Carlisle on the Parc

I’ve lived her for several years and love it! The apartments are nice, it’s very dog friendly and it’s in an awesome location in a beautiful neighborhood. The management team is also the best. The manager, Bob, is incredibly kind and helpful and goes above and beyond to take care of any concerns. My dog is also in love with him.

Love living here! Katie in the leasing office is fab and Melvin and Albert the maintenance guys are fantastic, always willing to help and always stop and say hi, and to my pups too! Great community feeling and the park is not even a block away, perfect for summer!

A great place to live. My girlfriend and I moved to Denver about 6 months ago and moved into the Carlisle on the Park. The apartments are nice, not brand new, but they are nice. There is a nice little fitness center, although it could use a few more free weights.
The maintenance guys are amazing. They are on always on top of things and respond super quickly. The leasing office people are great and helpful whenever there are questions.
Overall a great spot to live.

I moved in here in December and so far I’ve been very happy with the experience. The management team is friendly and responsive. The apartment complex is well cared for and the apartments themselves are exactly as advertised. The square footage is small, but the layout is functional and there’s no «wasted space». The location is the best part. I can walk to Whole Foods, King Soopers, coffee shops, Colfax and, of course, Cheesman Park is right across the street. If you want to live near downtown, I think this is one of the better deals out there.

I’ve lived at Carlisle on the Parc for two years and have almost no complaints. It is an extremely dog friendly complex — allowing almost any size dog, along with supplying dog bags outside the building. Although the high traffic to and from Cheesman Park deplete the bags, they are replenished quickly. There are three complexes which allow the apartments to feel homey and welcoming — each with two grills inside that allow for great cookouts! And the roof top deck is AMAZING. The staff are always there to help, and every maintenance request I have made has been fulfilled within 48 hours. The rent is a little on the pricey side, but the apartment is a block from Cheesman Park and right on the outskirts of Capitol Hill, only a few blocks walking distance from great restaurants, bars and shopping.

I’m just shy of 4 years living at Carlisle on the Parc. As what some would consider a long-​time resident, in 2 of the buildings on the property, I’ve been nothing but happy during my time there. The location is excellent! The staff has treated me like family, taking care of any concerns in a timely fashion, and going above and beyond at every turn. Covered parking in our neighborhood is tough to find, but COP has it. Being right next to Cheesman Park, it’s great that the Carlisle is so dog friendly. Over the years I’ve looked around the city at the other options but I’ve stayed at the Carlisle because it’s perfect for me.

I moved in here in January and everything so far has been great! Very dog friendly and an awesome location near the park. Walking distance to make stores and restaurants. Management has been helpful and friendly

Moved here in February. Well managed building. Paying rent online is a breeze. As much as this is a great area of downtown to live in… there has been an unfortunate increased crime rate in cap hill lately. Management put a note on the side and front doors of the entrance of the building to let people know of a bizarre break-​in at 13^th and Corona. Have never been concerned with safety around here but is nice to be vigilant about this kind of thing, the more people who are aware can potentially prevent something from happening. Keep it up!

I want to keep it short and simple… Carlisle on the Parc was a fine place to live. I moved to Denver on relatively short notice. After doing some research on Denver’s neighborhoods & more «corporate» apartments, this complex seemed like a good fit. Although the apartments are not the most up to date, they provide a nice balance between «updated» and «functional».
From my very first showing, to obtaining packages in the management office, and the resolution of maintenance requests, this management team was responsive and attentive. They really strive to make the living experience at Carlisle on the Parc hassle free. Additionally, the residents are a good mix of single professionals, couples, and families; I never had «issues» with neighbors. Last, the apartment’s proximity to Cheesman Park is amazing. It was great to walk 2 mins to one of Denver’s most beautiful parks with my dog.
If I ever move back to Denver, I will surely try to live here again/

Moved in here sight unseen from Illinois about 9 months ago initially into a larger 1 bed room apartment. I had to do everything over the phone and by e-​mail and the office staff was great in helping me get everything set up for my move. The apartments are as described and pictured online, and I felt like I got exactly what I expected. The maintenance staff is knowledgable and friendly, even have loaned me tools for minor personal projects. Others have correctly noted that the appliances and cabinetry are on the less expensive side, but I’m ok with that since the rent is incredibly reasonable for such a great location. After 5 months I decided to move into a 2 bedroom place with a roommate, and the office staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful. It’s a really wonderful community and I know most of the people who live around me (and their dogs). I plan on staying around here until I purchase something of my own. (I can’t give up the park!)

I used to live at the Carlisle… I wish I would have stayed but I moved into a bigger place in the ‘burbs. The location can’t be beat. I loved being right next to Cheeseman park.
They have covered and non-​covered parking, but I honestly never had an issue finding street parking at this location because it isn’t as heavily populated as other areas of cap hill (i.e., not as many apt buildings, a lot of houses that have private parking).
The leasing office was always friendly, let me know when I had packages for pick up and would host fun apartment happy hours and events — I made a lot of friends while living there. Definitely a great place to live if you are looking to live in that area!

Lived here for 6 years and I have very few complaints. The new manager has done a great job with the improvements in the 965 building I’m in and is always easy to deal with. Maintenance is responsive and generally gets the problem solved the first time. It’s an older buidling, so stuff will go wrong from time to time, but overall it’s in great condition.
The location is about as it gets in this part of town with the park a block away, a great safe neighborhood, Queen Soopers four blocks away, and pretty much anything else you would need within walking distance.
The rooftop patio is a very nice as well.

A responsive management team and exceptional maintenance crew make the Carlisle a great place to live. It’s pet friendly and the community cares. If you want to live near the park at a reasonable rate this is your place.

My boyfriend lives here and I visit often. This place is always full of fun. In the short time I’ve been around, I see it decorated for Broncos support, holidays, etc. I’ve always been greeted with a smile and a warm, «hello». They plan neighborhood gatherings at local watering holes and celebrate important events. I don’t live here, but cannot deny the true sense of community I always see around!

I’ve lived at Carlisle for about 4 months and I have very few complaints. The staff is friendly and helpful, and what few problems I have had in my apartment have been addressed same day. You can’t beat the location of the apartment building (half a block from Cheesman), and having rooftop patios on all 3 buildings is a HUGE plus.
Also, almost everyone living in the building is very friendly, which honestly makes for a great living experience. Signed up for 6 months originally in case I hated it, signing another year in September.

It’s a good place to live when everything is going perfectly. It’s unreasonably frustrating if you have any kind of problem.
The office is perpetually understaffed. The employees act friendly and helpful while you’re in, but there’s only a 50% chance that they’ll follow up on what they said they’d do without further requests. If you have to leave an answering machine message instead of talking to someone in person, reduce that to a 30% chance.
In less than three months, the air conditioning has broken (requiring at least 4 calls before someone fixed it correctly), the neighbor’s sink backed up into ours (no one replied when I left a message about it at noon, so I had to call emergency service after hours), and my bike and a lot of other people’s was stolen from designated storage, presumably made easier by the fact that the outside doors are broken and left unlocked. If someone parks in your paid parking spot at night or on the weekend, there’s nothing you can do about it.
It’s not so bad that I feel that I have to find a way to break the lease early, but I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend and I’ll be looking out for something better before it’s time to renew next year.

Not worth the money, at all. You’re paying to live next to Cheesman Park and that’s about it. The aparments are furnished with absolute bottom of the barrel appliances and cabinets. The towel racks fell out of the wall a week after moving in and the tracks on the closet doors in one of the bedrooms were so badly bent that they were almost impossible to close. Our roof leaked the first time it rained and our refridgerator died a month after moving in. While they boast beautiful courtyards, ours was torn up for 2+months for minor construction and littered with dog poo when it wasn’t dug up.
The 2 slackers in the leasing office are rarely there (despite the 8hrs a day 6 days a weeks open sign). We had to schedule a meeting with someone during normal business hours and he showed up 15 minutes late after we had to find a maintenance employee to call him. When our lease was up they offered to let us stay with a modest $ 160 a month increase in rent. When trying to negotiate and/​or speak to someone that had any decision making power we were told, «It’s prime leasing season.»
Not worth the time and effort to move in; save your money and find another place. You’ll be much happier in the end.
