History

Established in 2004.

The whole concept behind Babylon was to create a beautiful oasis in a dry, rough urban setting. Based on the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, and thanks to the inspiration of my first customer and her eighth floor garden we created together, Babylon Floral Design was born. We strive to test the boundaries of the industry, including fashion projects, installations and the most unusual of botanicals!

With a background in photography, sculpture, and garden design, I’ve been in the industry for 15 years, opening the shop 5 years ago in it’s present location. Our new location will be unveiled in the next few months! I’ve served on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Retail Floral Association, been a demonstrator for the Denver Art Museum and area garden clubs. Fantastic, just fantastic! I wanted to get a special arrangement for a first date anniversary my partner and I were celebrating. We were just going to be down the street and I thought it would be fun to drop in and have an arrangement waiting. In reading the reviews I was convinced that this was the place I wanted to go to. And I was right!
Plans changed and we ended up eating at Brothers Waffles so when we were getting seated outside. I said, «Oh there is a store I want to check out. Be back in a minute.» When I walked out with the incredible arrangement my boyfriend burst into a huge smile, shook his head, and blushed! So I got the reward I wanted from him.
The arrangement was wonderful for the price I paid. To me it looks much more expensive then it was and I think the boyfriend thinks so too! We love having it in out living room and look forward to buying more from this outstanding florist.

I ordered a bouquet from Babylon Floral for a coworker and could not be happier with the results. I went through the online ordering system, which simply has you choose a price point, color scheme (warm or cool), and size. They do the rest. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the bouquet is truly beautiful. It is full, unique, lush, and absolutely gorgeous. They do wonderful work and the delivery was prompt. I have ordered flowers in the past and these are far and away the best!

Before ordering from Babylon Floral I never really cared about giving, receiving or just having flowers around. This place doesn’t just do flowers. Best I can say is sculptures with live plants. I keep every plant and arrangement as long as possible, pick out the dead and keeps them around for a few more days!

He is dependable and strives to make every customer happy with their creation. I would recommend him for anything from simple small arrangements to lavish over the top weddings. I just said that I wanted something kinda cheap (I’m an unpaid intern), purple, and a bit unique. She came back with something that was absolutely perfect for the price I wanted. I also got them freshened up the next day because I was dumb enough to leave them in my car, and she was super nice about it. The girlfriend was thrilled. THANKS BABYLON!

We just had our wedding this past Saturday. Everything was perfect. Arthur did a stunning job on each piece. I called Babylon to deliver a birthday bouquet in downtown Denver. I wanted to use a nearby florist. The girl was nice and said I could do anything form $ 40 & up plus $ 10.00 delivery. So I figured, don’t go bare bones, and asked for a $ 50 arrangement, which came to $ 63.83 (not sure about Denver taxes). Now I see people complaining about much nicer arrangements, but this is kind of lackluster.
They did deliver as promised. Same day.
Next time I need a florist in Denver, I’ll try another

They had long stemmed roses which I love. They also had bird of paradise which I almost got but they had not opened. Their selection was very good but more importantly their arrangement was the selling point. I walked around and looked in the back, was impressed with their work for other clients.
They put my roses in a vase and then in a cardboard box so as not to tip over in the car ride. In addition they used nice plant filler as oppose to inexpensive blue breath. The price matched the quality.
I’ll be going back.

My husband got me flowers from here for Mother’s Day. They never blossomed and browned within 2 days.
He told me he went in and asked for a bouquet between 20 and 30 dollars, and the woman went in the back, and came back to the front and said «the total is 32.30»
I’ve attached some photos of my flowers from 4 days ago.
There were 4 roses, and a few other styles. The purple flowers never bloomed and died almost immediately. Browned.

I have a boyfriend (now fiancé) that knows I love flowers and spoils me. Since moving to Denver he’s been using Babylon to surprise me and their arrangements are always gorgeous. Great place, excellent service. Went in for Valentines flowers. They had exactly what I wanted and said it would be ready in 10 – 15 minutes.
Not only did they do a great job, they told me about a bicycle shop across the street that is also a coffee shop. Love it!

By far, the best, most beautiful and creative florists in Denver. Their flowers are ultra fresh and so beautifully arranged
I wanted to spoil my partner with an extremely unique bouquet from a cool spot. I am so satisfied with my decision to utilize Babylon over one of the online services out there.

I’ve never quite seen a floral arrangement like the ones my hubby sends from Babylon. Their work is exotic yet classic, always bright, colorful and (from the arrangements I’ve gotten) larger than life. I appreciate the exotic blooms like peace lilies and birds of paradise. There is something in every bouquet I have to Google to find a name for! Every time I get flowers at work, my co-​workers ooh and ahh. If you want to make a special impression on that special someone, I’d recommend Babylon as they’ve charmed me!

I love the flowers I get form this place. I got flowers on the 8th and now it’s the 30th and they are still looking good. That’s a long time to have them. I can walk in ask for a arrangement and they ask me what I’m looking for, I just give a price I will pay and they make me something for that price. I have bought arrangements from $ 25 — $ 75 and the are always beautiful.

Absolutely stunning! I could not have been more impressed with the flowers that Arthur and the Babylon Floral team prepared for my wedding. I shared my vision with Arthur and he made it come to life — and then some.
It was more than I could have hoped for. The bouquets were stunningly beautiful — calla lilies, roses, and more exotic flowers I couldn’t even name. Everything looked gorgeous and way more expensive than they actually were.

Love, love, LOVE these guys! They helped me out in a bind several years ago and I remember being so impressed with the quality customer service over the phone, and then even happier when I found out how much my friend loved the flowers I’d sent. This past week I received the most beautiful bouquet from my fiancé and it was delivered by the nicest, most courteous person I’ve ever spoken with on the phone — such a 180 from the terrible experience I’d had with Broomfield Florists — who made an effort to find out when and where the best place was for her to drop off the flowers.
Highly recommend Babylon for anyone looking for very quality, impeccably arranged flowers — which smell SO good, but the way! — run by true professionals.
