for 4 hours, I wouldn’t notice much of a difference.
I then called the office and they told me that they were aware of the issue and they would be able to get their crew to do their best in the allotted time. The next contact I received was a voicemail stating that they would not be able to do the clean due to a large number of spiders in the house and «good luck». I was concerned about what they found but they would not return my calls to find out where they found the spiders. I searched every inch of my house and could not find any evidence of what they found.
I would not recommend Clean Conscience to clean your home since the crews don’t work well with the office staff and they left me in a bind with a house that needed to be cleaned for a showing and gave me conflicting reports that ended up with them making up a story since they didn’t want to do the job. I also felt they were unprofessional in the conversations they had with me. At one point the cleaning crew said that the woman I spoke to originally «didn’t know what she was doing because she had never cleaned houses».

Don’t choose them if it matters to you that they actually show up. I had scheduled a deep cleaning scheduled with them for a Saturday afternoon. I had coordinated with my tenants to make sure the time would work for them. I get a message from them saying that they’re running behind and asking if they can reschedule. By the time I got the message, they were closed for the day and since all companies are closed on Sundays, I’m now out of luck to get something on the books for Monday. I was counting on this cleaning to be able to get photographs of the house taken early in the week and list the house for sale. So basically their lack of reliability has ruined my whole plan. In other words, if it’s important for them to be there, hire someone else!

Clean Conscience did an exceptional job cleaning our home. My wife and I were away on vacation and we didn’t want to return to the mess we left. By working with their incredibly responsive and efficient manager Holly she was able to arrange one of her teams to handle the work, and after doing a great job throughout they left a nice, handwritten note thanking us for our business. I truly appreciate not only someone doing a good job, but going above and beyond to make a tight schedule and then finishing off with a classy touch. We are now contemplating using CC on a regular, bi-​monthly basis. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My experience with Clean Conscience ended on a very bad note after I hired them for a move out clean, which should have included closets, appliances, cupboards, etc, but instead the crew did a very basic surface clean, missed the majority of the target areas, and left after just 45 minutes. Unfortunately, I spent my last day in my house deep cleaning all of the areas that they had left untouched. It was really the last thing I wanted to do or had time to do the day before closing on the sale of our house and moving out of state.
I had used them before this instance with pretty good results, but I always had a very hard time contacting anyone to schedule or arrange payment due to erratic office hours. I always got voicemail when I called and then wound up in a game of phone tag, including this time when I called to complain and hopefully have a crew come back out. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive a call back until 24 hours later after I had already moved out of state.
I had decided to use Clean Conscience originally because they use environmentally safe cleaning products and were reasonably priced, but if I still lived in Denver, I would look elsewhere because they’re not dependable and are not responsive.

Clean Conscience provided a deep clean for our house before we moved out. Not only were they under budget — they also cleaned so thoroughly that our hard-​nosed landlord ended up giving us back our full security deposit. Responsive when I’ve had questions via e-​mail. Would highly recommend.

Been with CC for bi-​weekly cleaning for about a year, but have just canceled our service. They started out great and we loved our regular crew. Always did a fantastic job. But once the crew leader left the company and management changed, they have gone seriously downhill. Over the last few months, we’ve had numerous issues: different crews each time, scheduling problems, late arriving, and very inconsistent quality of the cleaning. Last week was the worst. They were supposed to show up btwn 1:30 — 2:30, but no shows. And we had to call the office to learn they were running very late again. After much back and forth, scheduled for two days later. When yet another new crew showed, we told them to be sure the master bath was thoroughly clean/​spotless. But it was evident they didn’t listen or didn’t really care. That was the last straw. We are done with Clean Conscience and have engaged another «green» cleaner. We’ll see…

The girls were very friendly, however the house never felt any cleaner than usual. Cabinets/​appliances were dirty, base boards untouched despite asking twice to have them done. Lots of confusion/​poor communication from the office.

There were multiple times they called trying to come early, but our leasing office wouldn’t be open yet for them to get a key. They did have to re-​schedule a day once. Our final move-​out clean they arrived late and wanted to come back the next day towards the end of the job, but we couldn’t since they came on our last day of the lease. I came home to find that they ended up finishing when I told them that was not possible.
Besides that, they do a great job. And as far as I know, their pricing is competitive

Originally I gave Clean Conscious a five star review. That was about a year ago when we first started with the company. Shortly after the company was bought by another owner and management changed. Consistent with the other reviewers, quality went down after that. The staff is friendly, and they get straight to work. However they are often late, and had to reschedule often, probably because management is having them jam pack too many homes into a limited time frame. Quality is inconsistent. That is likely because staff are constantly turning over. This last clean was scheduled for Friday, and shortly before the cleaning they said they need to reschedule for Monday.
On Monday, they were late. I stepped out of the house to take a phone call, and came back to the house expecting them. Instead, I noticed they were already gone, and I thought, «Dang, they were fast today. » Then I noticed the floors were not wet as usual. They didn’t dust, or mop any of the hardwood floors. Our home is 710 square feet. There were three cleaners. How did three cleaners walk out of a 710 square foot home, and not notice that the majority of the house (besides the kitchen and bathroom) were not mopped? My senior dog is incontinent and she urinates on the floor when she is sleeping. Outlines of her urine puddles were still on the floors, along with her foot prints from where you gets up from a sleeping position, and walks away. Gross.
The toilet had hair and grim on it.
I called management and sent photos They rescheduled for the next day. I waited.
No call, no show.
I called them, they were running late and had to push it back two hours.
So, I withheld going to work so I could point out all the places that needed cleaning.
Two hours passed, and no call, no show.
I called the company.
She said they are still running late and it may be awhile. She offered to a free refrigerator clean, or oven clean.
I politely declined and said we would find an alternative cleaning option. They never responded.

I had just switched to Clean Conscience, and my first experience was fantastic. Jade, the manager, was efficient and professional, always quick to respond. The cleaning crew was also the best I’ve ever experienced. Friendly, communicative, and they did a great job with the cleaning.
Unfortunately, everything changed right after that. The company is under new management now, and in spite of trying to stick with them through their growing pains, I eventually gave up.
The next cleaning after the one that was scheduled showed up at the wrong time. They called and said that the crew could not get in the house, and I let them know that they were not supposed to come by until after 2pm. They apologized and the crew came back later that day. Ok, things get lost in the shuffle. Fine.
The crew came back later, and they were a different team than the one I had met with before. When I had talked to Jade, I had emphasized that it is important to me to have a consistent team that I trust rather than a new team every other week. But ok, I figured this was an extension of the aforementioned reshuffling and decided to let it go.
When the team left however, they had missed vacuuming one area of the house, and had left important things unplugged. I sent an email and reiterated that it is important that I work with a consistent team, reminded them of the window of time that I am supposed to have the team arrive, and mentioned the mistakes of the new team.
The next cleaning I was going to be out of town. I called to reschedule, and it required multiple calls and emails before I could get anyone to get back to me. In the course of trying to reschedule, they happened to mention that my usual team was on vacation, and yet again, a different team would have come had things proceeded as usual. By that time it was too late to reschedule the cleaning anyway, so I just skipped it, and reiterated that I only wanted to work with the first team that I had worked with, and if there was some change in the available team, they should notify me ahead of time so I could arrange to either be home during that cleaning or reschedule. They said that that was clear and they would do that moving forward.
The next cleaning, they sent out an email reminder a couple of days before the cleaning. I decided to double check, just in case. So I sent an email asking what time the team was scheduled to come, and to confirm that it would be my team. They told me the time they would arrive was early morning. And that my team had since left the company. So… not only had they scheduled my team for the wrong time window again, they had failed to notify me that my regular team had left and I would need to be placed with a new team.
Hopefully they are able to get the kinks worked out after the dust has settled. In the meantime though, I suggest you steer clear.

Great customer service. Danny and his team were very helpful and accommodating and the price was competitive.

Jade is very efficient with calls or emails back-​very happy with the professionalism. The cleaning people are on time, always friendly and accommodating. I am home when they clean so easy to see how thorough they are. Very happy with this company.

Inconsistent, we used clean conscience four or five times, can’t remember exact number could be more but either way it was a fair shake in my opinion. I was happy about the cleaning one time (20% is not good odds).
Yes, they give you a chance to rate cleanings and ask for ‘focused areas’ but cleaning master bath counters and mirrors and mopping are supposed to be standard.
Once they forgot to clean the upstairs. The entire upstairs. So I called, they rescheduled for them to come back another day to finish. I got home from work on said day and they hadn’t been by. The actual cleaning ladies, not management, called around 4:30−5 saying they were behind, do I still want them to come? «Uuhh well, yes. I’ve been billed for this cleaning already please come finish the job». So obviously they spent minimal time and really didn’t do a nice job.
A trinket airplane, not secured, we’ve even knocked this thing over, ended up falling off the mantel during a cleaning and the manager called me immediately. I didn’t even know it was broken yet, but she was ready to get it fixed and was really pleasant and easy to work with. The ladies even left a note saying I should expect a call from the company about the plane. This happened to be the best cleaning by far. In comparison, another time I came home and my front storm door actuator had been ripped out of the door so that the door swung open and smashed the side of the house. The ladies didn’t report it because they said it just fell off… really? This was also the crew that forgot the upstairs and when pressed to finish half assed it. However, once I called the manager about the door it was again very easy to handle and she was extremely attentive. SO management gets an A++ and a select few of the cleaning folks as well. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to deal with the mostly disappointing cleanings. Hopefully they get that worked out, because I really do think management is great to work with.

It took my family over 2 years to find a service to which we felt comfortable.
Wanting a our home cleaned wasn’t our only priority; we also wanted a service that would use products that were safe around our children and pets. It’s nice knowing a company has such a dedication to using environmentally friendly products.

They did a great job at a great price! They were extremely caring and were very thorough. I hope that they do not raise prices, as I think they are a good value at their current rates. I absolutely recommend.

NIGHTMARE experience and FINANCIAL INFORMATION RISK. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. First, scheduling was near impossible, then cleaning was incomplete — missed the oven, fridge, cabinets (which are listed as part of their standard cleaning) and had to reschedule them (again a nightmare) to finish the job. THEN after they had my credit card information to pay for that one horrible cleaning, it was charged a total of 4 TIMES for the same transaction amount A MONTH LATER. Which they «claim» they never had record of charging me. I had to raise a dispute to my credit card company for all 4 charges, which of course Clean Conscience had «no record of charging me for.» DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. I’m only giving them 1 star because I can’t give 0 or negative.
They did send me a check to reimburse me for the full amount, but have not yet addressed what happened with my credit card information. I have changed my original posting that this was a scam because they called and asked me to. I am still of the strong opinion that PEOPLE SHOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Both from a cleaning perspective because 2 items in their standard list to clean were completely missed and especially because they charged me 4 times «without them knowing» why which scares me more.

I had high hopes in the beginning because Alyssa was so nice and helpful. The girls who came to clean did an ok job– they were good at surface cleaning but I specifically asked for a deep clean and for them to spot clean walls and cupboards, which did not get done. However the icing on the cake was that I noticed a ring missing after they left (and yes I was home while they cleaned). I contacted Alyssa and at first she was great and helpful about it. I even thought it might have fallen off the dresser while they dusted, so I moved all the furniture in my room looking for it. I never found it and Alyssa never called me back after I left a message stating so. My loss, I guess :(

They did a great job on our moving clean! Everything was spic and span and smelled fresh and clean without smelling like chemicals. Additionally, Alyssa in the office was super helpful from start to finish!
We were so pleased that we are considering using Clean Conscience for weekly housekeeping.

I got a lot of grief from people for hiring a cleaning service, but I travel quite a bit, and when I am home, I want to REST, and not clean.
I had them come in and do a deep first time clean, with the anticipation that I would keep up a monthly service. Price seemed to fit my budget 3 bdrooms 2 ½ baths in a townhouse. just about 120 something or another :)
I have a dog, and he is a stalker. He follows you from room to room and is super nosy. My roommate came home during their first cleaning and they were super nice and had nice things to say about our Rocco… he didn’t even come to the door that’s how much he was watching all this cleaning… plus he’s afraid of the vacuum. lol.
They had everything out and moved and were doing a great job getting all the areas we miss on a normal clean. Bathrooms looked great and baseboards too. my stainless… looked better than I have been able to get it. Even little things, like the shine in my sink and on my microwave… Pretty good.
They came again the other day for what will be my monthly cleaning, and I’ll tell you, it was nice to have a nice clean home when I got home from work.

Wow, my wife was coming home from a 7 day trip with our 18^th month old and I wanted to surprise her with a very clean home. 2 people showed up for a 2hr cleaning. They were amazing. Every faucet is shiny. The baseboards are shiny. We have all wood floors and they got in every corner, under every chair, behind every plant… they got under the beds, the couches… and the cleaning solution has no smell.
I highly recommend this company.
