Michelle has devoted her career to the perfect brow since back when Rachel first got that haircut on Friends. David is a rock star that also does beautiful makeup. In 2005 they opened Denver’s mom and pop eyebrow shop. What to call it?

Michelle Dinsmore is a brow obsessed individual. She started school to become a high school english teacher, but soon found out it wasn’t all «To Sir with Love». Beauty school seemed like a good alternative to waiting tables at the local Denny’s.

Eyebrow design wasn’t respected as a specialty at that time, but it became an obsession for Michelle. In 2005 a small space opened next to Forest Room 5, and Brows was born. Mr. Dinsmore is an amazing makeup artist and «Hair Traffic Controller».

If you dedicate your life to something as esoteric as eyebrows, it’s nice for someone to notice, so press from InStyle, 5280, Denver Post, How Not to Look Old really help!

Too many brows for one girl to shape, and talented brow designers knocking on the door has grown Denver’s House of Perfect Brows.

This is by far the best place I have ever been to get my brows done in Denver. The atmosphere is very relaxing and Connies technique was amazing! I highly recommend this place and Connie to anyone looking for a new brow spot and I will definitely be coming back!

The main reason for the three stars is because of how over-​priced it is. Granted, I’m coming from NYC where I could get my eyebrows threaded for $ 7, but they have some weird level system for their aestheticians, which means they charge more??? I paid $ 24 plus tip for an eyebrow threading that took five minutes. Probably won’t go back.

It is about time I wrote a review! I have been seeing Amber for about 7 months and have been extremely happy with my brows. I had over plucked and was ready to grow them in before my upcoming wedding. She gives great advice on where to let grow and where to wax. I have seen a major improvement and she always keeps me encouraged to keep letting those loner hairs grow (dramatic, I know!). Amber and the rest of the staff I have met are lovely and always make my visits enjoyable.

This place is so amazing! I have been going to Kai for my brows and occasional facials for over a year. She’s always so friendly and you never have to worry about her work! I wish they would open a second location near DU.

I started here when Michelle the owner just opened and a little before that. She took some time off and passed me on to Kayla who is absolutely phenomenal. She does the best lashes and eyebrows are always on point. Everyone is friendly and it’s always clean and vibrant. The location is convenient as well.

Everyone can use a little help with their brows. That goes for you too, gentlemen.
I had an appointment with Connie today and scheduled my next visit. She was efficient and did a really great job. She also showed me how to keep my brows looking great between visits. She can do either waxing or threading, or a combination, depending on your skin sensitivity or pain threshold.
They also offer a variety of waxing options which I look forward to checking out as well. Great space on a cool block.

I believe I have been coming to this establishment for about a year now and I will never go anywhere else in Denver again. It is a bit pricey, but you totally pay for what you get and I have never been let down. I typically see Ester every so often and I am always beyond pleased. She waxes my eyebrows and lip. I have never seen my brows look so consistently wonderful. They look so good; I think I have even convinced some of my male friends to come check it out. I am super fussy about the fullness of my brows and Ester always seems to kill it! Brows on Upper 15th is definitely worth the extra bills and I recommend all to come check it out.

If I could give Brows ten stars, I would! I have been seeing Amber for nearly five years and I never leave looking anything short of amazing! I have transitioned through a few very different hair colors (super dark to platinum to dark to golden blonde) and Amber has always been on top of keeping up my brows to match. She is always up front and honest in her opinions (Bonus: Her opinions aren’t opinions, as she is always spot on!) She is a true master of the art of brows (and eyelash tinting). Amber is always wonderfully funny and darling while you’re in her chair.
Stop going to the butcher at your local nail place and come see Amber (or any of the other incredible Brows staff) RIGHT NOW!

This is the ONLY place in Denver I’ve allowed to touch my brows since moving to Colorado nearly a year ago. I’ve seen several stylists and have always had a lovely experience, super detailed, never rushed. I enjoy the waxing more than the threading experience. I feel like it lasts much longer and isn’t near as painful! Would recommend!

I went to Brows recently for my first ever brow wax and my experience was wonderful. The building is beautiful– very spacious and clean. It was a nice, relaxing environment. Esther was awesome, and showed me where to grow out brows, how to fill them in, etc. She was very helpful, and listened to my concerns and put me at ease right away. Will definitely be back and so happy to have found such a great place!

I moved to the west coast almost a year ago, but I make an appointment at Brows on Upper 15th every time I come back to Denver. I love the level of detail dedicated to my brows, and I the fact that I never go home with any stray hairs that need additional plucking. Connie. Is. Awesome. Now if only I could find her equal in my new hometown…

This place is great! I’ve been seeing Connie for about 8 months now for eyebrow threading and have nothing but good things to say. My brows weren’t terrible before but just a little over plucked and needed some love to let them grow in and look more natural. I like threading more so than waxing because I feel like it lasts longer and makes my brows look more natural in the end. I can’t say it isn’t painful but pain is beauty!
My brows still have a few thin spots but I know it takes time to have them fully come back. I now live in Texas and still come in to see Connie when I’m in town. Compared to other places, this is a consistent person who knows what I would like my end result to be. Eyebrow threading is $ 20 with her which is a little pricier than some other places but when I’m only going every 6 weeks or so it isn’t so bad.

I was looking for a place to get my eyebrows waxed. Searched on Unilocal and found Brows on Upper 15 and read the reviews and noticed Kai was very popular and had excellent reviews. Being it was a Friday I wasn’t sure if I would be able to get an appointment on the same day. I called and was so happy to get a same day appointment with Kai.
When I arrived I was half an hour early because I wasn’t sure of the parking. I went in and they were able to move up my appointment up 15 minutes.
Kai asked me if I wanted wax or threading. I told her what ever she wanted to do was fine. She ended up doing both and even penciled in some of my patchy spots.
I’m so happy and thrilled with her work! My eyebrows never looked better. I will definitely go back the next time I’m back in Colorado! I wish we had a Brow shop like this on Maui!

Connie is the BEST, she can do it all! I had a classic facial and a wax and thread. The facial was SO relaxing and soothing I almost passed out. It was very comforting. I relaxed on the table while she cleansed, toned, steamed and moisturized my face. She massaged my hands and arms and it was just so delicious. My skin looked and felt like silk. After my facial she took me down stairs and did my eyebrows, I’ve received so many compliments on my brows. Connie took care of me and I had an AWESOME experience. Worth every penny and a hefty tip. Connie knows her stuff and she’s so down to earth and easy to talk to it’s like hanging out with your buddy while you get pampered.

As a formerly once-​or-​twice-​a-​year-​or-​whenever-​I-​feel-​like-​it eyebrow wax person, I now set up appointments at Brows every one to two months as «getting my brows did» has become my favorite beauty service. I guess that’s saying something? I used to add brow waxing on as a service when I got something like a pedicure (also rare for me), but didn’t understand the true artistry of it all until I went to Brows.
While they offer other services, they primarily do brows here. So you really can’t go wrong with anyone. I’ve gone to Caitlin and Amber and both have been awesome. They’ve made suggestions based on my face shape, taken photos for my file for future reference and Amber even sold me on brow gel (think light colored mascara for brows) that enhances/​defines/​evens out my lighter eyebrow color without making them look fakey. It’s now my favorite cosmetic. Even a makeup dunce like me can use it!
They also don’t limit themselves to just waxing. Every person can also thread and they’ll often due a mix of threading and waxing in the same service depending if one or the other makes you break out in certain spots. They also trim, shape, and apply powder on any red areas if you’re going back to work. They’re very thorough!
The location is also very convenient for me and appointments are easy to make online. Easy to get in and out over a lunch hour. I’ve finally found an eyebrow place I’ll confidently return to again and again!

Still awesome. I am on visit #2 and now apparently in «brow rehab» as Connie explained. I am trying to grow my eyebrows out longer because I did my own awesome work on them prior to coming to Brows (being facetious of course).
Still relaxing for some weird reason. I still love the hard wax which is more gentle on my sensitive skin and the threading which takes away the fine hairs. My favorite part is the cooling antiseptic (smells like tea tree oil) and aloe gel that is smoothed on to my brow area after the shaping. It feels wonderful and lasts a long time. I feel like it keeps me from getting super red.
Lastly, I would like to mention the front staff again. Still happy and professional. Still offered me a drink while I waited. That really rounds out the experience for me. Everyone in this joint is pleasant and accommodating. Weird, right?!
Will be back in two plus weeks!

Kayla is awesome for brow waxing and threading. She is very meticulous and always does a great job with adding a nice arch and taming unruly eyebrows. I highly recommend her.
I initially started coming here several years ago for facials. I had great experiences with two estheticians that worked here. They both have since left though.
My last facial appointment was with a girl who told me that she had been working the front desk, and was now performing facials. She was very nice, however the facial itself was terrible. I could tell that she was not experienced or well trained yet. As a result, I haven’t been back for a facial since. So my recommendation would be to ask for an experienced esthetician when booking a facial.

FANTASTIC. FANTASTIC! I can’t really say enough about it. Stephanie is AMAZING.
My BFF texted me yesterday saying «I need brow fixing, let’s go get brows done and then go shopping.» So, I called over to Brows to see if they could get us in, and they could. Sweet! When I walked in the door, the place had that great «lotion, candles, and soothing beauty» smell. You know what I mean, right? Plus, I got a hot chocolate to drink while waiting.
My BFF got her thinner, lighter brows shaped up, got a patch test to get them tinted (a nice safety step — make sure you aren’t going to break out on your face) and then had the stylist suggest some tips to help her brows look better. And they DID look better! Lovely lovely brows!
My brows are quite the opposite — giant scary beasts if left untrimmed. I think my body puts all the hair growing energy into growing my brows, rather than the hairs on my head! But Stephanie wasn’t afraid, no, not at all. She shaped them up with threading, understood exactly what I was trying to say, and got the arch PERFECT on both sides. I haven’t had brows this good in quite some time. I immediately booked a return appointment. She also filled them in a bit with a pencil, and told me to leave certain spaces alone to allow them to grow a certain way. Super professional work, super friendly atmosphere, and great prices. Sure, it’s not a $ 15 wax strip, it’s a little more ($ 25 or so) but SO WORTH IT. Literally, I look and feel better than I have in a while, and the brows are TOTALLY part of that!
