Specialties
We are chimney safety and brick restoration experts. We specialize in repairing all types of brick structures and we also service chimneys.
A family owned and operated business, Chimney Jack provides you with prompt service and careful attention to detail and always guarantees your satisfaction.
History
Established in 1979.
Chimney Jack was originally started by Mike Lowe about 1979. Mike learned most of what he knew from an earlier chimney sweep company named Oliver Twist. Trace Zimmer began working with Mike in 1985 and he bought out the company from Mike in 1989. In those early days we primarily did chimney sweeping and occasionally some tuckpointing and chimney repairs.
In 1990 we began doing less chimney sweeps and more chimney repairs. In the mid 90s Trace went back to school and got a degree in computer science and quit the chimney business entirely.
In October 2003, Trace had grown frustrated with computers and working in large corporations and decided to get Chimney Jack going again. He noticed that there was a definite lack of people skilled at restoring the older brick houses in Denver and decided that Chimney Jack could do well by offering quality brick repair services while also sweeping chimneys

When the wood burning bans began in Denver about 1990 we began doing less and less chimney sweeps and more chimney repairs. In the mid 90s Trace went back to school and got a degree in computer science and quit the chimney business entirely.
