So I have very similar to say, what has already been said in other reviews. But what I have unique to add, is that I talked to someone higher up the food chain at Broadview, and not only did they try to continue swindling me for medication, but actually tried to defend the way in which they ambushed you into buying expensive medication. So here we go… I went in on a Saturday, as previously written terribly long wait, but understandable. I went in to see the doc for routine rabies shots, $ 65 visit. Vet examined ears, said had yeast infection in ears, put some medication in bag for ears get to the front counter, and bill’s $ 130 now. Never discussed price of medication, never asked me if I wanted it. I found a solution on the internet to get rid of the infection using white wine vinegar and water, and an antibiotic from Walgreens that retails for $ 15. Brought the medication in today, front staff was very rude, went to discuss with manager, then called me in to discuss with manager. I explained to the manager my situation, she describes and I quote «the doctor isn’t a salesperson, so he just assumes that you’re here to maintain the health of your pet, and that you would want to pay whatever that is» I’m sure there’s people like that, that will pay whatever, but I’m not one of them. I’m also not interested in taking my car to the mechanic to have one thing fixed, then find out he decided to fix 5 more things, and here’s my bill at the end. She then tried to sell me on why they were such good products, then tried to not take the unopened packages back because I have had them for 2 weeks. In the end she said we’re starting from scratch, but I’m very unlikely to ever take my dog back there. I don’t normally take the time to do reviews, even when you getting really bad service, but I do feel like people should know their common practices, and that there is something that you can do about it. I gave them one star, only for the reason, that I think some of the people there, genuinely care about animals.

I took my cat there because she became very sick and I thought she was going to pass away. When I brought her into the exam room the «vet» (not sure what he was) whisked her away and told me they would call me before 2 that day. When I finally got a hold of them around 4:30 that afternoon they informed me that they would be keeping her for a couple of days to hydrate her. When they called me on the third day to say that I could come and pick her up, I was relieved that she would be coming home. When I got there they charged me over $ 600 and sent us home with a case of food, anti biotics, and IV’S to administor daily at home for 2 weeks. I was in shock. One of the techs showed me how to do the IV, but no other instructions for her care were provided. I felt scared, abused, and taken advantage of. They did not consult me at all before treating her. I will never go there again.

I took my Saint Bernard here to be neutered and it was an awful experience. They did not offer a scrotal ablation which they should have with a dog of his size. Needless to say, the area swelled to the point that he could not even sit down and I rushed him to the emergency vet. They confirmed that he had a fever but that I could wait until Broadview opened a few hours later to take him in there. Once there, Dr. Rucker basically threw pain killers at me and rushed me out the door. I even made sure to reiterate a few times that he had a fever because as anyone with any education knows, FEVER = INFECTION. He barely glanced at my dog and acted disgusted when he asked for pets. I drove all the way back home (about 30 minutes away) and then noticed that my dog was dripping blood all over the place. I had to rush him back for an emergency ablation. I was told that he would probably have to stay overnight and they would call me to let me know. I called them right before they closed because I hadn’t heard from them, and Dr. Rucker very rudely told me that he said that they’d call IF he had to stay. What? So I’m just supposed to miraculously know when his surgery is done? Ugh. Terrible customer service. I am only giving two stars because when I freaked out about them charging me for anesthesia again even though the procedure should have been done the first time around, they dropped them. Also, the front desk girl was very sweet when I was crying. I will NEVER be back though. You really get what you pay for.

The walk-​in hours are great and the staff are extremely helpful! Dr. Davies is very kind and thorough. The teeth cleaning price and process cannot be beat.

I have been bringing my dogs to Dr. James Wingert’s clinic for about a decade and one half. He has always had a kind and caring staff. My latest trip was pleasant because of the way the tech Bryan that handled Kooshi’s tooshi cleaning and toenail clipping experience. He was extremely calm and took the time to let Kooshi settle down and clipped and filed each toenail without frightening her more.
He apprised me of each step as I held her. I always make sure she is wearing a muzzle during such procedures for the safety of the staff. Thank you all for doing what you do.

Love this clinic! Dr Davies is great and their prices are lower than anywhere (helpful when you have 3 dogs 2 of which are puppies). When you call it does take forever to get ahold of anyone and sometimes there is a little bit of a wait but if you ask me it’s totally worth it for the money you save and the quality of the service you receive from the docs! Won’t take our animals anywhere else.

The vet we saw wanted to charge us for services that were not necessary, which doubled the initial quote we were given for an exam and shots. Heart worm meds were almost double what they are offered through online pharmacies. They say they will price match, but then they add $ 10 fee on top of the price. That misses the whole point of price matching. Upon questioning this, I was curtly reminded of their ‘affordable’ reputation. Not in my case! Front desk staff were short, unfriendly, and not really interested in providing quality customer service. I have never felt more like a number when it came to getting my pets care. I’ll gladly go elsewhere after only one visit to this place.

I really love this vet office! I have three dogs and I bring them all here always. They are so affordable and I know they take great care of my dogs because my dogs are so happy when they need to go visit the vet

My wife and I have taken our cat here quite a few times (shots, neutering, etc) and have never been disappointed. All the employees have always been very helpful. Jinny was extremely helpful when we decided to move overseas! She walked us through the process and even went into work early and worked late to help us get all of the health certificate paperwork filled out correctly. She stayed in constant contact whenever I had questions! While the waits can be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour for a walk-​in, it is completely worth it. I lived in Lakewood which was about a 30 minute drive away and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I highly recommend Broadview Animal Clinic.

I moved here from Missouri and was astonished at how pricey the vets were in Colorado. After searching around and doing my research in hopes of finding a good ol’ country vet, I was faced with driving to Franktown or giving Broadview a try. I opted for Broadview and I have yet to be disappointed. The vets have been caring and most of the techs seem to be as well. I am not particular about seeing the same vet so we take what we get and so far it’s been a great and affordable experience.
Examples of my pleasant experiences include:
* One of my dogs got into the Heartguard and ate the whole box. Without hesitation, I was able to get replacement pills without feeling like I was being interrogated.
* If the dog needs blood work at a later date, I’m not forced to pay for another office visit. The tech takes the blood and I’m only charged for the blood draw.
* They have an electronic medical record for each of my dogs! How neat is that?
So why not 5 stars if I am so happy? Well they aren’t the best at documentation. There’s been two instances where I’ll get a reminder that one of the dogs needs a vaccination and when I show up, they really aren’t due. Since this I’ve started tracking myself and we work through it without an unnecessary trip. It’s still a hassle but I’m willing to take the extra 5 minutes to review their file folder I’ve maintained before making the appointment.
Wait times are hit or miss. I’ve always had an appointment and haven’t ever waited for longer than 15 minutes. I’ve been there when walk ins get upset that I’ve arrived after them and are getting in before them but hey buddy, that’s the benefit of having an appointment.

Knowledgeable, friendly, and just a great place! I was able to get quite a bit of information from their website and received quick responses via email to all questions – which I had many of. Additionally, the vet was extremely knowledgeable and nice. I will be back! Thank you!

I have to say that since I was very young and had a dog growing up, I have taken our family pups to this vet. This vet is honest, affordable and loving to our pets ! Yes, the wait can be long but it is the most affordable place yet! Recently our pup got into something and had to have surgery to remove what she ate. Three days at the vet and surgery to remove what she ate, meds, IV fluids, X-​rays and much more was about $ 1500 total. Much more affordable then comparable vets. They even kept her overnight to keep her on fluids when she needed them. They care about the dogs and pets they take care of. Dr Spiro was great and the vet techs are amazing too! I can trust them with our pups ! Would highly recommend.

This place is awesome! We were quote 800−1k for a teeth cleaning and extraction for our lab/​Rottweiler mix. After stressing to come up with funds we checked around and got an appointment here. They were booked until March for teeth extractions but stated if it was urgent they would squeeze us in. Her molar was fractured and had to be removed ASAP. They squeezed her in and stated it would be 200 – 250 tops. We also wanted to get a few large skin tags as well as a fatty mass. This all ended up being less than $ 500. I think they can keep prices low by the high volume as well you aren’t seen by a vet tech but the vet right when you get there.
Everything is great so far after picking her up! They even trimmed her nails again during surgery.

I made an appointment for a spay. I arrived to the clinic the day of the appointment and I said I didn’t want a spay if the results of a test were negative. They had me fill out the paperwork for a spay anyways. Went in to the doctor and told him I did not want a spay. He said he needed to run the test to make sure it was safe to leave the cat without the operation. Went back to the clinic a few hours later to a spayed cat and a huge bill even though the results of the test said I didn’t need one. Felt like I was tricked into a service that I explicitly said I did not want. The Vet did not listen to what I said, so if you go here make sure this clinic has no way to squirm out of a mistake.

This is the best Vet you could ever ask for. I grew up on a farm in MN and I have had many experiences with different Veterinary offices, I would drive for MILES and MILES to bring any animal here. They are very caring and are committed to doing the right thing. They never recommend tests that are unnecessary or irrelevant based on the treatment options. Their medications are also very reasonable. I have had an Emergency appointment experience and a routine visit with my dog. It’s never fun being at the vet with your furry loved one, but this place can ease the pain in more ways than one.

Excellent Service! Dr. Spiro loves being a veterinarian, you can tell.
It makes the visit fun, fulfilling and worthwhile. I feel like he goes above and beyond with his time.

Great vets! Yes, there is a long wait, even when you just call to make an appointment. This is most likely due to the the high volume of clientele this office services! They will take walk ins if your pet has been seen before. This is an enormous help! Especially when you have an active senior animal that refuses to slow down.
These vets don’t charge a lot for their services. No joke! I’ve been quoted more than $ 100 more for a dental cleaning and that’s not even anything complicated. The last time I was in, in fact, I met a lady that drives from Arvada, just to see these docs. They don’t try to up-​sell you, matter of fact I’ve found myself asking them about optional treatments to optimize my baby’s health.
I am so lucky my baby is healthy, but I can’t say enough good things about this office. check it out, they even have current magazines.

We have been taking our dogs to Broadview Animal clinc for 15 years and will be finding a new vet. This clinic has really gone hill.
I made a difficult call on Monday to schedule an at home euthanasia for our 13 year old dog and was told we would get a call back that day. Checked in on Tuesday and two more times Wednesday because we never heard back. On the last call I was finally able to get a date set up but then was told it was going to be over $ 100 more than what I wad quoted on Monday.
No empathy for reason for call, no follow through, and now raising the price. No thank you we will be taking our business somewhere else.

I recently adopted a dog and brought him here. I was very disappointed with the service. Everyone was friendly and the wait wasn’t long but having adopted a dog with zero medical history that had been fixed the week before I would have expected them to check his ears, eyes and do a basic check-​up.
The vet tech gave him his shots and was ready to walk out. I stopped him and asked him my questions, had him check him to ensure he was healing well and mention he had a cough.
Due to the lack of attention given I will not be returning.

We needed to get a chip for our new puppy. She was a rescue and a microchip is part of the adoption process.
A friend told me, «Simple, fast, inexpensive.»
Those words describe it perfectly.
I arrived right at opening time and was there only about 10 minutes.
